Agreed 100%. Punk has totally outgrown that brand and he's done everything he possibly can there, time to move on. Shelton and Kofi are still developing really, so they can be guys the show is built around with Punk gone.

The cool thing about Punk's position is that even if he got drafted, he can challenge for any belt he chooses/ So if he ended up on SD, he couls still challenge for the WWE title on Raw and go there if he wins it. I think it is likely that he will go to SD since that seems like a better choice than Raw.

It was good enough for one week. Honestly, every time I don't win kind of depresses me. Besides, Smackdown deserves a much better rating than Raw, because we obviously know that HHH is going to be champion for a long time until somebody pulls a bullshit win on him to win the title. Kinda predictable. Until the draft, I'm going to be seeing the same booking over and over again.

Draft's next week isn't it? Before NoC. To me it'd seem sensible to have the draft after the PPV. Unless WWE's planning title retains/changes that have an effect on the superstar.
Example, HHH get's drafted to SD! but retains the title therefore keeping him on Raw. Etc.

Actually, like others have pointed out, it's smart to have it before the PPV. Because if they're planning major switches like are rumored, they can now push the PPV as the last time you'll see those two guys fighting each other because one is going to a different brand. Although that loses impact when you see guys just seeming to go wherever they please whenever.

SD was ok tonight. Not the best show they have done, but watchable. I thought they really laid it in heavy with the whole "La Familia" thing. I kinda hope the draft seperates Viki and Edge because I honestly don't want to go though another WWE wedding. Each and every one of them has sucked. Its apparent that the crowd really hates Viki too as she gets the most heat out of every heel on the show.

I think the best match would go to MVP/Kane. That one held my interest the best out of it all. Seeing a ref get beaten up isn't my thing.

FINALLY! They're finally having a match with Edge and Matt hardy! Dammit, i've been waiting for this ever since Edge moved to SD. I never really been around watching their rivalry at the time, but this is definatly going to be an interesting match.

As for SD, well...La Familia is really starting to piss the shit out of my asshole. They've done about everything so far that I can think of to piss me off. Just screwing Batista out of a match with FUCKING CHAVO??? Dude, something's gotta happen, and I'm depending on the Draft the change it up. I just hope I don't miss the first hour, like I do all the time on the special 3-hour events.

Missed Smackdown the other night, but checked the results. From the sounds of it, all I missed was Edge and Vicky playing "control". Kane/MVP was probably decent though, I remember there Inferno match from a few years ago.

Looking forward to the draft on Monday, will be interesting to see how they do things, and who goes where.

Remembered from Raw this week, Triple H's jab towards Cena about his twelve year old fans not seeing his match as it's past their bed times. Pure gold I thought!

Also, has anyone noticed that tag teams seem to be splitting up of late?
Duece and Domino, Cade and Mardoch, and Yang's gone for a month or two meaning him and Moore are done for a month or two. It seemed like the tag team division was starting to actually go somewhere, but now they've lost half the teams and have Finlay and Horswoggle challenging for the belts :\

I'm looking forward to the draft too. Thing is we'll be getting a big dose of Vince tonight since he usually hosts the thing plus he is still doing the give away. I would say that the GM of each brand would do it but since Raw has no GM its kinda weird.

Wow. Talk about mixing it up a hell of a lot. I never in a million years would have guessed JR to SD. Matt to ECW baffles me too... That makes me think Chavo will win at the PPV to keep the title on SD.

WWE is really going for that "Anything can happen" motto of theirs.

Rey to Raw is terrible though. All the cruisers that end up on Raw never do well. We'll just have to see how that goes. Punk to Raw is awesome. and Jeff to SD is pretty cool too. Bit of a shame that Matt has to go to Raw. Would have been nice to have both Hardys on the same show.

Matt to ECW is strange, because like has been pointed out, it'd send the US title into a situation where it'd get defended on ECW and RAW. Unless they plan to have Jericho drop the IC belt at NOC to someone on SD!, or drop it tonight, I'm not sure why they would create the uneven situation with the title situation at the mid-level.

Batista to RAW? He earned it, now what does SD! get in exchange? They'd done a good job balancing the picks so far I think...so that could probably mean a certain Nickolodeon Gangstar is movin on...

Umaga, ok, I didn't expect the bulldozer, but it does make sense. Batista was a dominant monster, Umaga can be that to replace him, good call by WWE.

I was totally expecting Umaga to move to SD. He's done all he could on RAW, and on SD he has a legit chance of becoming World Heavyweight Champ. Also, lol at Adamle calling him the Samoan Bulldog.

About Jeff though, I'm not surprised they put him on SD! He has a loyal following, which should be helpful when SD moves to MyNetworkwhatever, plus he won't be exposed to as big an audience as Raw, which will be helpful if... when he fucks up that final third time.

Well, SD got raped last year. Its only fitting that ECW got raped this year. Maybe ECW will win the Battle Ro.... HAHAHAHA! I'm kidding.

ECW is a minor league show, in a draft situation, they should always be the ones coming up the losers as RAW and SD! are easily the main shows. I have to think Kane being drafted telegraphs Show winning the ECW title though and then moving so that belt can stay where it is. That's one title that just wouldn't make sense if it doesn't stay on it's originator brand.
