I seriously question the creative team's IQ.
Hopefully they will drop the storyline, it is stupid and it is going nowhere.

Agreed 100%. They took something that could have been pretty interesting and made it into a joke. You're telling me Kelly knows NOTHING about Randy Orton? That she'd sleep with this guy and expect he gave a shit about her? This is one of those "does she not watch the tv show? Does she not have friends that would give her a heads up?". Just such a dumb move here and a waste.
I seriously question the creative team's IQ.
I do too, like I say here's a good storyline idea they had, it was a great chance to take some young babyface, put him in there with the veteran monster in Kane, and they ruined it.
Hopefully they will drop the storyline, it is stupid and it is going nowhere.
It sure felt like a blow off in some ways to me, unless this is part of some weird face turn for Kane here, which I just don't find comforting. I dunno, I'm completely with you here in that I think it's an opportunity missed.
I did enjoy most of the booking for the rest of the show though, the Fatal Four Way played out how we thought it would, but it was effective. I liked the Rhodes/Punk bout, especially the finish because it protected Punk and continues to add heat to the Punk and Regal match and I'm glad they are waiting until Regal is healthy to have it. I thought Snuka vs. Super Haas was a pretty decent squash. I thought Manu/Hardy was ok. I don't think Manu is all that great, and I wonder if WWE didn't do this as either a way to get him out somewhat, or they want to try and build him as a babyface monster. Fuck that guy, I've mentioned before he whacked my buddy...yeah Samu made him apologize, but still. It shows me that Manu is a lot like Orton: The son of a mid-carder who became a promoter and thinks he's entitled to special treatment. Screw that shit, not to mention look at the size of Manu, and my friend is just a regular fucking guy, he was a damn referee, so he's built like a damn ref.
Speaking of him and all that, there's supposed to be a new promotion starting up around here he's going to get involved in. I don't know how close any of you are to the Allentown, Pennsylvania area, but they'll be doing the first show free, and shows after that would be like 5 bucks. He'll referee but ultimately he wants to turn and get into heel managing similar to Bill Alfonso. Me and our other mutual friend are already trying to put our heads together on how to help him with this without him having to get physical with us. I'll keep you guys updated if and when it happens.
Also that Goldust segment was frickin great. That's the kind of funny I can get behind.
I agree with you about Manu, I just don't find him the impressive. They should have just kept DibIase and dumped him. Snuje has talent, but I feel that he hasn't been developed too much. Cody has gotten better, I just wish he had a better finisher.
As for Kane, I'm guessing he is going to be Legacy's first feud. The idea is stupid, but I supposed it would be a good way to make the stable more legit, because so far it hasn't wowed me.
I loved when Santino was doing commentery while Beth and Melina were fighting. "Not the face!" I think the obsessed fan bit is pretty funny, hopefully it won't be a clone of the Mickie and Trish storyline.
I am a new terror born in death, a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.

Jason Powell of Prowrestling.net is reporting that Christian is very close to signing a deal with WWE and that plans are already underway to bring him into the company to work a possible program with Jeff Hardy. The seed has been planted with Hardy being attacked prior to the Survivor Series PPV in November, and it is expected that Christian will be revealed as the culprit. It should also be noted that TNA seems to be under the impression that Christian is indeed headed back to WWE.
Christian vs Jeff Hardy? Now there is a fued I could get behind!

Knowing the creative team, I will be shocked if it does not turn to a clone of the Mickie vs Trish storyline.

As much as I hate Captain Invincible, I want him to retain at the RR so that we can have Orton/Cena at WM.
P.S: I have a feeling that Orton is going to win the 30-men RR.
I will join, I always liked the WWE. I liked the WWF too.
did you see that on monday where they had the diva battle royale and Melina won. after she won
Beth Phoenix beat the crap out of her but Melina got the upper hand and then Beth Phoenix's #1 fan Rosa tackled Melina. It was funny
I also liked that Goldust segment where he made fun of all the wrestlers about christmas. that was funny.

I honestly think this is a situation where they're thinking they have the Rumble match, they have a WWE champion people will pay to see as well, and they can give him Edge, or H, or any one else out of that hot mix on SD! and that can draw. So basically their putting out a throwaway World Title match that will serve to continue putting heat on the Michaels/JBL situation.
P.S: I have a feeling that Orton is going to win the 30-men RR.
I could see it. In part because I'm really not sure who else you'd have win the bout this year.
Do you guys think Swagger has a chance of winning the ECW title from Matt Hardy? They seem to be slowly building this fued which is good. I'm not sure Swagger is ready to be a champion though.
I didn't miss the Boogey Man much, but the crowd seems to like him.

Think that was a leit event? I'm not sure; I thought it was just a random fan, seemed a little set up.
The whole "HBK sacrificing himself to JBL" was pretty lame IMO. It's not like a war or video game or something - he could have just as easily let 'em pin him or walked out or something. Would have had the same effect, I think.
Also, from what I read apparently Kizarny didn't go over too well on SD! Didn't see that coming. *cough
domestic violence can be funny too!

Pfft, the crowd was dead in his promo last Friday, I do not think that he can even survive a year in the WWE.

Sure thing! Who is your favorite wrestler?
I'm almost finished with the IC title DVD and I've got to say it's been an awesome watch. There were a lot of matches I had never seen and some I had forgotten about. It's tough to pick favorites just yet so I'll get back to you on that.

What irrated me the most was that Kizarny who had been doubted already after one match went over MVP in a squash match. When will the company finally start pushing MVP again? I am tired of such a reat talent getting wasted.
Christian Cage's TNA deal has expired.
Let the rumors, fake signing announcements, and other shenanigans commence!!!!

I would not return to the WWE if I was Christian. The WWE treated him like a piece of shit, why coming back?

Unfortunatly. I really am starting to hate Raw now because they put in the same shitty matches over and over again, I mean they could have easily put in Randy Orton in the main event and you got an awesome match. But no. What happens? HBK doesn't do anything interesting and sells his soul to an asshole like JBL.
Smackdown was great though. The new carnival dude Kizarny is the only thing that brought it down though. Why the hell do they let a guy like him beat MVP? Oh well. MVP sucks anyway lol. But I definatly think that Edge and Jeff will be an awesome match. Also Big Show is fat.

How did they treat him like a piece of shit? He was a well pushed mid-card attraction for many years, got multiple title reigns, was a great part of a hot tag division, given his own interview segment and got to make out with Trish on air. The only reason he left as I recall was because he felt he was ready to break through to the main events and wanted the opportunity but they weren't ready or willing to give it to him then, TNA was, so he went there. At the time it was a very good move because when he jumped he became perhaps the biggest name on the TNA roster, he was somebody they could build around, and they treated him like a big star and put the title on him almost immediately. But now they have Sting, now they have Angle, and Christian has been de-pushed to the mid-card and it sure as shit looked like as he was leaving that it wasn't a situation that was gonna change anytime soon. So it becomes something like what Raven described about his decision to leave ECW: "If I'm going to be part of the background no matter where I am, why don't I go get paid more to be part of the background?". But of course, there's great evidence to suggest Christian won't be should he go back to WWE (which all signs point to). His best friend and storyline "brother" is the top heel on SD!, he can be slotted in as the guy who attacked Jeff Hardy (which is also something all signs point to), so right out of the blocks again he'd be in a pushed and featured position and right there in the top mix. Sounds like a great situation to me!

Pretty sure it's just you.
That really wouldn't work for me at all.
Kizarny sure didn't go over well did he? The crowd was even booing him. I wonder if WWE will scrap this guy or will they keep trying to see if he can get a better reaction against someone else.
I hope they do bring Christian back. That would be awesome.
Why are they jobbing Helms now? Does he really deserve that? Come on WWE....

Well pushed mid-carder, RIGHT... The reason why Christian left for the TNA was because he was not happy about the way he was booked in the WWE. Look at Edge right now, you see the difference? Talent wise, Christian deserves better than being a mid-carder. At least he should be booked as an upper carder who is just short of the ME level like CM Punk.

He made Chris Masters look good in the ring, that was all you need to know.
I hope they do bring Christian back. That would be awesome.
I'd second on that.

No...but Vince loves big men with muscles (Lesnar, Lesley, Kozlov...) regardless their talent.

Yeah, he was absolutely a well booked MID-CARDER. That's the point I made, for the role Christian was alloted, he was booked well. The problem (and I do agree it was a problem because I thought at the time he could be at least given a shot at the next level, and any time you have talent and management totally at odds over the way talent is being used, you have a problem) was they couldn't agree on how to use him. His contract came due, TNA offered a better deal, so Christian took off. I don't blame him, it looked like a good deal at the time, and it was a good deal at the time because they immediately made him a top star and a pillar of the company. The problem came when Angle and Sting came in and as each one of them was signed, Christian became just a little less important, and at this point he now has more opportunity within WWE I think then he did in TNA (which has just taken a turn for the goofy, and when even the hardcore internet fans like us can't be bothered to talk about Impact! you have a massive problem). That audience isn't growing, Christian has pretty much done what he can there, time to go back to the big money with what he did in TNA on his resume and see what that does for him in the eyes of WWE. Looks like that could be a lot
I think WWE has a good opportunity with Christian. He would be put into a fued with Jeff Hardy which would be great and he would be with Edge. They could always put tension in there as well by making Christian want the belt too.

Rumors are saying that Christian will make a shocking return at the RR and screw Jeff Hardy out of the title picture. Then he will reveal himself as the mysterious person who attacked Jeff just before the Survival Series and feud him all the way to WM.
Guess that feuding with a ME level star like Jeff Hardy is a good start for Christian. Hopefully, those two will bring on some good matches.
i will join the wwe and wwf are great
my favorite wrestler is Jeff hardy
