Just take your total for a one week period and divide by 7. Then you have your b/p ppd average.

Those averages were for a one week period anyway. Otherwise just take your total b/p points and divide by the number of days you have been a member here since the b/p system was implemented.

Didn't you notice, though, that all the EGSCs have "26" next to EGSC, and all the EG Generals have "25" next to EGG, and all the EG Lieutenant Generals have "24" next to EGLG, and so forth and so on? IOW, that even if it was confusing because you were thinking of EXP levels... that there was an actual correspondance between the b/p rank and the b/p level listed next to it? O_o

Indeed. And since you already feel there are more than enough Sergeant ranks as it is, I'll bet you're glad it doesn't go up to 30.

My guess is that they didn't really think about how many there were like they did with levels. With levels, they probably had the number in mind, or at least a rough number, and just made enough level icons to go with it.

Whereas with the b/p ranks, it's all based on Army ranks, so... they probably didn't notice how many there were and then label them with numbers, until they'd designed all the badges. Who knows, there may have been more originally, and some got cut (like extra sergeant ranks).

BTW, I believe I said something on the last page like "OH NO! If Pimp gets to Police Captain I'll drop from 25 to 26 in VP rank" or something. For some reason, I was confusing -bomb- with Pimp. -bomb- has 10.50, and indeed... if he ranked up, he'd pass both fixit (who's just passed him for #26) and myself in VP... but Pimp has 10.99 (HT has 11.00), and if Pimp gets the 4 more b/p he needs for Police Captain, he will be passing HT and a few other people, to around where HAQ is, not quite to RyoHahn's rank.

Well he did it and got those 4 points he needed. He's now got a sick VP of 11.19. That's one thing I don't get about those people who are really high on the EXP list. If they just got a few b/p points they would have rediculous VP.

I'm going to be moving to New Hampshire in a month so I'll periodically be spending weekends there apartment hunting and whatnot. My target is approximately every two weeks, give or take a few days as a trip to NH coincides with the slated update. That information was on the old main page, which I haven't shifted to archives yet, so not your fault that you missed it lol. This weekend I'm aiming to get a couple agencies out looking for me, a PO Box, and picking up a "local" cell phone, maybe a laptop and some software while I'm in no-sales-tax-land too. Next weekend I should be at home tying up loose ends like movers and so forth, so turning to something like doing the list is going to be the eye of calm in the storm of chaos lol

Congrats to Pimp on finally hitting Police Captain, then. #;-}> That's one thing he beat HT to, at least. And yep, 11.19 was what I was estimating he'd hit with teh rankup when I was noodling.

It's fairly easy to calc for him because... HT's base VP being 10... and his being 9.99... both of their bonuses WERE 10%.. thus bringing them to 11.00 and 10.99... but now Pimp has teh 12% bonus, and yep... 11.19. If HT hits Police Captain, he'll be at 12.00, obviously.

Dunno. I've got the main page bookmarked, seems as if the DNS is borked or it's run out of bandwidth. If it's stored locally on your ISP, you should be able to see it, even if the rest of us can't.

Document contains no data is what it's just saying, trying to access base.html (with the right case where relevant). Strange.
