Any chance there's gonna be any subawards like best pico voice, most original pico design etc. I reckon that would be pretty cool. Doesnt have to be a money prize (tho im sure he has more in that piggy bank of his) but something like a daily award type thing, that goes next to the submission when its opened.

Omg im doing a pico movie too! and flash keeps erroring and shutting down, so im not too happy, I'm saving every two seconds and then when I forget, it errors. Just wanted to share my grief.

ive had that before i was doing one of those weekly challenges and i had nothing else to do so was spending alot of time on it comp shut down and lost half my work so end result was crap.

mine only did it the once though.

sorry to double post but im sure that when i put my v-cam diagonally it would still show you what it saw so the background would be tilted if you know what i mean im sure it used to do that but it wont now it distorts it.

anyway in this scene it starts with pico adjusting a camera and you see it from the cameras veiw does anyone have any tips on how to do that i was going to use the cam but that wont work how i thought it would.

if you dont know what im on about then ill try explain better.

For the contest? I'm not too sure, but most likely. But I'm guessing that if you make two, BOTH of them can't win prizes.

ok if that doesn't work then how can you animate someone moving the camera about like you do when your centering it on yourself but from the view of the camera so pico and the whole room would be moving about.

One way, and the most practical and obvious I think is to just put everything in one MC/Graph and tween that about, using the canvas as your guide for the 'cameras lense'.

Another is you could get a different V-Cam, one made more recently specifically as a Flash 8 extension. His site crashed not so long ago, and then David Firth began hosting the extension for him at Fat-Pie. Check it out Heeeaarr.

Thats a very cool building, but sadly, I have no need for it. My animation, if it magically gets done in 2 months, is a chase/fight scene through outer space, no buildings, mostly rocks and stuff. :(

I really like it, I was honestly thinking of a Comic-Based kind of animation for my Pico, but now I can't fix that now can I? Heh. I'll think of something else ^^

There. Finnaly finished planning and storyboarding. But i still dont know what my main enemy will be. lol. I dont like the one i created. Anyway, animation will be undrway sometime next week. hopefuly i'll have something to show then.
