He hasn't signed. As far as I know, he's still under contract with ROH. Of course, Jimmy Rave was under contract with ROH and TNA ended up buying him out. It wouldn't surprise me if WWE did something similar.

Or Danielson could just have asked for a release and they granted it to him. Rave is in TNA? They bought him out? With all due respect, the kid was decent, but I never felt he was all that great a deal, I think if I were TNA I'd have just waited till his contract expired...oh wait, this IS TNA, guess they needed more fodder for multi-man match PPV's and such. Never mind then.

Actually, Rave was one of the better heels in ROH once upon a time... Then he lost his mouthpiece and things took a turn for the worse. Also, he's doing nothing in TNA but for some reason he's been wrestling in Japan and he's being booked like a a big deal with wins over some big names over there.

Now...
TIME TO LAUGH AT WWE!!!

Last night's edition of Raw did a 3.03 cable rating for Vince McMahon's million dollar giveaway. That is actually down from last week's 3.06 (which rounded up to a 3.1). The show did hours of 2.97 and 3.09. I think it's fair to say that WWE hoped for more of an audience than this for a million bucks.

lol, WWE.

Thank fuck it tanked like it did. This is one step closer to Vince realising his own mortality. He's gone down the typical rich man road of throwing money at a problem (literally), now he should try using his actual business skills. Unless he's just going to blame a market recession and ignore the problem from now until he goes bankrupt.

Vince most likely solution.. GIVE AWAY 2 MILLION BUCKS!

Back to the Danielson thing. My people (Yes, I have people) have told me some things (And seeing how Dave Scherer said something similar it seems to be real). Basically, the people that know Danielson were treating it as a try-out match, and backstage Danielson came across as a dude looking for a job.

For what its worth, Gabe Sapolsky (the ROH booker) has yet to comment on the situation... This just adds more fuel to the fire.

I'm torn on this. I want the guy to succeed, and I feel he deserves a chance to show his stuff in front of large crowds, but at the same time.. I'm an ROH fan, and though they'll manage without Bryan, they would still be losing the biggest name on their roster.

16-1? Nah, not a chance. 19-1, or 20-0 if all goes to plan.

no undertaker is going to retire at wm 25. he was going to at wm 24 but ric flair was retiring and the wwe could't have that. shawn is the perfect choice to beat him and end the streek also they are usuing shawn because what ever he does he is loved by the fans. end of story.

I dunno, this sounds like exactly how people could have been talking about CM Punk back a few years ago.

ROH is in that position ECW was in where whenever they grow a talent and really showcase them the bigger companies will take them for themselves. I'm sure that yeah, they'll figure out how to keep going, long as they continue not to spend more then they take in, and keep the company solvent, you'll still have ROH, and there are definitely some talents who seem to be destined to stay there either because they're anithema to what the big companies want, or because they've been there, done that, and are happier in ROH. I think Danielson could be a great addition to WWE, especially if he's sent to say the ECW brand and put into that role of helping to make new stars. He can basically fill in the void Benoit left I feel. Been nothing but impressed with the work of Danielson.

WWE could always use the talent, it just seems like they don't know how to use it properly. We've stated it before, but it still remains true: WWE has no clue when it comes to effectively booking their undercard. Guys who could become better are jobbed, and people the fans don't want to see get wins. Why the hell is WWE still investing time into Snitski? Not one fan gives a damn about him, yet they job out guys like CM Punk, Santino and Carlito. Makes no damn sense.

I'd agree with you about CM Punk, but Santino and Carlito have been making progress as a tag team in my eyes. Was nice to see Umaga get a win. I really hope they do something with him... Something that dosen't involve Snitsky...

Raw was "meh" last night, but the Hardy ending was great. I knew what he was going to do before he did it, new it :) I hope they do add him into the NoC match. It would make it at least ten times better. Anyone else see Jericho/HBK at NoC, for the IC belt? Or is it maybe a little soon.

Also, I just thought, poor Shannon Moore. Things were going well for him working with Yang, now he's back to having nothing to do. Which is a shame because he's a decent wrestler.

Double post, but I just had an idea. Next week on Raw, Hardy Vs HHH & Cena, Handicap match. If Jeff wins, he's added to the championship match. Could be a great way to add him to the match, as well as producing a decent match on Raw, Jeff, the underdog, beats the champion and number one contender.

I'm actually a bit suprised they put Jeff back into the main event so soon. Its true that Jeff is still super over with the crowd so maybe that has something to do with it. Not the best message to send about the wellness policy, but it makes for good tv.

Raw sucked last night. More John Cena and JBL shit, with more useless, uninteresting matches. Umaga and Snitsky seemed like a cool tag team, Umaga needed a god damn win anyway. I'm still wondering who Edge's opponent will be at the Night of Champions, either it will be Batista or someone that Smackdown gets from the draft.

Hardy is a guy the fans see as a top guy, so WWE is going to push him as such. I don't think he should be in the title hunt for serious because he doesn't deserve title matches, and damn sure doesn't deserve a title run right now. This is another example of why WWE has to stop jobbing the mid-card into oblivion and seriously start picking guys and bringing them up. You got a drug program, people are going to fail tests, people are gonna get hurt, and isn't it better to really and truly be able to send the message to people who repeatedly fail to say "look asshole, no matter how over you are, your a cog, and I have five guys just as over who's urine is clean and I can give them your spot". Just saying, isn't that like common sense?

Since when did WWE use common sense? If they did we wouldn't have some of the dumber storylines we;ve had to suffer through happen, as well as the lottery thing which everyone seems to hate.

I hope Jericho wins his match at night of champions. That dude really really needs a win on PPV.

Matt Sydal is not jobbing after his second match? There may be hope for him yet. I like him I saw him in a few matches on youtube from WAR, an Indy show in Lima where I live. This month I will go to a free show. A missed last month when Test was there. Also Punk winning the world title I love it but won't hold my breath. WWE trusting someone who will not break the wellness policy? Someone who is over with the fans? This IS the WWE were talking about right?

Just got finished watching the Twist of Fate DVD's.. They are totally worth the watch. Each disk tells the individual story of Matt and Jeff Hardy. Matt's story has a lot of their early history on it as well as what he went through with Edge, while Jeff's highlights some of his views on things, his activities outside the ring, and they also touch on when he was let go from WWE. Each story is very well done and the matches they include are great. I highly enjoyed it. Outlaw88 recommends this DVD.

There is a rumor that Carlito is once again unhappy with his current situation. There is also a rumor that he will be moved to SD. I can't blame the guy for not being too happy, he got persuaded to stay with a hope of being used beter, and though it has improved for him, he's not exactly on a big winning streak or anything.

Maybe on SD he could have another run for the US title. He and Matt Hardy could probably put on some good matches.

The rumor about going to SD! has been floating for awhile. Carlito as has been explained to me gets in the shit because he complains, and they hate that, and then he sandbags it, which they also hate. But they don't want him leaving either since they probably don't want TNA having another WWE talent to exploit. With that situation, Carlito needs to either bust it every time out, and hope for the best, or walk away, conversely WWE should either use him better, or let him walk away. I don't think either side is served if Carlito is kept around and he's bitching and hating how he's used.

I've also heard that WWE is hurting for people who speak spanish, especially wrestlers. I believe they want to connect better with the latino population, so keeping guys like that around are a good idea.. Cept the killer of that rumor is to look at Super Crazy. A bonafide Mexican wrestler being jobbed to oblivian.. So who really knows.. Either way the argument about Carlito isn't one sided. He complaines and sometimes phones it in, WWE doesn't use him properly and doesn't push him. So no real winner here.

Aaaaand Carlito just did an interview saying H isn't a real wrestler, and only got the belt from being married to Steph. So to me it's looking like maybe he's trying to get fired now.

First things first.. The comment Carlito made about being hispanic is right on the money. Rey Mysterio, the biggest hispanic star in the company ONLY got a title run because his best friend died. Oh yes, Rey's "title run" consisted of him getting his ass kicked on a weekly basis.

I should add that this also applies to the black wrestlers. Look at MVP and Elijah Burke... Two supremely talented guys and what does WWE do with them? NOTHING! It took Booker FOREVER to get some gold in WWE, and that was only due to a rash of injuries and suspensions. In the past couple of years only 2 black guys have been pushed:

Bobby Lashley: He's black... But he's not exactly the type of dude that most African Americans could relate to (Transalation:He came across as a white guy trapped in a black dude's body)/

John Cena: SPOILERS!!! He's not actually black.

I don't know.. I would say that Carlito is right in this situation. And no, it has nothing to do with the face that both Carlito and myself are Puerto Rican.

More to do with Rey's size then his race. Eddie defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE title, and they were pushing the hell out of Lesnar. WWE has never had a problem putting a belt on Latinos that I've seen, this just comes off like a bitter and frustrated guy playing the race card to me.

Booker got it after they retooled him and made him a WWE character. That's what held him back. WWE pushed the Rock, even before he got big, Rock is black. They pushed Mark Henry and signed him to a gigantic deal initially, and he's black. Ron Simmons has had many substance abuse problems, but WWE has always taken him back, gave him some belts and...oh yeah, black.

Vince ain't a racist, if he has a black guy that he thinks can draw money, he'll get pushed, same with any other race. The only color Vince sees when he looks at somebody is green, that's my belief.

I don't know.. I would say that Carlito is right in this situation. And no, it has nothing to do with the face that both Carlito and myself are Puerto Rican.

I think Carlito is just being bitter and bitchy, like he always does when he's not getting what he wants. At this point? WWE oughtta just let him walk or fire him outright and let him see how he can do away from them. After this latest round of now bitching about the future ownership, and the current regimes racial tolerance, you can't push him, can't reward him because that sends the message that if you cry and gripe and take shots at everybody you get what you want. Time to let him go.

Booker T was retooled... And he feuded with HHH in a feud that was all about race, and how Booker T was better served as the guy that cleaned HHH's shoes and drove his limo instead of as the guy who should challenge him for the belt.

By the way, someone had to OK that whole storyline, and it was probably Vince. Booker was then given the King gimmick, which supposed to be over the top and preposterous because it was a black dude portaying a king. The Rock was pushed, but being a 3rd generation superstar helped. The fact that Rocky was also a mercurial talent that could NOT be denied also helps.

Mark Henry.. You mean the dude that's called a SILVERBACK?

I will give you Ron Simmons, though.

SD was decent last night. It had it's high and low points. CM Punk and MVP's match was great, up until the ending. But hey at least he didn't get pinned. The Khail match was of course not very good, but at least the story aspect of Batista needing to win helped it along.

Are they going to give the tag belts to Finley and Hornswaggle? Come on WWE... You can come up with a team better than that. Why make a credible team like Miz and Morrison job to Hornswaggle? That ruins all the hard work they did to establish themselves.

I guess Duce and Domino are splitting up. Maybe they will go to seperate brands when the draft happens so we can see what they can do in singles.

I think Matt and Chavo are going to have a good match at NOC.

I don't know why, but I've always thought that Deuce in particular is pretty good, I'm looking forward to seeing what WWE does with him. Hopefully, this won't be like the Cade/Murdoch break-up where they had one match and that was that.

Also, Happy Birthday! GET DRUNK!

I have a feeling that after they split up, Deuce & Domino will end up in Florida Championship Wrestling
and both will get wished well in their future endeavors. Nearly everyone on the WrestleCrap forums thinks that will happen. Do you think that will happen?
