Maybe yes, maybe no. If this was intended, I see no reason for it not to have been included when the whistle system was launched. But I am guessing there will be updates to teh whistle system.

The closest I've seen to actual discussion of how the whistle point system works, BTW, was recently posted by Wade, I believe in the 3rd page of the "No voting panel for submissions" thread.

In it, he warned against whistling movies you THINK won't load for everyone, but might actually just be your problem, and said that such a bad whistle would count in the negative direction about 10x as much as one correct whistle.

Well, I DID say "about 10x." I doubt he would have just pulled those figures out of his ass, they must have been nearly true. The point is that screwing up a whistle hurts you by at least a full digit's worth factor over successful whistles, and that's a bit unsettling to me at least.

Plus, he talks about the "weight" your whistles have depending on your level. And yes, not in specific terms, but I'd never seen him talk about that in ANY terms before, that's all I was stressing.
