ECW was very solid last night. We had some great matches that were very fun to watch. Every time Knox shows up on tv I'm usually suprised since I just keep expecting him to get fired. Know and Kofi put on a great match so I really can't knock the guy this time.

It was awesome to see Dreamer finally get a win over Morrison. I couldn't help but laugh when Colin got kicked in the head. I don't recall ever seeing that double team move Miz and Morrison did. Wonder what it's called?

Punk got the better of Chavo again. Chavo playes a great comedic heel when he wants to.

That Kofi Kingston was pretty damn impressive.

I'll agree with you on Kofi. I can't wait to see where he goes. I'd like to see him feud with Shelton, since their styles are so fun to watch. That is impressive that he already has the fans chanting and clapping with him. I hope he keeps doing the clap before his finisher, which is awesome by the way.

The Dreamer and Morrison match was good, I liked how Dreamer turned it around at the end for the win.

ECW is kinda boring to me. I was watching it and thought that Kofi is getting TOO easy of matches. For someone who is doing so well, he should fight shelton benjamin or something. Dreamers match was really neat. That tag finisher with The Miz and Morrison was fucking sweet. I made one of those 'OH SHIT!' type sounds when I seen it. It was nice...
Kelly Kelly is stupid. The arm the got fucked up was the one she should have held at the end. She held the wrong arm at the end of her match, but quickly switched. She's fucking dumb.
I'm not really into CM Punk. I just don't like him for some reason. I don't like Chavo either, so whoever gets the ECW Champion Title, good for them.
I miss the old ECW.... Hardcore shit. Now you have 'Straight Edge' people like Punk. His matches are boring. I was expecting to see him use weapons in the Extreme Rules match for that Gulf of Mexico brawl, but nope... Disappointing. What went wrong with ECW? I watched 'One Night Stand' from 2005 and it was extremely exciting to see how hardcore the stuff was. ECW doesn't live up to the name anymore... bummer.

Kofi wins easily beause for the last few weeks he has been facing jobbers, with the exception of Mike Knox. THe obviously want to build the guy up before he gets in any feuds. The fans are already behind him, so it probably won't be long.

Oh, Stephanie McMahon is pregnant again. I guess Hunter has been chilling with her the last couple of weeks.

Your basing that on what? Seriously dude, do you read the things you write before you post 'em or what?

Agreed Kingston looks good, but he's also starting to get repetitive and he needs a better class of opponent to work. Get him in a feud already and see what he can do.

I dunno. I just wanted to comment on how scary that dudes clothesline is, which he does as hard as he can in the ring (for serious) just to fuck around with the person wrestling him. He doesnt even necessarily have beef with the people he does it to, he either does it to break in the newbs and/or to fuck around as a joke with the people who wrestle him (They nail him right back and sometimes you can catch a split second of them giggling like lil kids about it).
You know that shit has to hurt like hell, also, If you watch the new age outlaws RF shoot interview session, they tell stories of how he kicks people in the back with all his might just to break balls. I never noticed it until they said something, but now when I watch their old matches (keep yer eyes peeled, he does it right in between 2:15-2:25) you can actually see the person LEGITIMATELY writhe in agony from being kicked in the back like that. (Poor Matt Hardy, that shit looked feirce as fuck, and you can tell he wasnt faking it, Bradshaw let his ass have it!)
All I know is the guys a fucking BEAST in the ring and if I saw my name next to his on the roster, I'd be smoking my cigarettes a little bit more nervously.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2008-02-14 22:28:08

I'm pretty sure JBL still uses that clothesline as a finisher..

For you newer guys: We were warned a while ago that we should not post old WWF/E, WCW, ECW, or anything else owned by WWE. Anytime they find footage online they tend to get it removed. So to keep NG out of trouble we should refrain from doing so. This was a warning given by Avie who has the best intensions for NG and this topic so it;s not just me saying this. Indy clips you find is ok as far as I can tell since most of them want the exposure and put their stuff on youtube anyway.

Like I said, this warning was given a while ago so you you newer people it's an understandable thing to do.

I've been a little starved for comp time lately, but I'm here now. :P I didn't get to finish watching Mondzay's RAW, & I missed ECW (I'm kinda' done with ECW anyway), but maybe I can catch TNA tonight; if not, I'll simply have it recorded like usual.

By leaving the company and leaving Vince crying like a baby! The last thing you want do is to push a guy to the sky from the beginning. The reason why Cena is hated by so many is because he has been booked as the next Hulk Hogan ever since his feud with JBL in 2004. If I memorized rightt, Cena was one of the most likable guys before his push. When success comes too easy and too fast, you should not expect wrestlers to have great loyalty to the company. Indy promotions that pop up on youtube, especially where it's clear that the promotion itself is posting it, are ok. Aw hell, another wedding story. I hate these so much, they always, always suck. SD just had a wedding too, it wasn't that long ago that they had the Teddy wedding.

They could have put some doubt in there if Edge just asked her to be his Valentine, and nothing else. Viki could have been like "Thats it? Don't you have anything else you wanted to ask?" making Edge reluctantly propose or something. Thats at least better than what we got.

WWE is doing a good job in making Palumbo hated. It's probably a good thing that most don't remember him as the Chuck in the Billy and Chuck team. You know, the gay wedding storyline. Yeah, same guy.

Time for my NWO predictions! :)
1. Cena def Orton (c) via DQ
Let's face it, there is no way in hell that Cena is going to lose because he is CAPTAIN INVINCIBLE. On the other side, it is going to be very davastating if Orton loses the title THIS close to WM. With that being said, I expect a DQ finish, do not be surprised if Cena goes over clean though. :(
2. Edge def Rey
We all know that the feud is just a filler/prelude for the inevitable Edge vs Taker match at WM.
3. Chavo def C.M unk via some screwry finishes.
I just do not see Chavo losing the title within a month. Punk also needs to avoid losing clean to have the feud going.
4. Flair def Mr. Kennedy.
Personally, I would like to see Kennedy beating Flair clean which will do wonders to his career. If memory serves right, Kennedy lost his title push after he failed the drug test last fall and has not been the same since. As much as he deserves to retire Flair, I do not see Ric losing before WM.
5. Taker wins the SD! chamber.
See my explanation for the Edge vs Rey match.
6. HHH wins the RAW chamber.
The only other guy who has a chance is Jeff Hardy. But if the company wanted to make Jeff a champion right away, he would have beat Orton at RR. With that being said, HHH is going to win the chamber.
Thoughts?

youngblood26's No Way Out Predictions
Here are the matches below:

John Cena vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship)
---> In my opinion, Cena will regain the title that he does not lost. Like what he had said last week on RAW that he is 100%, he is much stronger, he is more focus, and he is the better John Cena. And how's the main event for WM 24, Cena vs. Triple H. That will be an epic fight.

Edge vs. Rey Mysterio (World Heavyweight Championship)
---> Edge may reclaim an advantage there because Rey was suffered an apparent bicep injury in Santiago, Chile. And how about a Taker vs. Edge at Mania.

RAW Elimination Chamber
---> I predict Triple H will win it. He is determined to be the 12th time World Champion. I think The Game will be aggresive, and focused to win it.

SmackDown/ECW Elimination Chamber
---> Undertaker will the Elimination Chamber and be the Last Man Standing in the Chamber. He will continue his undefeated steak at WrestleMania.

Chavo Guerrero vs. CM Punk (ECW Championship)
---> Despite a slew of Punk's victories over Guerrero in early January, it only took one fortuitous night - and much assistance from the Rated-R Superstar - a few weeks ago for Chavo to seize the ECW Title. I think Edge will be not on his side now at his match. I think the Straight Edge Superstar can regain it.

Ric Flair vs. Mr. Kennedy (Career Thratening Match)
---> Wooooo!!! The respected 16 time World Champion will still continue his career. But this Career Threatening Match against Kennedy is different than the others; Flair is coming into No Way Out wounded.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2008-02-16 23:26:42

Now that I really think on it, Cena has a very good chance of winning at NWO. There have been talks of having a HHH vs. Cena II match at WM. Also HHH has been wanting to turn heel so this would be his chance.
