I haven't watched TNA for a long while now so I really don't know whats going on with them. I'm not avoiding the show, I just have to work on the night it's on. We really do need some reviews and re-caps for TNA just for the sake of having all pro-wrestling covered here, not just WWE.
The three hour Raw is next week right? I've totally forgotten when it is. I'm pretty sure it's next week. Rock might be there too.

Several sources are reporting that Senshi has quit TNA. Apparently Dixie Carter told the talent earlier today that if anyone wanted their release they could have it and Senshi took her up on her offer. Senshi was one of the wrestlers to secure a case last night during the Feast or Fired match so it will be intresting to see what they do with that.
At 12/2/07 10:54 AM, Outlaw88 wrote: How long do you think Orton will avoid Jericho? Do you think they will stall their match until WM, or do you think it will happen sooner?
Their match is at Armageddon. I see Y2J winning by DQ there and continue the feud to RR at which Orton will finally pull away. As for WM, I will be surprised if it is not Orton vs HHH.

Disclaimer: avie is running on 7 and a half hours of sleep, is working on a drunk after a shitty day, and may be more beligerent then usual. He's gonna double check this tommorow to evaluate if he was overly dickish, and apologize if he was. Please bear this in mind hen you decide whether or not to hate him forever.
Guys...I love you, well, I love most of you...but seriously STOP GETTING SHIT FROM THESE BULLSHIT SITES!!! I mean, if it was Observer, or 1wrestling, or fuck, even those cocksuckers at the Torch (hey, you shit on ECW, I hate your fag ass forever), but this shit? No, this is such blatant bullshit it's insane. You know what I think these bastards did? I think they just took the old story of how Eric Bischoff did this in WCW (say it with that Triple H southern accent, like, forever, especially to WCW fans...it's funny as fuck and makes them o so delightfully angry, lol) and replace Raven's name with Senshi. It's so blatant it's fuckin sad. Plus, where the fuck is he gonna go anyway? WWE? Ahahahahah! Hey, no offense to the guy, but they won't push him, and I hear he's a bit of a dick, and only Michaels and H are allowed to do that. So yeah, fuck this site, fuck it's lies, fuck it all. Wheeeee!!!
You know, I've only watched about an hour of RAW and I realized something...I do not give a tin shit about anything on this show, it's pretty obvious to me the only things I like anymore are CM Punk, and Edge. That's sad man, I've watched wrestling for 10 years, and I only give a shit about 2 guys now, stop and really think about that, 2 FUCKING GUYS!!! It's times like this I almost wish I never watched ECW, I think it ruined me...or maybe it smartened me up...I dunno, big question I guess, is it better to be one of the ignorant marks that can enjoy this piss every week just for the sake of staying connected to the business? Or is it better to be where I am now, mostly bitter about it, wishing I could go back to the point where I enjoyed or believed in it? Ponder that. Ponder it.
I'll probably just be passed out over here like...
Actually, I've been watching for more like 14. Probably dosen't matter to anybody, but I hate to downplay the severity of shit :)
Wow, lots o' interestin' shit tonite...... o_O
I couldn't believe I was seeing JBL in his old APA getup again; but like what was already said twice tonight, 'the more things change, the more they stay the same', as JBL self-promoted his money-grubbing ass.
"DAMN!"
The part where HHH said "he'd even Pedigree his own father-in-law" made me laugh; a nice little way of weaving the real-life scenario in there. I almost thought that HHH was going to crack the sledgehammer over Jeff Hardy, but I was surprised when he didn't. Huh.
Even if Shawn wasn't able to land Sweet Chin Music, at least he did to all 3 phonies that Kennedy brought out earlier (minus the one pretending to be him, who he let slide), and he used the Ankle Lock on Orton again. Then he got to kick Kennedy's ass over into the stands & beyond, as did Y2J beat the shit out of Orton afterward. :P Pretty good ending.
It wasn't too bad, overall, but now I have some things to discuss:
1) Can someone direct me to a spoiler of TNA Turning Point? PLEEZ.
2) Wtf is with ECW being on Thuirsday this week? On the bright side, however, if you guys intend on watching it, do me a favor & CATCH THE FIRST HOUR OF TNA WHILE YOU'RE AT IT!!! Not intending to be an ass, but yeah. :P
You can be in Paris. You can be in a Hilton. Just don't be in Paris Hilton.
Eh; tonight was alright. Seeing it live is always exciting, but it's always weird that I always sit net to a drunk old mom who eye-rapes Randy Orton (every fucking time), some "ex-wrestler" who starts feeding me his bullshit stories (this time the guy thought he saw Hacksaw Jim Duggan in the crowd), and the rowdy drunks who over-analyze the matches too much. It really sucked because I took about 80 pictures, and they all came out worst than I thought. I did get 2 great videos of Jeff Hardy's and Y2J's entrances.
Overall; today was actually filled with some twists. JBL and Ron Simmons; Triple H "assisting" Jeff Hardy (everyone started booing him when he started pacing the ring). The biggest, and best surprise is that Ric Flair didn't wrestle. They really need to stop milking that. Hopefully; Wrestlemania is his last match so he can at least go out on top.
During a commercial (w/ Lillian Garcia flirting with the front row guys).
Shawn Michaels with a diving elbow to Randy Orton.

You should post like this more often! :P Even in your out of it state you bring up a good point. The fact that the roster is filled with guys we don't give a damn about. Cept I like more than the two you mentioned. Both Hardyz, at the very least. There is more but thats not the point. WWE has aparently lost it's value to you by not giving you workers you can get behind.

I'll say it again, Avie... ROH! Its wrestling that's you know.... good!
The Joe "Shoot" was just insane, and it helped that he was speaking the truth. And is anyone surprised that Hogan is scheduled to be on RAW next week? Better question, is anyone surprised at the lack of reaction that Hogan's name got when Vince mentioned him?
At 12/4/07 11:06 AM, The-Redangleprince wrote: Pro Wrestling Insider is now reporting the Senshi departure. So I'm guessing this is official now. Hopefully he'll make his way back to ROH. I'd love to see him go after Nigel, though it is rather early in his title run.
Beat me to it >_>
Supposedly, Low-Ki has some heat with the higher-ups in ROH, so he might not got there in the near future. It wouldn't surprise me to see him wrestle for NOAH.
And another WWE related question... Am I the only one who thinks that Vince will end up naimg himself as RAW's greatest superstar?

yeah probably. But if he does there is a good chance that he'll get beat up like Steph didn't want. I saw Bret Hart's image for next week so that will be interesting to see. Wonder if he'll get a word in.

Yea as soon as I saw the "raws greatest superstar" thing I just went out loud "Its gonna be Vince then hes gonna get stomped"

It's so obvious it's criminal. It makes you hope Vince realizes this is what everyone expects, so they go a different direction and prove they CAN give you an interesting hook. But this is the company that hyped Jericho so hard, too long, and now he's like just another guy in two weeks.
Why Hogan? Why do you want him at this point? Hogan's drawing ability is long gone, and with everything going on with his family now...nobody cares. These people just come off as utter sleaze, and WWE should really be smarter then to use them at this point. The only thing that would make this even a little ok was if USA demanded it, but I dunno.

Why Hogan? Good question...because the little kids LOVE HIM as much as the BCS voters love LSU and Miles. Can't you see the kids having all kinds of orgasms (no kidding) when Hogan finishes of a heel with the LEG DROP?
P.S: I am pretty sure that even I can kick of the leg drop. I mean, after all, it is just a LEG DROP. (lamest finisher ever)
Nice shots, wwwyzzerdd! Especially the Shawn Michaels intro one. ^_^
Also, Thanks, Red, for the heads-up on Turning Point, but I'm still curious on 2 things: (1) What exactly did Samoa Joe say, & (2) WHY THE HELL WAS SCOTT HALL A NO-SHOW!? Eric Young's an okay replacement, but still.

After all that's happened to the por guy, yes I am. o_O

Like I said, poor guy. IT'S HIS DAMN WIFE'S FAULT, NOT HIS!!!!! >:(

Honestly, I haven't actually seen Senshi yet, so it doesn't make much of a difference for me. I know he's had some good matches, though.
And Avie, you may now apologize to everyone.

I thought Bret Hart was going to be there last night due to Kennedy's play on words; he's on Shawn Michaels' DVD, isn't he?

Most likely, unless ol' Dwayne shows up - assuming he's not working on another movie atm.

Hall said that it was "food poisoning" but I don't believe it. And Joe basically said what everyone else has been saying... That's he's tired of seeing former "Superstars" (at which point he stared at Angle) coming into TNA and taking up the spots that should belong to the younger guys. He told Hall to kiss his ass and also ripped on Nash, who was in the ring and wasn't too pleased with Joe's promo.
Here's the problem with the Joe promo, it's typical Vince Russo pop the smarks bullshit. Big name no shows? You have the young guy say how all the old guys suck, which ok, makes the smart fans happy, but the old guys aren't going away or are going to be depushed. I also highly doubt it's gonna lead to any sort of storyline where either Joe hunts the freeloading superstars down, or they want to go after him for the crap he said about them.
It'll just be a meaningless promo going nowhere, like when Russo cut one on Hulk Hogan in *southern accent* WCW.
So the Senshi story was true? Does Dixie Carter just watch tapes of WCW and read old internet reports and copy everything they do? Uh, that company went out of business people!!! Those aren't the guys to hold up as role models.
I was told Senshi will finish out whatever dates TNA still has for him, the whole split is amicable. Which is smart by both sides, why burn the bridge if you can avoid it?
I didn't realize that that Tin Man movie was on tonight, hence ECW's time change this week.
At 12/4/07 05:48 PM, pepeatumi wrote: Hall said that it was "food poisoning" but I don't believe it.

Wait, Joe basically indirectly agreed with Christian on something!?
TNA has entered The Twilight Zone........

So Joe is pissed off about the situation in TNA? I don't blame the guy if that really was a shoot promo. It would be good for him to get put back in the ME scene since that was where he was headed until Angle showed up.

Honest question to you guys who have watched wrestling for 5+ years... is it my imagination or has WWF gotten EXTREMELY predictable the past couple years? I know theres a drought right now, and hopefully Jericho will have the power to bring wrestling out of it, but even during the previous droughts things werent so predictable and boring. I mean the last drought (Right before 98 and the attitude era) was still really good stuff, what with Austin and the Hitman and everything like that, but this time around (and it seems to me like the only time) its been so boring and predictable I could vomit. The only show I even watch anymore is the A show, and the only reason Im watching every week now is for Jericho.
It seems like the past couple of years or so you can sit there and call whats going to happen and hit the nail right on the head, with shit like hornswaggle, ECW, the raws greatest superstar, all that shit. Its like a bad movie youve seen before, and quite frankly Im sick of it.
If any of you are in agreement, my opinion is that hopefully this "drought" as I like to call em will be over soon and wrestling will pop again. THE GOOD LORD WILLING. Cus Ive been a fan since 1987 and for the first time in my life Im TOTALLY fuckin bored with it.
I'll admit that I have been able to see whats coming more often that I did in the past, but that might be because we have been watching it for so long. The thing is during the attitude era WWE had to compete with WCW so they were constantly trying new ideas and storylines. Now with only TNA as something of a threat they have gotten a bit complacent in how they book.
honestly I think SD is more watchable since it still seems more focused on matches that storyline at times. Just look at the stuff guys like MVP, Hardy, Mysterio, Finley, Taker, Batista and so on have done. For the most part they give out some great quality matches.
Raw seems way too focused on storylines and Vince. That might be why I like SD so much too. Vince isn't on it as much.
