It was interesting to see NXT, Superstars and Smackdown taped one after the other. I got 3 shows for one ticket. It also explains how NXT actually gets people in the seats.

Now that it's Saturday, Smackdown was great. And the other shows before it had there moments (like everyone chanting "this is boring" during a Trent Beretta match).

Everyone went nuts when Edge's music started up and his tribute show was good to. Edge and Christian did the 5 second pose. Rhyno was there.

Isn't it crazy that even the Divas match was kind of fun?

Though of course my highlight was Mark Henry cutting a pretty damn good promo, I actually want him to win. Though after the TV credits Miz and Truth came out and tried to beat up on Orton (which he supermaned through), this ruined the moment for me and i'm glad they didn't show it on TV.

Goldberg's best match was his match against DDP from Halloween Havoc 1998.

Very European Claudio Castagnoli (if you don't already know him, google it you WWE/Impact watching bastards, I swear, y'all need more than WWE and TNA in your lives) has signed with WWE and is in FCW as Antonio Cesaro... No word on Chris Hero yet, but I doubt he has reached a deal or signed. or WWE doesn't want him at the moment. Who knows. Oh well, one half of KoW is better than none.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2011-09-18 08:34:16

The best thing about Goldberg is that it made it possible for Gilberg to exist. :P

I think the IC match between Cody and Ted could be a match of the night depending on how much time they get to work with. Both guys know each other well and can really bring their potential here in this match.

The four way U.S. title match could go any way. If they want to contiune having Ziggler and Swagger fued then it should go to Swagger.

I hope ADR is able to defend against Cena and keep the title.

I don't think that the WWE will take the WWE title off ADR at NotC, Cena will probably win by DQ.

Ive missed most of the PPV, atleast I made it for the final fight. But did I just read that Kelly Kelly won? if she doesn't get the crap beaten out of her tomorrow or turn heel they better do something damn fantastic. Seriously, what the fuck?

Nope. I knew he was texting Nash.

Well, half of my predictions were correct in that match.

Ok, so what the hell happened last night? I want to see how right I was about my predictions.

*notices kill343* Hey, long time no see.

Last Friday's SD:

The long-awaited DiBiase face turn has finally happened, and it was awesome! He's always had potential; he just rarely gets to use it, and sometimes the audience needs a reminder - and that was a major reminder.

Damn I miss Edge; so of course having him around for a night again was great.

For the first time, I noticed Khali got the 'chirping crickets' treatment from the audience.......

Henry had a Crowning Moment of Awesome that night, both with the promo & the well-sold destruction of half the roster. Granted, all smaller guys, but still well-sold.

All I can say is, the last match of the PPV was one of the biggest clusterfucks of a match I have ever seen. Just...wow.

I think a lot of it depends on the follow up tonight. They did a real good job of making sure it took the sun the moon and the stars to beat Punk. But if they don't follow it up right tonight and in the weeks to come, you have to feel it was a lot of craziness for nothing.

I kinda figured Punk would lose; it's entirely too soon for Trips' COO gimmick to end.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2011-09-19 22:58:40

I think it's a smart idea to keep Punk in the title hunt for now with the triple threat match, but teaming him up with Cena tonight is just awkward.

Also, stop being marks folks, there is no way Truth and Miz are fired, hell, being fired didn't stop John Cena, what makes you think it'll stop Awesome Truth?

Also, I am watching Best of Ring Of Honor Wrestling, Punk vs Alex Shelley.

I do love how some WWE fans get their panties in a knot over a little thing. It's obviously all part of kayfabe, and I'm honestly loving the mixed up plot and how things aren't just straight forward and predictable as some people seem to want it. This is like the first time wrestling has actually made my heart race when watching some of the story lines. The firing and backstage assault was pretty awesome in my book. Especially the "Get them out of my building!" by Triple H and I thought I heard someone say "I hate you!"

People whined about the overbooking at night of champion, to me it made perfect sense. I swear, WWE fans, sometime, remind me of Sonic fans.

Same here I am just loving it all. Also to celebrate the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. How about we look back at an old Hell in a Cell match.

The Six Man Hell in a Cell Match
for the World Wrestling Federation Championship

- Kurt Angle (WWF Champion)
- Triple H
- Stone Cold Steve Austin
- Rikishi
- The Rock
- The Undertaker

Damn is this one hell of a match. Just start here and keep going through each part. It covers a lot of stuff for this match as well as Hell in a Cell.

If you'd have told me a few years, or even a few months back, that Mark Henry would be the best thing on a wrestling show, I'd have thought you were insane.

Last night's Raw (SuperShow...) was good. I still think the ending to Night of Champions was a TNA-worthy clusterfuck, but at least Raw partially made up for it.

This has to be the start of building a new Corporation style faction for the heels. Has to be.

I would honestly put the belt on Punk at the next PPV and get hold off the rematch till the December show when you need buys. Then I transition back into a nice Punk/Alberto feud to head into Mania I guess. He should never have gotten the belt at this point. Now it just seems like even if he gets back in the title hunt by Mania it's going to seem like a somewhat underwhelming title match. I do believe though they need to put that belt back on Punk though and keep it there through Mania and really show the audience their behind him and get him into at least that no. 2 babyface spot.

No offence to CM Punk, but Mark Henry is easily the best wrestler in WWE right now. His match against Orton from Night of Champions was the match of the night and I really hope his World Heavyweight Title reign lasts until Wrestlemania 28.

You're fired... seriously, the leaps in logic you have too take to make a Mark Henry match halfway decent requires so much leaps in logic... or your just don't know any better. Henry was never really a good wrestler, he's lunky, uncoordinated and had so many injuries and chances that's this World Title run is gonna be like Kane's run. THere is no way in hell that Henry is better than Punk.

Kane isn't even in the same league as Mark Henry. The World's Strongest Man is more talented than The Big Red Machine in every single way. Punk is an afterthought right now, Henry is the hottest act in the company. Mark Henry Vs. Daniel Bryan would be epic if Henry's World Heavyweight Title reign lasts until Wrestlemania. You cannot deny that.

I think we're still sorting that out.

The World's Strongest Man is more talented than The Big Red Machine in every single way.

If we can point to Henry drawing money as champion, I shall agree. But right now I think Henry is the better monster, in part because he hasn't been as yo yoed as Kane has for the current audience. Most of Henry's shittiest matches and angles are well in the past, so the current audience is unaware of them and it's much easier to accept the current killer Mark Henry.

Punk is an afterthought right now, Henry is the hottest act in the company.

Ok, and here is where I get pissed off with some of your posting. Mark Henry is the champion of the B brand. CM Punk is challenging for the main title of the A brand. He headlined the last PPV, he is STILL involved in the top storylines on RAW, the A Brand. Punk has, and continues to draw money. Mark Henry with all due respect has not been shown to draw money or ratings. How about we pull our head out of the smart mark boards which do not seem to deal with reality, and start dealing with actual proven facts again? Pretty please?

Sure I can, because anything can be booked to be true garbage. Also Henry has been a great dominant monster lately. Booked right Henry vs. Bryan could be way better then a lot of people might at first think. But considering how little Bryan matters, I really wonder if he'll even challenge for the World title at Mania, or if he does that he won't just be killed by whoever the champion is.

Don't get me wrong. I am a fan of CM Punk but I feel HHH dragged him down badly in their feud and the match they had at Night Of Champions was ruined by the interferences.
