WWE Unforgiven takes place on September 7, 2008 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. WWE has released yet another promotional poster for this year's Unfogiven - and this time the poster does not feature Shawn Michaels, it now features Batista.

It looks like WWE are changing posters around like they have done for past events. The new poster features Batista in a yard at night in the rain doing Randy Orton's ring pose. Check it out below:

Definatley. The part were Hardy shouted "You make me sick!" at MVP looked so realistic. Credit to Hardy, I hope he fueds with MVP for a while, then finally gets the big one. Kennedy's match against Benjamin was awsome. Some excellent wrestling. The ending was good as well. Edge and Foley, both fantastic at cutting promos.

What the hell? Is this like The Shawshank Redemption or something? "I repent my past boo-boo face now that I'm back on RAW lord!"

I personally would like to see Michaels take a couple months off honestly. I think it could wind up being good for Punk and Jericho as now Jericho can very logically say (as he did Monday) "Hey, I beat a guy that's a future hall of famer. The dude who beat the best ever, how the hell am I NOT the no 1 contender?" and I think Jericho is a guy that you could have Punk beat clean and it doesn't really hurt Jericho all that much, it can even add to his heel persona as he just completely goes round the bend, then back comes Michaels and now we not only can continue that feud, but we've also brought the World Champion into it on the side of probably the top name on the RAW roster right now.

I know it's never gonna happen, but one of these days they should use at least ONE of our good ideas right...right?...

Soures say shawn going to wrestle Jericho in some really big match, like first blood match or even a to decide who will wrestle cmpunk at unforgiven. Which explains the poster wwe put out.

Edge beating the living shit out of Mick Foley was...unexpected. I don't know why Edge attacked him for that, he must have been paranoid. But either way, like everybody else, I can't wait for the Hell in a Cell match at Summerslam. Maybe Foley will get involved, who knows.

I'm hoping for Mr. Kennedy to go for the US title at Summerslam, Shelton gave a lame excuse for losing to him last Friday, but if he didn't he probably would have choked the living fuck out of Eve, which I would find pretty funny.

I expect him to have a Steel Cage match with Jericho at Saturday Night's Main Event. I know he will, he can't be gone. Especially the fact that the WWE always has to make a million hypes before releasing somebody like him.

Edge attacking Mick was his way of showing us the old Edge. Mick cut one hell of a promo which really summed up how Edge has been acting and it will hype up his performance with Taker in the HITC match.

Shawn will retire when he says so. No one will tell him otherwise. When he is ready to call it quits, you can bet WWE will make a huge deal over it, and deservedly so.

I seriously have not watched smackdown sense the death of Eddie Gerrero or ECW sense like the third episode when WWE started showing it when they had a DQ in a match. I mean its ECW home of extreme wrestling you can't DQ someone on ECW all matches should be the so called extreme rules match. Any like my other post WWE made another crappy choice as the RAW GM. I personally think they need to do like they should have done in the beginning. Give RAW to Stephanie and Smackdown to Shane and let them have a family feud that would be sweet in my opinion. Shawm seriously needs to sit out for a while. No one in real life could take that much damage to their eye and still wrestle that soon. That would be like HHH wrestling a coulpe of weeks after tearing his quad.

I have some news on Ric Flair.

Source: Gerweck.net

Dave Meltzer is reporting that several independent promoters have been told that WWE hall of famer "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and WWE have parted ways, and that Flair is now available for bookings. The break up is considered an amicable parting. Flair was wanting to accept bookings that WWE rejected.

I can confirm Flair and WWE have parted ways, and from everything I've heard (I can't get too far into it because it would violate my terms of service with an elite account) it was indeed amicable, and if you stop and think about what Flair's doing now vs. what he couldn't before...it makes a ton of sense. Can't blame him one bit here.

Raw was pretty good last night. I wasn't too thrilled with the last match's result since neither Batista or Cena really needed to be tag champs, but I understand the reasoning behind it. two guys who are going to face each oher end up getting teh tag titles and must be a team. It's been done before so I know the routine.

Still we had some very competitive matches too. Like the IC title match between Kofi and Burchill. Good stuff right there. The CM Punk match was also interesting. Damn I hate JBL.

Ive been enjoying the wwe lately.
Gotta love the hardies running wild all over the place, very entertaining television.

Edge is far too shit to be getting so much attention, hopefully taker destroys him and edge fades away for awhile.
Ive never seen a wedding storyline that I have enjoyed.

Edge is one of the best things SD has. Yeah the wedding thing sucks but once they get past all of that I'm sure we will be seeing Edge with a better storyline.

I'm really looking forward to ECW tonight, mainly because I'm going to be there for the show! I'm very pumped up about going since I haven't been to a live WWE event in a very long time. I'm brining my camera, but since I've got nosebleed seats I probably won't get a chance to use it.

It's stupid, it's been done 10 million times and they've gone back to that well yet again because they've booked a dream match and only have three weeks to build it. We're sliding back into that pre-draft pattern again where it's "push all the established guys hard, and the new guys exist to just be their stepping stones". Rhodes and Dibiase Jr. were getting over and hey! They actually WANTED to be the tag champions! Guess that just wasn't important enough to WWE.

Still we had some very competitive matches too. Like the IC title match between Kofi and Burchill. Good stuff right there. The CM Punk match was also interesting. Damn I hate JBL.

The Punk match was a case of good work, goofy bullshit ending. Also, Punk got very little offense in there too. JBL is crap, he's already beaten JBL once, so where the hell is the intrigue in another one on one match? They are really started to book Punk right into "unworthy champion" oblivion here. You want a loaded show? You want him to succeed? Then Jericho should have won, or at the very least, it should have been a triple threat. Logically with that little an amount of time left anyway, Jericho should have just climbed back in, smacked JBL around and stopped him from covering Punk and then he could have gotten into the SS match. Stupid, stupid booking, and there was a lot of that all night. The work was good, but the booking was pretty freakin bad.

I'm hoping this is a fluke, but considering we're headed towards a big PPV that WWE wants a big return on, it pretty much tells me that they think it's fine to try and build new talents for the B-shows, but when the A-shows happen, they'll just be shoved to the side and then they'll sit there and wonder why they can't establish them.

Mick Foley has been unhappy with his role as color commentator on SmackDown! and is considering leaving WWE when his contract expires in the coming weeks. There has been talk of holding him off television this week to sell the angle he did with Edge at the end of last week's Smackdown, but it should be noted that the Edge angle was not specifically written as a way to get Foley off television.

The main factor contributing to Foley's unhappiness is Vince McMahon yelling into his headset during SmackDown! broadcast. McMahon regularly feeds lines to and communicates (note: yells at) WWE announcers while they are working and Foley is said to be at the end of his rope.

There was an incident that took place several months back while Mick Foley was calling SmackDown! with Michael Cole. Foley felt that Vince got so out of line with his yelling that he called Vince later that night to discuss the situation. Although sources indicate that Vince has toned i down while producing Foley since then, Mick is still bothered by the way he and other announcers have been produced.

Foley is expected to appear at SummerSlam in some capacity, but that show is being seen as a possible end-date for Foley if he chooses not to sign a new deal the company

Tis a shame about Foley, I love his work on commentary. If he does leave I have no idea who they'll pair JR with. If it was anyone other than Heyman I'd consider it a step down :(

Raw was ok last night. The Kofi/Burchill match was by far the best. The old storyline of tag team rivals is being done again (it wasn't that long ago that it was Matt/MVP) but like someone said, you can see why they did it. Mike Adamlee isn't a bad GM in my opinion. I prefer him to Regal anyway. Shame about CM Punk Vs JBL at SummerSlam. Any of the other outcomes would have been better considering JBL's the only guy Punk's really beat since becoming champ (aside from Regal).

Regardless, SummerSlam should be a damn good PPV, as per usual.

Tazz could easily slide into the role, and somebody like Josh Matthews could replace him on ECW, or they could even pull a guy into the job that can talk but they aren't really using to work.

Nothing is final on Mic yet, and it has been getting bandied about a little that this might even be a ploy on Mic's part to get some better money. I sure can't blame him for not wanting to get yelled at by Vince, Joey Styles started out as miserable with the idea of taking this wwe.com job and not being an announcer anymore....now he LOVES it I hear, and that's because he's found it's much more fun to sit in on meetings and be around Vince when he isn't being yelled at about how he's doing his job wrong.

It's been said a million times, the micro-managing needs to stop. They need to let things come up more organically, and that's when they have success, if Vince wants to do scripted television, he needs to get out of wrestling and make a sitcom, because scripted to hell wrestling doesn't work because it takes the people and their reactions out of the equation.

Wow was that a fun show! The crowd was great and we got a very good assortment of matches for ECW and SD. Miz and Morrisons Dirt Sheet bit was funny as hell and Matt Hardy came off great. The crowd was crazy for the Hardy's. Amusingly the women in the crowd went nuts when Morrison showed off his abbs.

And that commentating job went to Matt Striker calling ECW. Tazz did indeed call SD with JR.

I won't post anything about SD right now, but I liked how it went.

Glad they had Foley sell the angle from last week, not to mention it gives them a real good look at how JR and Tazz could work for a two hour show. I'd hate to see Mic out of the booth, because he's getting good, and it keeps him from having any stupid ideas like getting back in the ring.

I was glad Batista and Cena were able to win the world tag titles on Raw, not much because they're a great team, but the fact that I just can't stand Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibease. Either way, I see a huge rivalry between Cena and Batista, I don't know how they plan on keeping these two as a tag team, but oh well.

Really good. He and Kenny had the first match of the night and the crowd was very responsive to him. There were a couple "Truth" chants that popped up too. I think he will do ok this time around in WWE. Thank God he isn't using that dumb k-kwick name he had before. R-Truth isn't the best name but at least they got part of it in there.

Unfortunately, it takes more than great skill, charisma, and having a prestigious wrestling family to become a star. It also takes creative not fucking you over and constantly putting already established people over those who are emerging.
