Hey, if JBL is willing to get himself back into shape, and get his work and promos up to snuff, absolutely push him. The company could use more dependable headliners right now, but they also need to build the future. The problem with JBL though has always been he's a guy that needs somebody good to lead him, and with his position as one of Vince's favorites, and his outside money and shite, does he even care at this point? I think JBL is where he's going to, and should stay.

I just read that Floyd Mayweather has retired from boxing...and I've heard he wanted to do more in wrestling....cause and effect? Maybe, I think so. We'll see what happens.

So, watching a Samoa Joe/CM Punk interview and it reminds me of a story that at least seems kind of funny to me: The time I made the former ROH owner Rob Feinstein say on my cell phone he hoped I thought he was important enough to call back.

I'm guessing Taker will show back up around the time of the draft. Maybe as a suprise entry or something. Either that or the powers higher up than Viki bring him back. Vince or the board of directors could decide to revoke what Viki did and Taker returns more pissed off than ever.

It's doubtful, and even if it was true I can't think of anyone who he would trust enough to be in a match with. Unless it was something tame like him being a special ref or something, I think Stone Cold's days in the ring are over.

By the time Punk turns in that contract, do you think the crowd in general will believe he is capable of winning the big match? With the way things are right now, probably not. Still they have a year or so to build on, so all hope is not lost yet.

You are correct. I just went to wrestlezone and they confirm the story. It's not on wwe.com yet but I don't think it will be too long. Sucks for Yang. I'm guessing pain relievers are what got him. With him doing moonsaults and such it's not hard to see that.

Actually... Other than the Jericho heel turn (And the Rick Roll), the show was not that good. Vince apparently has never used a phone because he botched dialing the numbers a couple of times. By the way, it seems that WWE is leaning towards adding Jeff Hardy to the WWE title match at NOC.

Former Ring of Honor champion and arguably the most important and tenured member of the current ROH roster "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson worked a dark match last night in Oakland, CA to open the Raw taping, defeating fellow Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy graduate Lance Cade.

Obviously, Danielson's appearance on the taping is going to spark rumors and speculation. For whatever it's worth, when contacted about Danielson working the dark match, ROH's Gabe Sapolsky stated, "I have no comment about everything."

Danielson was in a featured role in the most recent ROH PPV taping this past weekend in Philadelphia. That PPV will air this August.

Danielson was under a WWE developmental deal early in his career, wrestling for Memphis Wrestling when it was an official WWE territory. He has made a number of appearances in enhancement roles in the past for WWE, but has not made any such appearances in recent years.

For those that don't know, Danielson is pretty much the best wrestler in the world. He was trained by the likes of HBK and William Regal. Usually, I would say it isn't a big deal, but the thing is... Danielson won the match. A guy without a WWE contract beat Lance Cade. I don't believe I've heard of that in the past.

That is interesting. It's not often to see a guy without a WWE contract to get a win during a dark match. I wonder if this will lead to him getting signed? I have been hearing that Ron Killings has been working several dark matches and winning most of them. I hope he comes to TV soon.

It sounds like either Danielson has signed, or will sign soon. It doesn't make sense to give a win to a guy if you aren't going to be able to use him in the future.

I just got the Twist of Fate DVD and am watching some of it right now. It's a bit too early to give it a fair review but so far is is very very well made. I'm already learning a whole bunch of stuff Matt Hardy did when he was younger in terms of trying to break into the wrestling buisness. I'll let you guys knopw what I think of these DVD's.
