Stuff4u2kno, you have got to be the greatest contributer to the thread. That last link post kept me busy for around an hour, and it should hopefully put a dent in getting my diety whistle.

Well, I come here for the submissions, not so much for the forums (in fact, I usually avoid the forums like the plague) - so I never saw the thread explaining the whistling rules. Most of my forum posts are in P-Bot's daily postings.

I think this was counted as abusive ,because you attacked the author ,and other users because of the voting just a theory. You need to be so careful about not breaking the review guidelines. I had dozen of my reviews delted, so i learnt the hard way. You need to write the review and write about why you did not like this submisson, and not go and write things which are not related to it. Sorry i hope i not been offensive its just that i was trying to be helpful hope this helps.

I know that can be as well. I used to be just the same way until someone told me about the forums.

If you read the forums more you would know that's no longer the case. Thanks to the New whistle system anyone can get deity as long as they get past the set deity bar. Otherwise everyone would most likely be chasing after the top user in order to get deity Oh and even back then everyone could have deity as long as everyone had the same number of whistle points as the deity user.

One of the rules says you're not allowed to criticize if something was MANUALLY put in a special section by Newgrounds staff (eg. front page), but what about AUTOMATIC placement in a special section?

2) Is the reviewer allowed to respond to other people's reviews if he ALSO writes a good review at the same time, or is mentioning other people's reviews reason enough to mark that review as "abusive"?

I answered those here. You shouldn't have been told that you posted in the wring place, since you didn't.

You could say that the Flash is under-rated in your opinion, but you couldn't say that it deserves a lower score than the one it has.

Well it's kind of covered by these two rules:

"Do not use the review field to address other user's reviews you didn't agree with. You are to be reviewing the submission, not other people's reviews."

Except the reviewer's saying they don't agree with how others have voted, rather than how they've reviewed.

"If you think a submission doesn't belong on the front page of the site or sholdn't be featured in special sections of the site, keep it to yourself"

The score of a submission could fall into that section.
