What's funny here is it proves WWE did not think of that Iron Man bout in advance. Because originally they said the winners of the nights matches went to the big tag bout. But with Cena and Orton having to go 60 minutes, there's no way the winner of that was gonna be able to go again. Sloppy WWE.

Raw was ok last night. Not going to lie, I totally laughed at HBK's answering machine bit. The highlight was Bourne vs Kofi. These guys need more screen time, they could easily steal any PPV. Also Morrison vs Miz was announced, hopefully the match will be nothin short of spectacular and will make both champs looks strong.

Speaking of looking strong, the seven on seven match is a great opportunity to have the top guys of yesterday and today to make the top contenders of the future look credible. I hope they do so.

Yeah right. They will be there to be beaten up by the older top guys. Its a good thing this isn't elimination rules or I'd say that they would be eliminated first and early.

I'm glad that WWE is going to go ahead with a Miz/Morrison match. We never got one when they split and now that they are both singles champions this will make for a very interesting match. I think if they are given time that they will pull off one hell of a bout.

I have to admit it as well. The HBK answering machine bit was funny. Him singing his outgoing message made me chuckle.

It makes me wish wrestling was still a business of slow builds though. I think they could have had Miz and Morrison encounter each other at a few PPV's, maybe get a few cheap shots in (verbally and physically), and really build up some bad blood between them. Maybe have them attack the other on their own show.

Get it to a point where the GMs of either brand are forced to make a match between them. Play up the fact there is a brand split, but say the only way to stop them going onto shows they aren't meant to is to have a grudge match at a PPV.

Wishful thinking is bad though, because WWE creative are bad and only plan a few weeks ahead. And they don't really have to have an attention span because they cater to 5 year ol- oh look a squirrel.

Saw Big Show in a purple spandex just now on Youtube and it didn't make any sense. Would one of you be kind enough to quickly go over anything important that's happened in the last year or so? Thanks in advance.

You have a place for actual typed comments at the end, let's try not to act like smarks or assholes in that guys so that maybe they will actually listen and try to change up the product a little. But maybe not, at least we can say we've taken the opportunities when presented.

Is it just me, or was there an underlying theme on this RAW? Of course, I mean "DESTROY TAG TEAMS!!! DESTROY!!! DESTROYEEEE!!!!!". Luckily, it wasn't just a random tag-team-destroying setup, it was somewhat sensible - Legacy is to be nuked soon anyway, and it was only a matter of time before Show showed (lol) Jericho who was the actual bitch on the team. :P (OMFG, SURPRISEZ!!)

Seconded on both accounts. Those 2 can really put on one hell of a match.

About time this happened.

Cap. Lou Albano has passed away. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Raw Results: Here.

I wonder why they screwed Mickie James like that? Makes no sense to me.

I'm going to guess that Mark Henry will end up on the Raw team. I think he has a match tonight on Superstars.

I knew I forgot something....

I guess they didn't want Mickie to job nor Melina to turn heel, so they had somebody the fans hate (Gillian....... >.< ) pull a screwjob & win it just so Melina could just come in & take it w/o doing it directly, thereby setting a feud for future PPVs.

He was largely before my time as a wrestler, but I loved the Super Mario Brothers Super Show as a kid (and I've got half the series on DVD now, and watch it all the time). The Mushroom Kingdom is forever in his debt.

I'm watching Superstars, and...did anyone else notice that CM Punk always...rubs everything? *shudder*
I'm not just saying this 'cause I hate him, it's just...okay, here's a really tiny list:
1. Breaking Point Submission Match: When Punk pulled the 2nd Montreal Screwjob, when he got to the ramp, he started rubbing his chest. I don't know if he hurt it or if it was itchy or something, but...ew.
2. Ever since then, when he did his entrance, he rubs the floor. HE. RUBS. THE. FLOOR. I MEAN, WHAT THE HECK?!

I focus on the awesome bit where he checks his imaginary watch to tell us that "It's Clobberin' Time!" This is why he, and Edge, are The Endless Crew's official favorite wrestlers...total nerds.

As far as Mickie...well...have you noticed anything different about Mickie's look and work lately? I hear that's what's behind dropping the belt and moving to SD!

You like pro wrestling? If yes, welcome to the club. If no why did you even click on the link?

As for James..Is it because of the weight she put on? If so I'll be honest here. She doesn't look bad at all to me. Pretty superficial reason if you ask me. Granted WWE should want their wrestlers to stay in shape but still.... Not cool.

Here's some interesting news
Shane McMahon has officially resigned from the WWE, the resignation takes effect on the first day of 2010.
Not really a reason why, but it's on WWE.com.. I think it's legit.. if it were a storyline they would of probably had Shane come out and cut a promo about "losing his smile" lol

I hate to say it, but yeah, that is pretty cool. Oh my god, I can't believe I just typed that. But still, I just noticed he did that imaginary watch thing(maybe he thinks the watch is real...)after Breaking Point. Also, when do ya think Edge is coming back?

My God, Punk rubs everything! He probably rubbed Jeff too. *shudder* He's turning into Goldust.

He knows the watch is fake, it's all part of his awesome. Don't be besmirching the guy just because he's better then you :P

Edge...it's probably impossible to be 100% sure. The injury he has is a tricky one, but estimates are that he could be ready to get back in there by around January if all goes well.

No, I watched those matches. I remember him slamming Jeff around, I remember him kicking and punching him...at one point, I could have sworn I heard Jeff admit that he was going to paint his nails (oh wait, he already does that) and answer to "bitch". But Punk most certainly did not rub him :)

Quiet, you. I forgot to mention, in December I'm going to and ECW/Smackdown! event, and after the show, I'm gonna ask Punk why he rubs everything. If he gives me a good, reasonable answer, I probably won't insult him to his face. Probably.

Edge...it's probably impossible to be 100% sure. The injury he has is a tricky one, but estimates are that he could be ready to get back in there by around January if all goes well.

Aw, man. Smackdown! is already bad enough with BM Punk(The Rock FTW!), but with Edge back...? It'd probably be hilarious when Jericho sees Edge, though.

No, I watched those matches. I remember him slamming Jeff around,

Now now, don't say that the hillbilly was slamming Jeff around, because you know it's not true.

I remember him kicking and punching him...

Look up.

at one point, I could have sworn I heard Jeff admit that he was going to paint his nails (oh wait, he already does that)

'Cause he's AWESOME. And Punk paints his nails, too. Believe me, he had black nails on a bunch of Smackdown! episodes.

and answer to "bitch".

*hiss*

But Punk most certainly did not rub him :)

Well, whenever he grappled him, it looked a little strange to me. >_<

So... Are people in WWE really that high on Escobar and McIntyre?

I mean, putting them in such a high profile PPV match so soon could actually end up hurting them if they're just treated as jokes instead of legit threats (And with DX on the other side, they probably WILL be made to look like jokes).

Not a good idea if he is anything like Jericho. You know you'd be insulting him for the character he plays right?

I really wish there was more time to build the Morrison/Miz match. There aren't that many matches on the card yet, so I hope they get a good block of time to work. I think Miz needs the win here and I hope he gets it. I really hope this doesn't turn into a feud to unify the belts, I don't think that will happen though.

Morrison is getting better at promos. I think that is the one field he is lacking in.

And yes, Token is wearing a CM Punk shirt.

So.. What are the odds of Cena v HHH on Monday NOT ending with interference? 1%? 0%?

I'm thinking 0%, you aren't getting a clean finish in that thing.

Also I do believe that the SD! team vs. The RAW team at BR looks SCARY. RAW has all it's main event guys on it, SD! has guys that sure have been given TV time and pushed, but certainly aren't on that same level and I fear instead of one of them getting a win over a guy like an H or a Michaels (who could stand to do that job) they will be the recipient of the loss for team SD!. Fucking weak weak shit...please WWE, prove my ass wrong.

Agreed; it sucks. Creative seems hellbent on burying Matt now, and for some reason they're not giving R-Truth the push he should be getting (because he's ridiculously over with the fans). Also, while Drew 'I'm not really Scottish' McIntyre could easily hit the big time in the future, Escobar was made to look pathetic.

I CALL BULLSHIT. I say Vince is trying to make RAW look better at SD's expense out of jealousy, and I don't like it.

Not likely - both belts are held in much higher regard than the Tag Belts.
