I see so it's not the same as the RCVL, i like this method it seems, fair apart from the potential lack of voting (all the inactive members) could leave the ammount of votes for a second member inachievable?

I scrapped that (for this election, at least). There will be two new members no matter how many votes the second one has.

BTW:

So far we've got 6 voters with 11 votes cast (one person only voted for 1 nominee). Plenty of time left, though.

Newgrundling, TheJoe, ramagi, and Denvish are the ones I'm thinking of).

So, I just wanted to explain myself quickly. I apologize for not keeping up, so congrats to everyone I have missed over the past month or so. Also, I apologize for not really keeping up as much as I should be in this forum.

I have been really busy saving money for university, plus trying to spend some time with all my freinds partying and what not while I can - before I move that is. It has just been a busy, but fun summer. Hopefully I will keep up more congratsing etc for the rest of the summer, but if not, I will be back again and dedicated come September when I move away and start school again.

Was it a long weekend in the US too, or just here in Canada? If so, I hope everyone had a fun drunken long weekend like I have been. : )

Inactive members will still receive voting reminders via e-mail Xiivi but all Retired members will not. This is because most of the retired members made a conscious choice to leave. So far nobody has ever been forced to retire.

Well gfox's Wi/Ht? member list was running long before the last election but this is the first time voting regulations will be imposed. If any of the retired members want to return I can't see a problem with it.

Not really. Whenever there's been an election in the past usually 10 to 12 members step up to the plate and vote. I never voted in the last election for my own reasons but I plan on voting in this one. All my nominations/votes will be decided before I send out the relevant e-mails.

This was definitely one of the most interesting elections I've ever held. First of all, only a fraction of the Wi/Ht? members participated in the first phase which had me more than worried about phase two. However, when the second phase finally rolled around most of the members started to crawl out of the woodwork and vote. Another thing I found odd was the person that I thought would be the longshot to win ended up getting the most votes. That's why I never gamble (lol). Anyway, my thanks to all of you who took the time to vote. I'm sure there's a few other people out there that appreciate your input.

Membership numbers will be decided by total votes. Ties will be broken by sign-up date. And the winners are...
