I figured you had it right, but may as well check the easy answer first. Since Comanche and I can access it, but you can't, I'd guess it has more to do with the TA than anything on your end. Russians lose another sub?

See that list at the bottom of the BBS pages? Click every name you haven't yet. I've bumped my history up to 5-day so it recycles them allowing me to catch people who have moved into range since the last time I looked at their profile.

While you're down there, change the drop down from "show topics from the last 2 weeks" to "show all". Pick a page greater than 100. Find a thread with more than 50 posts and go through it clicking on profile links that don't look familiar.

Up top is a link to Users. Click it. On the left nav, choose Last 50 Deposits. Click all the names above X experience, whatever parameter you have set. I screen everyone at 400 and above. when you get to the bottom, refresh and start over.

Go through the top 100 flash and pull up their reviews. Click the profile links of anyone whose name you don't recognize.

That should keep you busy ;-)

well i congratulate you for being so continual in your efforts to put the little guys like me onto a big list like that :-)

Between my hunting and help from you folks we've ramped the EG List up from last week's 468 of 613 (76%) to 505 of 627 (81%). At 40 a week we'll fill the blanks out in no time ... except that we've probably already found all the easy ones lol I lost count on the Captains' list, but all told we're up to 920 of 1,485 (62%) people known and being tracked. High blanks are now 123 (falling) and 140 (climbing). Regular updates are more likely to occur on a bi-weekly basis, so don't get used to this once a week thing. My plans for this weekend shifted to during the week next week, as it was the only way I could meet with everyone I need to in one trip, so y'all got lucky ;)

A lot of you newer folks won't have noticed this, since you are so used to seeing fixit parked on top of the Top 50 list, but we have a revival in the Top 50. Our very first Elite Guard Supreme Commander has come out of (semi-)retirement. Whether you know her as Target Mistress, Blam Queen, Thatbitchblammedmycrap, or Who?, ramagi is back with a vengeance. Don't let this week's stats fool you, ramagi can drop 100 BPs before lunch and has a list of "First at NG to ..." that might fit on this page if I used a small enough font. Maybe she thought spotting our resident robot 10k was enough of a lead to not embarass it too much. Welcome back =)

Unless Bob suddenly rejoins us, it looks like this will be the last time we see him on the top 50. KWAS71KCK will probably pass him today, after which kospas and IM_KOOL_R_U look to be the people vying to take the last spot from HAQnSPITT. Mielipuolimieli has always run hot and cold, so there's no guarantee as to whether he'll get into the mix or not. Maybe not by next update, but definitely the one after that we'll see First Lieutenant as a requirement to join the Top 50.

Random notes for those of you new to the list:

The original home was in the Wi/Ht? Forum in B/P Ranks 51+. The idea was to share the information I had gathered while I was climbing the ranks, names and stats of people along the way, so that other people weren't constantly wondering who they were chasing and who was chasing them. It's grown quite a bit since the humble beginnings (and several deleted, really squirrelly looking posts while I worked out something that looked at least OK in the forums) A full posting of it now takes 6+ posts, which is just a little more than you're allowed in half an hour. Between that, the other anti-spam measures, and the formatting, it needed to find a new home. Updates used to occur several times a week, but as the list, and the amount of work to generate it, has grown the frequency has dwindled. Count on regular updates every two weeks or so, slightly more or less often as my RL schedule dictates, and full updates every 6-8 weeks. For Rank-up lists appearing on the main page, the order is top to bottom on Rank, and alphabetically within a Rank. If you want to see if you are going to be in the next update, check against the Full list. In order to appear on a Full update you need to have a minimum of 750 total Blams and Saves (halfway up the Police Lieutenant rank). In order to be listed in Normal update with statistics, you need a total of 1,500. See the big Elite Guard Rank List on top? Starting to catch on yet? Elite Guards located between updates, or ranking up from Police Captain, will have NEW listed for their stats the first time, and will have stats listed beginning with the subsequent update. There isn't a Forum button and there won't be; I talk to myself enough as it is without documenting it. If you have any additions, comments, or corrections make them in thread.

When I did the first round of stat pull you were at 2495. I checked again when I finished working on the spread sheet and moved over to working on the site you still hadn't collected the 5 you needed. Once I move from the spread to posting, time's up.

You'd have gotten two grats this week had you managed it, but you're in good shape to have that happen next time. On the old weekly update schedule I think that's happened twice, where someone ranked twice in between updates. Good luck at it =)

if thats true then you are even lucky to meet james, i would love to meet one of the NG ADMINs or one of the MODs they are all great people who i look up to.
