It could, but most people don't want it to. It makes no sense to break the streak now. Taker has gone this long with it and retirement for him can't be too far off, so let him keep it. Let him beat HBK for the first time.

What would be the point in it? The fans don't want him to lose. The office doesn't want him to lose. Why can't that be the one thing Taker gets that nobody else does? If somebody beat Taker at this point I think it would effectively ruin them as the fans just wouldn't forgive them or the company for doing it. There's no benefit in ending it, so don't do it. Keep booking him in there with guys that won't be hurt by doing that once yearly job to him and let him have that. I see no problem with that whatsoever.

Pep, I validated your account at TEC, feel free to start posting whenever, sorry for the delay. But I have to make sure I've got the board totally secured now from bot sign-ups. Thanks for understanding.

I do agree here. People don't want to ever think it will end and then they will argure that he will never lose. From some very well placed sources in the wwe there is a good chance that HBK will beat the undertaker. It is unsure of because Vince is keeping everything under wraps so it is hard to tell of what to happen.

They might not be very well placed for long. Hope none of these guys are personal friends of yours. If they are, you should probably tell them that there IS stuff Vince and his inner circle leak to people (especially this time of year) that's intentionally false as a test to see who is a leak. I can't see HBK doing it. Orton didn't do it, the chosen son didn't do it, so unless Shawn has somehow begun having sex with Vince, or become a power mad fuckshit again, can't see this happening. If anything, I could see Shawn vetoing the idea and demanding that he job (remember, this is the guy that was willing to do a three match series with Hogan where he didn't necessarily win, the whole deal fell apart because Hogan refused to take the mandatory one loss to keep it drawing). So yeah, I really think this is yet another Wrestlemania victory for The Dead Man

SD was bad last night. It was one long commercial. I think we got what? Three matches? I understand WM is their big show (no pun intended) but come on, at least give us a normal SD. At least things will be back to normal next week. In two weeks I'll be seeing the draft live so I'm looking forward to that.

Since there was nothing else of interest last night in the wrestling world (Lol, SD!). I'd like to take this post to congratulate the new ROH Champion, Jerry Lynn.

Lynn is now the first wrestler to ever hold gold in WWE, ECW (The original), TNA and ROH.

Here's some of my predictions for WM25.

MITB- Shelton Benjamin - He lost his title before WM25 which might be a sign he could win. Shelton should win anyway because he is one of the most talented superstars in the WWE.

Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy: Jeff Hardy: I like them both but I just feel that Jeff is going to win this year. This would be Jeffs first victory at WM25

HHH vs RKO: Randy Orton -Maybe Shane or Vince turning on HHH?

Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker: Undertaker - 17-0 baby.

25 Divas Battle Royal : Trish Stratus - Surprise return and win.

The Big Show vs Edge vs John Cena: Big Show - Cena is taking time off in the summer for a new movie and Edge's knees are bothering him so he might also take a break. I would love to see Big Show as a champion.

Chris Jericho vs Legends : Legends, but I wanna see Austin out there and not those 3 guys who can barely move now.

JBL vs Rey: I expect JBL to win and then is retiring and giving the belt to Rey which will make Rey a grand slam champion.

Yes, i do understand that Vince has intent on terminating anyone who is leaking this info to the web. Luckly i do not know these people in person, there just people i started talking to on another online forum that i found out knew every thing that was going to happen. At first i had to be sceptical with this info and over and over his predictions were correct so now it's very possible that hbk will be the one. Little known fact that the undertaker is looking to retire son as in a year or so. WWE is offering him big money to keep him in the ring. I do think the undertaker has a very good chance at winning, do remember wwe wanted mark henery tp beat him at first and the same with orton. The plans changed at the last seconed, the undertake was okey with losing so that could mean it's time for him to lose this year. We will kist have to see.

Ok, I'm here on my rare appearance only to post my predictions for Wrestlemania 25. Most of these I thought of already, and I thought about it long and hard and am pretty sure that I'm right. Btw I'm skipping the divas match because women are inferior.

JBL vs. Rey Mysterio (Intercontinental Championship): I can defiantly tell that JBL will win this one. They made Rey Mysterio beat JBL last Monday so it can be unpredictable, but I know JBL will cheat to win this one. I'm not happy about it, but I'm pretty sure about it.

Chris Jericho vs. WWE Legends: I know the WWE Legends won't lose at Wrestlemania, and I'm sure Chris Jericho is is for an ass-kicking. I'm not too hyped up about this match, but I'm putting my bets on the legends.

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker: This one should be obvious. I highly doubt that the Undertaker's streak will end at 16, it just doesn't seem right. I really do want Taker to kick HBK's ass too, he's being a total fucking dick lately.

Money in the Bank ladder match: Christian: I don't expect the WWE to be doing anything very big with the MITB this year, so they'll probably give it to Christian. ECW is going to need some of that excitement anyway, and this is the perfect way to do it for a rising star like Christian.

Edge vs. Cena vs. Big Show (World Heavyweight Championship): Again, I think the unpredictability is trying to be made here by making Big Show beat Cena and Edge beat up Cena. But unlike last year, I could imagine him winning this one, and I really hope he does. In addition, the title needs to go back to Raw.

HHH vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship): I'm positive this one will be saved for last. This is going to be an awesome match undoubtedly, and they would end off Wrestlemania with HHH winning an epic match. If Cena takes the World Heavyweight title back to Raw, they're keeping this one on Smackdown, and everything works out woohoo yippee everybody fucking go home now :D

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2009-04-04 21:44:11

Whoops sorry, forgot a match.

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy (Extreme rules): People have been waiting for Matt to get his ass kicked for a while now, and now is defiantly the time it will happen. Jeff must release all his rage on Matt, and I can't imagine Matt beating Jeff here. In addition, Jeff has a defeated streak at Wrestlemania so they should let him win this one.

Wrestlemania 25...

Remember people it's 7 PM Tonight.

A big night, something we will all remember no matter what. I for one am going to enjoy it quite well. For those unfortunate to be watching I feel sorry for you.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2009-04-05 10:15:34

Doesn't look like I will be getting to watch WM live.
I'll probably find a way to watch it eventually, there is always a way.

Not really that keen on it anyway.

The one thing I want to see is how Undertaker beats Michaels.
Anyone who doesn't think that is how it is going to end is kidding themselves.
But apart from his triangle hold all of undertakers offence is so cliche, it doesn't get a reaction anymore.
Same thing week in and week out with the old school, bouncing off the ropes *yawn* whatevers.
So hopefully he pulls out something special. Not the same old routine.

I'm looking forward to see what happens since there are a few matches that are sure to have some great work involved. I won't actually be seeing it but I will eventually. I just hope that if JBL does retire he doesn't take the IC title with him. That would suck.

Night of upsets so far, as I've covered over on the wrestlemania 25 topic on my boards, you've got The Colons winning the unified tag crown and CM Punk being the first man to repeat in MITB. Two matches where the predicted finish was not the finish we got. Screwing with the smarks? Or has WWE finally decided to push these talents? Not regretting having not bought the show, but this does help me decide that I most likely will be buying the forthcoming DVD.

Holy crap at Ricky Steamboat! For someone who wasn't had a match in 15 years, he looked awesome. Jericho beats the Legends in what was a pretty good match.

Of course, Rourke punched out Jericho post-match.

I can understand giving the Colons the titles in order to give the fans a face victory on the PPV. But there it is. On the PPV.
Hell, if I was watching WM, I'd have much rather had 21 seconds of the tag match over JBL/Rey.

I know i was wrong with that match and it looks like vince may have found hid person he was looking for and now his contract may be terminated. Now the match was a masterpiece, i have no words for it at all. Dare i say the best match at wretlemania in ten years, honestly this match was the only reason i payed 55$ for this if this match was not on the card they wouls be out of money. Again no words for this match 10/10 five stars as for the rest of the show not so well.

Edge can never seem to keep his title when facing Cena can he? I was realinh opeing Edge would keep it this time around. We got a few suprises with CM Punk winning MITB, and WWE deciding the tag titles were a dvd only match with Carlito and Primo winning the bout. The match that should have been kept off the main card was the diva match. Did anyone really want to see that? I'm sure the "Santina" bit was funny but it sounds like it ran for far too long.

I'm also shocked to see Matt Hardy get the win. That will keep the fued going for them I guess. My prediction that HHH would retain also came true.

I'm also glad Taker kept the streak alive. 17-0. I wonder if JBL is really gone or will he go back to announcing?

I only got 3 right with my predictions.
I really didn't expect The Colons to win, probably the biggest surprise..

You would think unifying the tag titles would bring them back some respectability but no, they take it off the PPV.. and give those losers the title.. great start for the unified tag titles. Ugh.

I suppose they still want it to be a lower card title (or the WWE Champion and the opponent for his title, which they've done numerous times). As if they're going to dedicate any more time to it now it's unified, this just means they can justify giving tag teams half the time now.

Speaking of WWE and their stubbornness, I can only imagine CM Punk's next push will be just as underwhelming as the last. They may as well make Punk the first guy to not win his title match, because then at least they'd be burying Punk in an original way

Also, thank God for Orton getting Orton'ed.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2009-04-06 13:43:34

Just finished watching Wrestlemania and have mixed feelings about it. First up, it's a shame the tag match was a dark match, although I think I'm one of the few people that enjoyed Kid Rock's performance.

Money In The Bank was excellent but seemed a tad short. Everyone in the match was excellent and I was glad to see CM Punk get the win. MVP and Shelton have the US title to fued over for a while so the only other real winner was Christian, who will hopefully be drafted elsewhere in the draw next week and be built up there.

Diva match was pretty much as bad as expected. Although thankfully Santino knocked it up from dreadful to light comic relief.

Jericho Vs The Legends was ok. Steamboat sure can go, especially in comparison to the other two. Him and Jericho at the end really worked well. Good to see Jericho get the win, even if he did have to suffer with Rourke. Shame my prediction about Austin didn't happen.

Hardy match was good. Lived up to the title of extreme rules and had some good spots. Despite being a huge Jeff mark I was fairly happy to see Matt get the win. The fued can be continued in months to come and will hopefully end with one hell of a TLC match. (Over the top tier title would be my perfect scenario).

Mysterio/Bradshaw was a waste of time. Apparently were destined to see JBL as a commentator in the near future, but I can't help be a bit pissed at the factv that this match got a place on the card over the dark match. Guess JBL being JBL had to have a Wrestlemania sendoff.

Undertaker and Michaels definatley put on the match of the night. Although the result was pretty much a given, they kept it going back and forth, the audience kept getting more and more fired up, some excellent wrestling, good spots, an overall excellent match. WM25 wont be remembered for the two title matches but for this one.

The two title matches were average and the results were less than pleasing. Cena I could take winning, it's Wrestlemania so a face really has to end the night victorious. I would however have prefered Edge to retain (give that poor man a reign longer than a fucking month!) and Orton to beat Triple H. CM Punk comes out and cashes in having a face end the night as champion. Next night on Raw he cuts a promo dating back to the night Orton kicked him in the head and cost him the title (battle royale ppv, don't remember which one it was). Everyone wins, except of course Triple H which is probably why it didn't fucking happen :(
