I watched RAW last night; quite good, actually. I do hope Teddy gets the GM spot just so he can royally fuck all the heels up the ass in only the way he can. :P
Also, a few thoughts on last Thursday's TNA that I didn't post from before:
Interesting Kong angle there; I do hate to see jobbers that no one recognizes, esp. when TNA isn't usually known for doing that (pay attention to that, would ya', McMahon?), but the 25,000 part sounds like it'll go somewhere with Kong getting royally screwed.
Geez, everyone & their fucking mother was beating the shit out of poor A.J. at the end; even as far as heels ganging up on a face goes, that's fucking over the edge & beyond. At that rate, he should've brought some mace & a tazer to the ring... O_O I CANNOT wait to see how that gets followed up.

I'm never around to watch TNA and I haven't kept up with it at all so I have no idea whats going on, or even who the champions are.
Well, Samoa Joe was FINALLY given the World Heavyweight title, which was awesome; now he's throwing himself into every available opponent to prove he deserves to be on top. Petey Williams has the X-Division tile, now as Scott Steiner's pal (Little Petey Pump). Awesome Kong is still Knockout Champ (no surprise there). And LAX are the Tag Title holders again, with Hector Guererro as their 'manager' of sorts.

But for the 195th time, I'm going to type this. Although Impact did a good job of advancing angles and building towards their next PPV (Slammiversary) we ended up getting a whopping 17 MINUTES of wrestling. For a company that once had a slogan that said "We are Wrestling", that's not exactly a lof of wrestling.
Actually, unlike most of you, I like the building up of the matches better than McMahon's to not care about the actual amount of wrestling so much, esp. when it leads to some very quality matches.

So it's just come out that Heat is cancelled, and WWE will tape ECW before RAW now and ECW will probably be on RAW's house show tours from now on. They feel this will give ECW more exposure. Which it could, but unless they plan on having ECW guys appear on RAW in a meaningful way like they have on SD! in many cases, then this is just a bad bad idea. If ECW is gonna be treated like job guys, there's no point. But with Heat cancelled, there's now a whole crop of guys that can actually be put onto the ECW shows and roster that could maybe freshen things up.
Odd, I thought Heat had been long gone; maybe it was just that uneventful.

Unless Vickie fails a wellness test, it ain't happening.
Wouldn't that be hilarious? :D
Yes, it would. :P
Honestly I do not like when the wrestlers are using drugs of any kind. They are each responsible for the others well being while in the ring. It would be extremely dangerous (more then usual) for a guy to work a match stoned or something since that would increase the chance of them messing something up and possibly hurting someone. And as far as steroids go, the wrestlers are going to have some long term effect no matter what, like crono sore backs and knees. Taking that drug which damages the liver, kidneys and whatever else is just not a good idea. Build muscle the old fashion way, its safer for the body.
Well said; I just wish other wrestlers would listen to that - which is highly unlikely these days.

Was it just me suprised by how good a match Finlay and Palumbo put on last Smackdown?
I was actually pretty impressed by the pair of them.
Yeah, actually, it was. Probably the best match Palumbo has had since the biker gimmick started.

RAW was a pretty good show tonight I thought. We got two big announcements:
Vince is paying people to watch RAW now apparently...we'll have to see how that one works out for him, and I'm sure more will be said about it in the coming days and what not.
Yeah, it's still hard for me to believe he'd do that; but hey, I'd go to a RAW show for a million, you betcha'. Why not, he has money coming out his ass. :P

I'm liking Ted DiBiase Jr. He reminds me of Orton but with way more charisma. It'll be interesting to see who he gets as a tag partner for his first match for the belts against Rhodes and Holly. Who knows, maybe the prestige of the belts will be built up sometime soon? God knows it would help.
He makes his dad look like a midget; then again, so does Orton. :P I had the impression that DiBiase Sr. would be his partner; I could be wrong, though, as I don't know if the guy's still in the required condition to wrestle.

Who else is excited for the Burchill and Kennedy feud?
I know I am. Two of my favourite performers, and some high profile wins for Burchill could really elevate him. Although I see Kennedy coming out as the eventual winner, this could be the chance for Burchill to get his foot in the doorway.
Hey, whatever gets Burchill further up the career ladder. After his last gimmick & the bullshit that followed, he DESERVES it.

The ending to that match really captured my imagination too. Jericho almost lost it and used a chair, but instead helped Shawn up and threw it down in disgust. I don't remember anyone doing that before so I really enjoyed that segment and look forward to see where it takes this fued.
I agree; that was one of the coolest endings to a match I've seen in a long time.

I have to admit, it was a damn fine show last night... But that announcement by Vince just felt underwhelming. So much hype for the draft and a giveaway?
Dr Evil will show up each week to collect the ONE MILLION DOLLARS, leading to him feuding with Gregory Helms returning as The Hurricane. The rivalry will culminate at No Mercy when Evil steps into his submarine and it explodes in the parking lot.
It's a real winner.
Fucking lolwtfbbqftw. :P
And I don't know why they always say that announcers are also eligible for drafting, they never do.
Yeah, really; I haven't ever seen that happen as of yet. And they shouldn't right now, when Mick Foley just replaced Coach & saved us another headache.

I think it was very sweet for Jericho to apologize to Michaels last night. I know how it feels to snap and feel terrible afterwards.

OH MY GOD I WANT TO FUCK MARIA SO BAD IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. I CAN'T CONCENTRATE ON LIFE BECAUSE I WANNA FUCKER SO BAD UNTIL SHE'S SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAMING.
Sorry, I had to let that out. Please continue.
My god, you remind me of me back when I was gaga for Ashley..... o_O You'd see what I mean if you go back several months worth of pages.

Anyone else noticed Vince used the words "sum of one million dollars" or something like that.
Me thinks theres importance in that words "sum". Watch this space.
Yeah, I thought that was kinda' weird, him saying it that way. See? You can't trust him anymore than you can throw him..........out the window.........of a 30-story building........
