Much like the rest of you, the shit with Cena's bait-&-switch-twice pissed me off. >:( Was that some sort of a lame attempt at making the fixed "random" choosing not seem fixed? That was pure ass.

The only predictions I got right on the initial draft were Rey & Sin Cara switching sides for the sake of the latter. Orton & Del Rio switching was unexpected. One thing about that, though: This pretty much guarantees, like Duke said, that Christian WILL be the new World Champ at ER, since Del Rio winning would put both major titles on one show - which would screw SD royally.

Also didn't expect Mark Henry to go back to being a heel again, although most of his sucess has been from being one. Well, he WAS getting a good reaction when the face run first started, but he just hasn't gone anywhere since then for it to actually work. And after seeing what avie said about himprobably leaving soon, I guess he wants one last memorable run before he goes.

Only one day into it, and I already love Ron's heel persona. On top of his mic skills getting miraculously better (unless he was holding back for the sake of being a face or something), I felt like saying "STOP WITH THE "WHAT?" SHIT, ASSHOLES, AND LET THE MAN SPEAK!"

Cole spends the rest of his after-match commentating sounding like Swagger. :P BECAUSE J.R. DECKED HIM!!!!! You have to admit, that was a happy moment.

I don't care what new name she's going by; I will still be calling her "Kong" for a while, until I get used to "Karma".

As far as the Supplemental:

Daniel Bryan to SD: FUCK YEAH! First of the other 3 predictions I got right. So we can expect a Bryan/Barrett feud, most likely.

Ted DiBiase to SD: The second one I guessed, and a POTENTIALLY great move.

Sheamus to SD: .......Huh? Huh. Hopefully this won't mean Bryan wins the title, then Sheamus takes it off of him in a complete repeat of what we just had between them. Will be interesting to see where this goes.

McIntyre to RAW: So he's finally on the 'A' show, eh? I hope to hell this is a PUSH, and not undoing all their previous work with him.

Jacl Swagger to RAW: Like everybody else figured.

Kofi to RAW: Thank god, he can move FORWARD with his career, hopefully!

A-Ri to SD: Good for him, since he needs to be away from Miz to start actually establishing himself.

The rest: Hawkins & Ryder are on the same show again. And Ryder was ignored entirely. Dammit, WWE, unless you want to push him & Hawkins together again, do you realize the damage your ignoring him is doing?

I don't see Punk leaving yet.............I HOPE. I do understand where he's coming from, though.

Title hunts are a good way to go from a booking standpoint as there is less to mess up in the storyline. Granted they have indeed messed that up a few times but you get what I'm saying.

They book those titles like shit and it comes off like only a retarded moron would want them, and as badly as the champions tend to be booked, to where they lose all the time in non-title matches, if they beat you, then congratulations! You're an even bigger pile of shit then a pile of shit.

I'm not trying to bad mouth Shaemus or Barrett's work specifically, or even the work of the last few holders of both belts, but the simple fact is they are booked badly as hell and the average fan doesn't take them, or their title holders seriously. The IC belt is held in marginally higher regard, so why not try to create a buzz on a B PPV by doing a unification match here, and then see if you can't build the unified belt up more while still keeping the world titles strong.

I liked yesterdays Smackdown, Randy orton made a great promo and most of the matches were good. I also hope that Extreme Rules is good fun this Sunday.

Um...how has nobody mentioned that CHRISTIAN IS THE FRICKING WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!? Best match of the night by far, and this PPV was better than most people were giving it credit for.

Also Cena won again blah blah blah, destiny to be champion at WM 28 blah blah blah, Morrison-R Truth feud is the most interesting thing to come out of the cage match.

But Bin Laden's also dead so Cena being champion is at least balanced out with some good news.

Definitely my favorite PPV this year, with only a few things bugging me about.

Punk should have won. He needed it more, and when he is unhappy with his role and has the ability to leave soon if he so chooses, WWE should have just gave him one.

STOP LETTING COLE WIN. The gimmick is stale and you are beating a dead horse. No one likes this feud. Just fucking end it.

Everything else was pretty great. The tag match was just eh, but all the other matches totally out shine it and makes it easy to over look. Falls Count Anywhere and the Ladder Match were the best I think.

Honestly, I've heard it's more about the travel. I don't blame WWE for taking the tact that if you don't have a contract, you aren't going over a top guy on PPV. That said, I believe WWE should do everything in their power to keep Punk on the roster, they absolutely need a talent like him around.

STOP LETTING COLE WIN. The gimmick is stale and you are beating a dead horse. No one likes this feud. Just fucking end it.

I agree it needs to end soon. I think there's still some gas here and some different places to go (like a Swagger face turn). I think the next PPV though, with a big stipulation that basically guarantees Cole gets destroyed so this gets blown off is the way to go.

I followed via report and I just cannot believe they threw that tag match on there when I read the finish. If it was about switching the titles quickly and trying to elevate the Corre, ok. But to throw this out there and go "ok, going to make the IC champion and his group look that much more incompetent", that was stupid.

Heels rarely win last man standing matches. I am happy that the feud is finally over with Orton now on SD! which means that Punk can enter the "rebuild" mode ASAP.

We both know that Cole will end up with getting his candy ass whipped, so why not doing it in a big stage like WM? Well, they have missed that.

I am struggling to find a heel challenger for Christian, take a look:
ADR: moved to RAW
R Truth: feuding with Morrison
Wade Barrett: dead and buried
Mark Henry: meh
Rhodes: just lost to Rey
Who do you think will take the title from Christian?

On Smackdown, they're going to build up either Mark Henry or Sheamus as the next challenger. Henry based on size alone can appear to be a daunting task to take on for someone the size of Christian (even though he was jobbing just a few months ago) and Sheamus losing the US Title could possibly be a set up for him to return to the main title hunt. Normally I'd include Barrett, but they're still working on the Corre breakup angle which they should just get over and done with.

COLE WON AGAIN!?!?!?!?!? RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait, Slater & Gabriel have the titles again, Then what the hell was the point with ShowKane winning them off of them in the first place?

Christian, no offense, but you owe Edge one, here. WWE would most likely continue to ignore you, despite what we & the rest of your fans think, had he not retired. Unfortunate, but it's the truth.

That's easy: Big Zeke. Not only is he the only Corre member without a title (if they still keep them together for whatever reason), but, well, do I really need to explain the ECW history?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2011-05-02 20:56:35

I think it's either Henry or Sheamus, and I have a feeling it'll be Henry up to bat first because they'll want to give Christian a little time to enjoy the belt and see what he does for the ratings and what not. I see Henry being rebuilt here, but not getting the belt. I think they'll have Sheamus continue to rebuild and re-enter that hunt towards the end of the summer and I think Sheamus ultimately takes the belt.

Cena must have mentally implanted the image into the ref's head to prove he isn't just superman, but he's a fucking mutant too!!!

I have this really awful suspicion that the only reason they took the belt off Miz was so they could get that stare down with The Rock and have Cena say "now it'll be for the belt at Mania". But honestly? Unless Cena is going to reign straight till then (and I think that would be a mistake) the fuck is the point of doing this now? It seems like already WWE is trying to rush the build on something that is still almost an entire year away.

Random thoughts about tonight.

-After missing Riley clothesline Cena, and Miz hitting him with the briefcase, the ref sees the belt in the ring after the match and ONLY THEN assumes, even after not seeing it himself, that there was foul play. WWE made the refs though process look like the following:

"Hey! What's that there belt doing inside of this here ring? Why I detect shenanigans, and you all know how much I dislike shenanigans! Up until now nothing's been out of place in the match but this peculiarity is too much evidence to ignore. Reverse the decision!"

-The feat of Miz kicking out of the AA is diminished when you still try to have him win dirty. Looks like WWE still has no plans to make him look like a true championship contender.

-I want Kharma's finisher to be called what it is: The Breast/Boob/Tit Smasher

-Drew was probably too scared to help Kelly Kelly because he might get beat up by a woman.

-Great Khali is job squad confirmed with the tooth fairy outfit.

-Thank God for the draft switching things up. Oh look, a match with all previous Smackdown guys.

-Rey will never lose a match against a heel unless it's in a PPV will he?

-Del Rio vs Cena will have to wait until after Rey vs Del Rio. Mexican pride outweighs title shots.

-Ziggler needs his bleach blond hair back. Can't you see he's dead on the inside right now WWE?

-A potential push for Mason Ryan soon? As long as you realize that counting on people being impressed with the sight of him bringing down big guys like Kane and Big Show as his sole gimmick in matches won't be a good idea in the long run...who am I kidding, this is going to be just like the Corre again with Ryan instead of Ezekiel Jackson isn't it?

Jeez that was a cynical post.

I agree. Stupid as hell. Man I so didn't want another Cena title run. Just for a Rock stare down and a claim that he'll have it at the next Mania? Look I understand that they want to build this up as much as they can and will continue to do so for the rest of the year, but I really hope Cena doesn't keep it the whole time. Maybe Cena and Del Rio can fued for the belt.

Good to see Kofi with the US gold. Hopefully he'll have a good run with it.

Which is why I hate the idea of another year long Cena reign. It turns the main event scene into a glass ceiling and people like ADR, Miz, Punk, and Morrison are going to be stuck.

Seriously WWE, if you just announced the result of every WWE title match from here to next WM, I won't even bother watching.

They said on raw that it's been almost a year since he last held the title, honestly it hasn't felt long enough. He should focus on being the next flair or michaels. He's getting to the point where he should not need titles to be at the top of the mountain. If he improves his in ring performance and his persona, i think he could move to that next stage in his career.

John Cena has entered the level where he by himself is a belt. I understand he has to want to go after it every now and again because if the top guy doesn't want to be the champion, then nobody should want to be champion. But the problem to me is you shouldn't really be giving it to him at the expense of building other guys, and when you put him into 3 ways and what not that gives you the out to not let Cena have that belt, but still look strong. I will say that was the best match of the night, and I'm glad they really seemed to be trying to make Miz look good and like he could go...but the finish was bad because it leads to an absolutely horrible idea.
