Ok, back again. FINALLY got around to watching some of the RAW after WM, even though it's pretty outdated now. Still keeping it, though, since it contains Shawn's farewell address.

Now, onto SD:

Once again, Punk is ridiculously clever. Not only are his haters denied the satisfaction of seeing him bald, he's essentially giving Rey a giant middle finger.

Rey & Taker put on an excellent match. It was awesome when Rey kicked Taker right when he was about to sit up - you usually never see something like that.

Drew continues to be possibly the biggest douche the franchise has ever seen. Eventually, I expect Teddy to pull something that makes Drew unable to keep using Vince to get his way........not sure what, but something.

.......Ok, really there's not much else of note about SD that night compared to RAW, so I might as well talk about NXT a minute. So Jericho's rookie won.......I expect him to do a fuckton of gloating about it during next week's RAW. I also expect Daniel Bryan to be hired full-time on RAW, just to keep this Bryan/Miz/Cole thing going - honestly, it's the best thing Cole could have ever hoped for. I also expect Otunga to return somewhere, like him or not, as well as Christian's rookie whose name has temporarily escaped me.

As far as the newest lineup of rookies..............WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY TREATING THE SON OF MR. MUTHAFUCKING PERFECT THAT WAY!?!?!?!?ONE!?!?!?ELEVEN!?!?!?!? That is an insult of untold proportions. I expect Miz' new rookie to further the feud w/ Bryan somehow, whether he's a face or a heel. Kaval.............that's Senshi, right? (Or are Low Ki & Senshi two different guys? Correct me.) If so, nice to see him there. Now if only they, as avie said, could get Christopher Daniels a contract (or a spot on NXT 3), we could get a nice little reunion.

Honestly, Ron has been doing quality matches ever since he's been there as R-Truth. He has the crowd in the palm of his hand, almost, so I expect that rocket to remain strapped to him for quite a while.

I still haven't seen this new tag team yet, I'm working off of reading the results. So Rikishi's sons are in WWE now huh? Cool.

Yup. And they've already made one hell of an impact in just two nights, including an awesome triple-Superfly-style Splash on all three Harts at the same time. Quite the sight - both Rikishi & Jimmy should be extremely proud.

Punk may not have the belt, but he's easily SD's top heel right now. If I was WWE I'd throw the belt on him at Fatal Four Way since it'll be a good excuse to pull the belt off Swagger without having to make him look weak as it's obvious he's not ready for that run and they don't want to present him as credible so why not flip the belt to Punk and let him feud with the brands babyfaces giving them the perfect excuse to immediately move Swagger out of the title picture.

Rey & Taker put on an excellent match. It was awesome when Rey kicked Taker right when he was about to sit up - you usually never see something like that.

You don't...let's see how good you feel about the match and all that after Friday....great match, but the consequences were really suck for us and again I have to wonder how much longer my main man wants to keep subjecting himself to the abuse.

Drew continues to be possibly the biggest douche the franchise has ever seen. Eventually, I expect Teddy to pull something that makes Drew unable to keep using Vince to get his way........not sure what, but something.

I really hope so because in talking to people it seems already my biggest fear is coming true: Drew is getting the kind of heat where it's like "get this poser off my tv" and that's not the heat you want on a guy. There's a way to do this "Chosen One" gimmick and not make Drew look like a whiney puss and they're right now going down the road of whiney puss I think.

.......Ok, really there's not much else of note about SD that night compared to RAW, so I might as well talk about NXT a minute. So Jericho's rookie won.......I expect him to do a fuckton of gloating about it during next week's RAW.

I was absolutely glad Barrett won as he was the guy that SHOULD have won once they decided it wasn't going to be Daniel Bryan. I really was afraid they'd give it to Otunga simply because of who he was married to but they did the right thing here. I also enjoyed the pros doing some worked shoot bits at the end of the thing as well.

Heath Slater. I tend to agree, I would like to see Bryan transition this more into a feud solidly with Miz as going after an announcer isn't going to help him long term I think. I expect Heath and Otunga to be used somewhere down the line as well, and probably some or all of the other rookies as well (at least on a trial basis). I think the guys you mentioned are the guys that stood out for me the most on NXT and I personally saw the most in.

As far as the newest lineup of rookies..............WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY TREATING THE SON OF MR. MUTHAFUCKING PERFECT THAT WAY!?!?!?!?ONE!?!?!?ELEVEN!?!?!?!? That is an insult of untold proportions.

Yeah, I understand they want to trademark names and all but this was just ridiculous. Harry Smith is working with essentially his real name on RAW. Why the hell could Hennig not wrestle with his name? Or hell, as Dave Scherer suggested why not just call him "The Ax" or "Ax" in deference to his grandfather and then you're at least paying homage to the legacy. This isn't just insulting, it's flat out dumb marketing.

I expect Miz' new rookie to further the feud w/ Bryan somehow, whether he's a face or a heel.

I like that idea personally. I think if WWE really wants to start making this show matter for people and to get something out of it they need to have the rookies on the big shows interacting more with their pros, especially if the pro/rookie relationship is portrayed on the show as a positive one. The goal in the end is to get these guys over right? So use every tool available to you to do it.

Kaval.............that's Senshi, right? (Or are Low Ki & Senshi two different guys? Correct me.) If so, nice to see him there. Now if only they, as avie said, could get Christopher Daniels a contract (or a spot on NXT 3), we could get a nice little reunion.

Kaval is indeed Low Ki/Senshi. You are correct sir.

Honestly, Ron has been doing quality matches ever since he's been there as R-Truth. He has the crowd in the palm of his hand, almost, so I expect that rocket to remain strapped to him for quite a while.

The guy has ability and this I think is a very good and useful role for him to be in. I don't feel he'll ever be a headliner, but a multi-time US Champion sure isn't out of the question.

Oh fuck I knew I forgot something - Curt Hawkins' return alon with this Vance Archer guy. I admit, Curt could very well successfully reinvent himself, here, and Archer isn't a slouch, either. At least ONE of the two former Major Bros. might actually get somewhere.

Yeah, unfortunately, Swagger just isn't carrying it as well as he could. He's had some moments, but yeah, either Show or Punk could use the title - personally, I want Show to have a run.

Uh-oh..............what the fuck did Mr. Calloway do to himself this time? It looked like he was doing great last week compared to the several previous times before; he didn't hit his leg with his fist or even limp the whole time.

Drew continues to be possibly the biggest douche the franchise has ever seen. Eventually, I expect Teddy to pull something that makes Drew unable to keep using Vince to get his way........not sure what, but something.

It's definitely getting there. I'm certain Teddy will do something, and most likely Matt Hardy will take advantage & beat the living shit out of him as only a Hardy can, heh heh.

Ah yes, Heath.

Actually, I hope the angle with Cole happens for a little while longer, just because it's the most anyone's ever seen out of him. His insults may be stupid (and possibly hypocritical), but the fact that he's finally throwing caution to the wind is a refreshing change.

Btw, is it just me, or did Daniel use the Crippler Crossface?

I almost get the feeling they won't even acknowledge his relation to Mr. Perfect with a name that stupid. And that flat-out fucking sucks.

Jericho has been named a host for a new TV game show. You can read about it here.

I wonder how he will manage shooting this while being on Raw? I guess the low number of episodes is what will do it.

Wow. I just went to WWE.com and decided to take a look at that "Where are they now?" section. They've added quite a bit more since last time I looked. They have an entry for the Mean Streen Possie! I've got to read that one.

It's not what Taker did. Let's be clear. I think yeah Taker was looking really good in there up to that point and they did obviously go to the now patented "work the damaged leg to explain Taker's slow down" he looked like the rest was doing him good. This injury was totally and completely unrelated to his hip problems but is a damn nasty one none the less. I really don't want to talk more about it for a couple reasons:

1. It will be addressed on SD! tonight and it could constitute spoilers

2. It was first reported as an elite item at PWInsider and I don't recall it making the "general" news rounds yet and I imagine it hasn't because they were waiting for SD! to air and WWE to acknowledge and begin to deal with the situation and then it will become general knowledge what happened. So I try to stick to the terms I agreed to and not post news or things I learned on elite verbatim unless somebody here or on another site incorrectly "outs" that item.

Ooch...Taker got a concussion, a broken nose, and a broken orbital bone(eye socket). Poor Marky.
Awww. Poor Kane looks sad. It makes me sad to see him sad.
But really. Kane does not cry. For his freakin' step-brother. Well...he probably would, if he died. But still. VEGETATED STATE. REALLY, WWE? REALLY? Anyway. Yeah. ANOTHER HIATUS. WHEEEEE
Man, Kane is freaking emo-ing out right now. (I record)
HEHHEHEHEHEHEHEH
That's what Kane did. DEMENTED MUCH
I CANNOT FATHOM THIS RAGE
GAAAAAAAAAAGH
YEEEEEESSS THERE WILL BE VENGEANCE!!!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH
I love Kane. But goddamn, it made me embarassed when he fell down and started crying. I mean, he's the dude who kidnapped and tortured Runjin Singh. He's the dude who made a big 'ol 20 foot high flame years ago when he still had a mask. *sigh*

Geez, how the fuck did Taker get all THAT done to him? Was he in a friggin' car wreck?

Dammit, they just COULDN'T let Kane have even a crack at the title, could they? How long has he been there with the company? What about all of the memorable moment's he's had? So, when the PERFECT opportunity to finally let him have his shot at his FIRST World Heavyweight Title, nope, sorry. FUCKING BULLSHIT.

*takes a minute to regain his composure*

I missed the first 18 o so minutes, but luckily they replayed the Kane bit........damn, that might have actually been the most disturbing moment in his career.... Now, who will they have say "I did it."?

I watched Superstars the other day, just out of boredom and Matt Stryker actually made me realise something.
There was a handicap match on, Christian vs Chavo Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler
During the match Stryker brought up how the little pairing is actually a reunion with Kerwin White and Nick Nemeth.. I didn't realise it until he said that.. weird

Also it was funny to see Cole try to explain Primo's heel turn without getting Carlito involved in the story
he even took quite a big pause while explaining which forced King to ask Cole what he's doing.. Vintage WWE.

Agreed, WWE should take this opportunity at Fatal Four Way to give him the belt and push him as SD!'s top heel going forward.

Rey Rey in a main event spot again? I guess since it's a four way he won't have to work too hard but considering here's a guy that supposed to be working on a bum wheel and WWE is having so much bad luck with injuries right now they really seem to be risking the crap out of a commodity at present here. Not to mention he's having a lot of accidents with people lately.

As far as who did it? Oh it'll probably turn out to be Kane or something...since they'll most likely want to give Taker a feud he can win when he gets back and Kane is usually a pretty good tackling dummy for that.

That's actually the first thing that popped into my brain - since we all know Kane's mentally disturbed to begin with. Also, if Taker does decide to finally hang it up, I can't think of a better person he could feud with than Kane.

Happened in the match with Rey Mysterio last week. Guess Rey accidentally bashed him on a springboard or something.

****SPOILER ALERT****
It probably won't be Kane, I remember seeing this a little while ago so they probably planned this story ahead of time

Here's the updated card for the WWE event at Madison Square Garden on June 19th, 2010:

John Cena vs. Sheamus for the WWE Championship
The Big Show vs. Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship
The Undertaker & Kane vs. CM Punk & Luke Gallows (w/Serena)
Randy Orton vs. Edge
Mark Henry vs. The Miz for the United States Championship
Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship

Don't take that lineup too seriously. They tend to advertise house show events like that early to bring in the crowd. You could be right but they have booked stuff like that before. They also always add that the card is subject to change so I would imagine that Taker won't be at that show due to injury.

It kinda sucks that they just skip over Kane these days for the main event, I would have liked to have seen him in the fatal four way. Granted he's there to help others get over these days, but he is still a guy people root for.

I thought I saw Taker bleeding from the mouth; I wondered why the refs didn't immediately halt the match, but it could've been hard to notice, esp. when the lights dimmed.

Oh dear, hope Rey doesn't take this too hard...... >.<

I think the problem with Kane is how he's been booked since the mask came off. Nobody buys Kane as a headliner right now and it's pretty obvious that on the RAW side they loaded their match with all the names on the brand. So Smackdown! has to do the same.

Do I respect Kane and what he has done and what he brings? Absolutely I do. He's worked really hard, he got a tremendous opportunity and gift when Paul Bearer and Taker went to Vince and said "let's add this guy to the act" and he worked hard and took a role that easily could have been done shortly after Wrestlemania 14 and has now carved out a solid little niche for himself. But the problem is he's never gotten over the hump.

He's just not a headliner and I blame the way WWE booked him after the mask came off, at first he was being booked as a killer and destroying people and then he's in a feud with Shane McMahon...and Shane is booked as either equal to, or better then Kane in every situation. It just killed his aura. Then they just kept swapping him between shows and going face/heel/face/heel, start/stop/start/stop on his pushes to the point that he doesn't really matter anymore and probably can't ever again. Plus they're all about the future now (or so they say) and Kane is definitely not the future.

Hey it's time for a few "news" bits I've found!

From wrestlezone.com:

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Jeff Hardy's trial resumed yesterday. While there has been no released information concerning what took place, the twice pushed back trial has resumed. More information on this developing story as it becomes available.

Not too much to say on this. We'll have to see what happens.

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

It's being reported that WWE Smackdown star Kane is expected to receive a huge push in the coming weeks. One source within WWE says Vince McMahon was extremely pleased with his promo on Smackdown and the reaction he received. Although there were rumors regarding Kane's disinterest in winning the world title, apparently those rumors were false and Kane himself denied the claims.

Take it as a rumor, but if they are going to be serious and give Kane one last try then I'm all for it.

It's also being reported that Chris Jericho is expected to take time off after his feud with R-Truth. This may or may not have to do with the announcement that Jericho will be hosting an upcoming game show on ABC.

I would love to see Kane get one final push, if they actually put the belt on him that would be great too. I really hope Chris isn't gone as long as he was last time, he does have a great personality to host a show though, I'll have to check it out.

The Moore County, North Carolina officials have dropped a number of charges against Jeff Hardy, according to a report on PWTorch.com.

The charge of a felony possession of cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for redistribution of controlled substances have been dropped, as well as the misdemeanor possession of drug paraphenalia charge.

Hardy is however still facing a conspiracy to traffic opium charge, which was added back in January.

Hardy is scheduled to return to court on July 6.

Looks like Hardy might walk away from this without much trouble.

According to my sources there are two directions the World Title picture could go in right now, one seemingly being leaned on more heavily. Neither involves Kane as champion. Neither mention Kane as challenger but one of them would leave the door open to that as a possibility I think.

Yes. I hope you didn't really shave it bald. I may have to report you. :P

Favorite face: Matt Hardy

Favorite heel: Jericho

Favorite tweener: Hmm... I'm not sure about this. If it was a little furtehr back I'd have said Jericho. I don't have an answer for this one.

F4WOnline.com is reporting that Evan Bourne's recent push on Raw was mainly due to John Cena approaching management, including Vince McMahon, and telling them that they were not utilizing Bourne to his full potential on Raw and that they were in danger of dropping the ball with him. Officials then made the decision to push Bourne on Monday night's and they began by teaming him with Cena.

Additionally, it's being said that another reason why Bourne is being pushed in because with guys like Daniel Bryan and Kaval possibly getting main roster spots in the near future, WWE wants fans to get accept smaller guys as potential main event players.

Favorite face: Tie between John Morrison and Kofi Kingston. These two are my overall favorites wrestlers.

Favorite heel: CM Punk. No doubt about it. Fun fact, my boss hung out with him a couple of times when they were in high school though a mutual friend. He went to go see Punk at and indy show, and Punk still recognized him.

Favorite tweener: I don't consider Orton a full face, so I'll go with him. I couldn't stand the guy when I started watching again in high school, but I really like him now.

ok
face: It was Bryan Danielson, but I don't really know if he is anymore after he spat on the top babyface.. another one would be Christian
heel: Jericho or Ziggler
tweener: the only tweener i can think of right now is Vladamir Kozlov.. and I can't really say that I'm a fan..

anyways, what did you guys think of NXT season 2? I was a bit upset that they didn't show a lot of the new rookies in action as much as season 1's debut show.. specially since they barely showed Kaval on the show
But I think both Percy Watson and Husky Harris showed alot of good.. I liked Harris' Senton and his agility for a guy his size, also I liked Percy's flowing DDT finisher.. and he does have charisma.. but did anybody notice that he kept making this face?.. as if he was going to cry or something.

On the fence about Titus O'Neil.. didn't see much from him.. Cottonwood seems like the typical giant type.. slow moving and limited moveset.. also he resembles Khali too much.. give him a haircut or trunks to make him look different.

but this season seems to have more promising wrestlers.. Kaval is great, Alex Riley seems like a good personality, Hennig (I refuse to call him McGullicutty right now) seems pretty good.. I was surprised that he was acting like a face though.. seems like more of a heel to me. They will be your final 3.. I'm counting on it.

At this point I'm more interested to see what they do with the NXT angle from Monday as that was a great angle to end the show and it could really become something. I did not catch NXT Season 2's opener because I'm kind of honestly burnt by the concept unless I see some major improvement and I honestly don't think we will since it seems to me the point here is to kill the rest of that time till SD! takes over on SyFy

Yeah, I gave up watching by 2 minutes after the first match began. I went to take pictures of my Punk Kitty. I found a pretty evil-looking one, but I'll take one with a mouse to make it look better.
