So WWE didn't go the Superman route this time. Looks like whoever is writing the Nexus angle is so far doing it right. But again I think it's time for some singles action. They can't do everything as a group through the entire thing. Plus doesn't Barrett still have a title shot?

So Mark Henry will take R-Truth's place in MITB. I guess thats ok. It gives him something to do at least.
Any guesses on who will win the match? I'd like to see the title shot go to someone who hasn't won it yet, like Morrison, but with guys like Orton, Edge and Jericho in there it makes that tough.

F4WOnline.com is reporting that Aaron "Idol" Stevens has signed a developmental contract with WWE.

Stevens was involved in WWE's developmental system for years, including a small stint on SmackDown. He was eventually released and has spent the last two years working for the WWC promotion.

Good to see this kind of notice instead of a release.

I think it's one of those three guys, because it seems like WWE is intent on not only gimmicking up the PPV's, but completely ruining the gimmick in the process. So of course we'll see a guy win the briefcase that doesn't deserve it or need it.

I'm a punk fan and am in no way gay for him...I just really enjoy his work and think he's a great performer. I guess I see why they pulled the mask off, because after last week there had to be some fear that "oh crap, we might be confusing people and turning him face when we don't want to" but really? They probably should have saved the unmasking for a PPV. If you're going to do something people might want to see, especially with what the MyNetwork situation is, then make them pay for it.

On the Raw side of things I'd like Morrison to win, but I think it will be Orton. There are just too many main event guys to overlook. On the SD side the only one to have been world champ for a lengthy time is Big Show. Kane has been champion but it was a 24 hour run. (Not counting the ECW title) Storyline wise Kane may prove to be the guy to win but I think it will be Drew McIntyre. Though to be honest I'll be rooting for Matt Hardy.

If we go by the thought that MITB is where the youth are given a chance to shine, then you'd think that Kane, Show, Orton, Y2J and the likes are unlikely to win. On the Smackdown side, I must admit I would really like Christian to win, but I know that is unlikely... I'd guess McIntyre is most likely to win, but I would like Kofi, also.

For the Raw match, I'd say Miz is likely to win, but I'd like Bourne get a chance to shine. Either way, I think it's likely that this could be the first time someone cashes in and loses. The announcers have made a big thing of the fact that no one has ever cashed in and lost, and if there's one thing we know about wrestling, it's that if they make a point of something, the opposite will often happen.

Anyway, MITB matches are unpredictable, and anyone can win (Like Swagger at WM?!?), but they always end up being exciting matches, so I'm looking forward to that.

And now the other matches:

On the women's matches, I'm not too bothered about them, but I do like Kelly Kelly, so I wouldn't mind her winning. It's not like the titles mean anything anyway, so it wouldn't cheapen them, it would just brighten up my Friday nights somewhat...

The way Rey has been booked as the underdog, one would assume he will win. The match has been so stacked against him, and we know that Rey always wins when he has the odds so ridiculously against him.

I really hope Sheamus wins the cage match. I couldn't stand another Cena title reign, and he has his issue with the Nexus to occupy him.

Haha that was AWESOME! I was right on the money (pun intended). I'm glad a veteran like Kane has won the World title. It's been too long since he was a world champion. I remember when him and Edge had a feud over the WWE title (I believe it was 2007 or 2008) I wanted Kane to win the title so bad. Well that didn't happen and Kane was out of the title picture for the longest time. So I'm glad he finally won the title after being neglected for so long!

And it's also pretty cool that he holds the record for cashing in the briefcase in the shortest time (1 hour I believe). But I have a feeling that record will be broken tonight. I believe the Raw MITB winner will also cash in their briefcase tonight. Reason being, the Nexus will destroy whoever is still champion after the steel cage match. My prediction for the Raw MITB winner? It's tough to say. I say Even Bourne. Either way, the winner will cash it in tonight.

Miz has improved greatly and continues to improve. He has until Wrestlemania now to develop into something. Would you rather they waste the contract on somebody who didn't need yet another title match and could easily get one? I have no problem with how this was executed.

Yeah, he's definitely at the end of the road, from a short term storyline perspective I like it because Kane is the man that is going after everyone on the roster and now has the one thing everyone on the roster wants. But unfortunately this seems to telegraph to me that when Taker comes back from his injury that it's going to be revealed Kane took him out and then Taker will be gunning for the belt. I love Taker, he's my favorite of all time, but it's time to move on. His best runs are over, and he's easily winding down. If he's in this kind of situation then it should be to me to try and make a young champion and get him to that next level. With Kane? Where's the get? Unless the idea is to either help build Kane with a Taker win so he can transition the belt to a CM Punk or someone else young that they want to headline....or he's there to lose it to Taker and that is the transition. But to me I feel like the SD! title picture might be hurt slightly in the short term by having a couple transitional champs until we hit the guy that's going to lead it forward.

Khali and Bret Hart? I understand that they want to get Bret back in the story, but he shouldn't be wrestling, since you know, how he isn't physically able. It would have made more sense to have Evan Bourne and Yoshi Tatsu since they were both attacked last week along with Morrison. Have the Nexus even been involved with Khali in anyway?

I won't lie though, the Raw MITB match is my favorite of this year so far. It was fast pace and full of spots that were just awesome. I think Bourne hitting Airborne immediately after the RKO was my favorite. Overall the ladder matches were the best, the title matches were okay. The only thing that really stands out is Sheamus kicking out of the attitude adjustment.

I'm happy with Miz winning the brief case. I think him having both that, and the US title will do wonders for him. Hopefully he won't be the first to lost after cashing it in, but to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised, with the way they have booked him in the past and all. I think out everyone in the match, he and Morrison were the most deserving to win, and I am pleased one of them won.

I'm good with the results of the PPV. Kane has been long overdue for a title run. Sure it will probably lead him and Taker into a fued over it but hey, I'm still happy to see the dude with some gold.

Miz winning was a suprise but I'm glad they went that route. He's good at hyping himself up and if they allow him to build it up for a good bit of time then it will be better. He may end up being the first to lose the title shot but then again he could very well be a future main event guy.

Looks like Orton will be in the title hunt for the time being. It will be interesting to see where this Nexus stuff will go.

As much as I love everyone who has held the ECW Championship (CM Punk, Matt Hardy, Kane, Christian), it really isn't considered a world title to me. I mean, I consider it more of an "intercontinental type" championship. Even Michael Cole said "it's been over a decade since Kane's been a world champion". Basically he overlooked Kane's ECW title reign. Or it's not considered a "world title" in the WWE's eyes.

Either way, I'm glad Kane finally won the World Heavyweight Championship. It's been way overdue. Interesting fact : Kane is the first individual to win the World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Championship, and ECW Championship. Technically the first was big show but he won his World Heavyweight Championship while he was signed to WCW.

The ECW title seemed to actually be less valuable than the IC and US title at one point.. the times when Mark Henry and Chavo were holding it to be exact.

Man, last nights RAW was pretty good.. although Hart isn't exactly a wrestler anymore, I marked the fuck out when his entrance music played! i seriously did not see that coming at all. The RAW team looks pretty good, though if it were up to me, I would switch Khali with Evan Bourne.. but I have a feeling Bourne will get the US strap soon.. it would make sense for Bourne to have it, it would give him a big push and it would prepare Miz for the world title scene.

but yeah, Khali?... I guess they need a "big threat" (no pun intended) in the team.. but still it's good to see guys like jericho, edge and cena all working together as they've all pretty much been against eachother for the majority of their careers.
