avie, you STILL think that Vince would build up Wade Barrett. No way in hell, I am telling you...I am the biggest Barret's fan here. Sadly, he was buried alive when Vince let his golden boy Cena destroy the whole Nexus by himself. When Barrett's career ends in a few years, people will be wondering what should have been instead of what a great world champion he is.

I think he absolutely should but yeah, for whatever reason Barrett is not a priority to them and they continue to damage his goods.

Sadly, he was buried alive when Vince let his golden boy Cena destroy the whole Nexus by himself.

Actually, Barrett was the only guy that was sort of protected during the Nexus debacle and came out of it the strongest of any of them by a long chalk. His having the worthless IC Title and zero push is what's hurting him now, he's just another heel that floats around the mid-card with little to no direction right now.

When Barrett's career ends in a few years, people will be wondering what should have been instead of what a great world champion he is.

We'll see. I haven't completely given up yet and Barrett is a great, great talent I think. It's very hard to deny talent when they're determined and the right opportunity comes along.

Just stopping by to say that Daniel Bryan might be one of the greatest we've ever seen. Thoughts?

He is a great competator and his on going battle with the shield is epic stuff and i love every minute of it, but i cant say he is the greatest especially not in the current generation as we already have the BEST IN THE WORLD CM Punk in wwe at the moment.

I think Daniel Bryan was the best WWE wrestler of 2012. He's someone who would definitely make my top 50 of all time.

I'd rather have a shittier name and have Daniel Bryan go back to the YES chants. That was fucking awesome.

I don't think they'll be together all that long. I really think Orton is Bryan's next big feud coming up here, he has been absolutely on fire of late.

That triple threat match for the intercontinental championship was awesome; Curtis Axel is definitely the son of Mr.Perfect, he has me won over as a fan.

Payback was pretty great. I went to bed before the Cena match, but enjoyed everything before it, bar the preshow which I didn't watch.

Del Rio vs Ziggler was particularly good. That was actually a double turn, yeah? Hammered home the Del Rio heel turn with all those crowd booing shots, but not sure about Ziggler.

W-wait, ADR back-to-heel turn after only a short time, and Ziggler face turn? Thewhothewhatthewhere? So can I assume that he ain't w/ AJ & Big E. anymore?

Basically, Ziggler was fighting on despite his recent concussion, while Del Rio repeatedly targeted his head, even when he was in the middle of being checked out by the doctors and such. He was given an out as the referee kept offering to end the match, but kept choosing to fight on.

Then ADR came back out and cut a promo about how brilliant he is and how he deserves the belt, while they kept cutting to shots of the crowd booing him.

We'll see if they've actually turned tonight or if it was just bad editing/scripting.

I hated the stable Ziggler was put under. I'm glad he's turning face - his heel character is getting beyond old at this point. But ADR turning heel again? I can't see why, and just like you said, after such a short time.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2013-06-22 12:24:04

I know ADR's better at being a heel, but the turn happened rather fast, didn't it? Considering Swag was out injured (unless that's the WWE's code for "He's taking that suspension you were expecting before now"), Dolph obviously couldn't fight him,so ADR was the only one left to play the part, I suppose, which necessitated a heel turn; it's the only way this makes any sense.

The World's Strongest Troll, ladies & germs. Seriously, that was the single greatest trolling in WWE history; Punk & Jericho must've been in shock & awe.

Very sad news as Matt Bourne was a guy who never got the recognition I think he should have as a really good worker and personality. He originated the gimmick and it's thanks to him largely that it's remembered so well

Sad to hear that Doink is gone. He was one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid.

On a different note though, I am ecstatic to hear that RVD is coming back! It makes me wonder why he left and why he's coming back though.

Why do they give a MITB contract to Sandow when there were 3 people (Ambrose, Cesaro, Rhodes) that deserved it more than he does?

Smackdown ladder match was awesome, rest was disappointing. Glad I didn't stay up for the Raw one.

Sandow I think is really good, but it's the usual WWE mindset of "let's treat him like shit until we decide he isn't". Orton to me feels like a case of "let's have another top guy cash in and lose to continue the idea that MITB is not a guaranteed title win".

They're great. The gimmick is unbelievable and Husky Harris (erm, I mean, Bray Wyatt) does a great job of backing it up with perfect segments and mic skills. I can't remember any gimmick ever being this satanic and it's just so fun to watch in the mix of everything.

Anyway, I had a lot more fun with this than I probably should have.

So who will win Summerslam?
