Who will be WWE Champion at No Mercy?

I really think the Cena injury was a fake injury. This enables Cena to do some rapping or movie making while he's away from the WWE.

And you got the guy.... who is going to SAVE the WWE... he's going to SAVE the WWE. Yea Chris Jericho is confirmed of signing a contract with the WWE.

But of course they strip Cena of the title to show that nobody could BEAT Cena. Only way he can lose it is by being stripped of the title. That way they still make Cena look like he's superman. Making Cena look like he's superman isn't very smart. It's better to lose sometimes to give the title some meaning. If one guy holds on to the title for so long... then you're wondering... well this one guy should be in a league of his own? Nobody else is even close to his expertise in wrestling? So everyone else in the company sucks except him?

I think everything will be interesting now. I'd really like to see MR. KENNEDY as the new WWE Champion. And I hope they re-change the style of the WWE championship belt. That spinner style is just too gangster. I mean if they want a belt like that so bad... they should call it the WWE Gangster belt or something dumb like that for such a dumb looking belt.

The WWE title is, yes. I guess the Cruiser title is too.

I don't follow SD! that much, but I know the WWE title is because John Cena suffered a very real and very legit complete pectoral tear. It'll be interesting to me to see what kind of reception he'll get on his return. Like the guy or not, he's been a damn good soldier and he really proved that by gutting it out Monday.

Also, the story on Angle has made the AP and it just gets worse and worse. If I'm TNA, I get that belt off of him real soon. Insane to me how irresponsible Kurt was here.

Why John Cena has been injured?

Mr. Kennedy....Kennedy! has injured Bobby Lashley's shoulder, that's why he has 6-4-6 months to come back in the action, and now John Cena is injured because of him....AGAIN!

Seems the cruiser title is no more. I checked both Raw and SD and they do not have a spot for it. Sucks that trhey just get rid of a title like that. I hope they bring it back but in a more legit way.

Still, it's rather odd that they just vacate the thing and not even mention it on any show. Hell Honswaggle was champ when he was reviled to be Vince's son, and it was even one of the hints. The least they could have done was have him lose it to somebody...

They couldve had Cena drop to ANYBODY and it wouldve been better than leaving it vacant... the only smart thing they could do with that is having Cena come back as a heel and bitching and moaning about how he never officially lost the title.

...And then he could totally lose by submission when Jeicho puts his ass in the lion tamer...

Like I have said many times, Cena is booked as the next Hulk Hogan, so do not expect to see him drop the titlre to any heel cleanly. Vince loves his love mate too much to let him lose.

Im still of the opinion that as a heel Cena would be a million times better. I might actually like him if he turned heel and learned how to wrestle better.

I kinda liked Cena's work as a heel. He debued as one if you can remember it. I do because whenI went to a house show with a friend of mine in Florida, Cena came out and made fun of the Dolphins (which we are both a fan of, but my friend way more than me) which caused my friend to get so pissed at him he wouldn't stop booing and making noise all throughout the match. Normally thats an annoying thing, but he ended up saying so many hilarious insults that it was great. Then we both went crazy for a Rey Mysterio/Ultima Dragon match that was kickass.

You act like the CW title means something to WWE. It dosen't, Hornswoggle is only the latest in a line of demeaning decisions made when it comes to that belt. It's like the Hardcore Title before they retired it

Rhino is a guy that just needs to be booked better, and given the ability to cut intense passionate promos. It's debatable whether he earned the push he did in ECW (I think timing had a good bit to do with it too) but it's inarguable that the guy can deliver when you give him the chance. He's someone TNA could do way more with.

Raven is the same way, go watch his stuff in ECW to see just how phenomenal a talker he is, and how much that persona when done right brings to his matches. Hopefully TNA keeps that going.

It's mean some ECW draft to TNA by himself or other.

Tag match was good, but dragged in the middle. Now we know that MVP and Hardy have to go up against the Brothers of Destruction. I guess that ends their title reign as tag champs, but gets them back on track with the US title picture.

I don't think it's been retired just yet, as far as I can see it's still being declared as vacant. It says so on the Title History page on the site.

As well as this title? I guess It's not but It's vacant but new champion will be crowned at No Mercy!

So any predictions for the PPV this Sunday? Off the top of my head I think Batista will win, as well as HHH.

Finlay vs Rey Mysterio:Can you say filler feud? Finlay never wins on PPV and I expect that trend to continue with this match. Rey wins, and this will probably be MOTN.

Candice Michelle vs Beth Phoenix: THe Phoenix will rise and win the title. Candice will put in a good fight, but its time for a title switch... And I want to see a Beth vs Mickie feud.

MVP and Matt Hardy vs Taker and Kane:Taker and Kane win via DQ or Countout. Look for MVP to turn on Matt during the match.

CM Punk vs One Man Gang Rape: Punk wins via screwy finish. I'll say Morrison interferes. I hope WWE doesn't decided to have Punk drop the title because the show is in his hometown.

Batista vs Khali (Punjabi Prison of Doom in a Cell in Hell made of Steel of a chamber on a pole): Batista wins, and I won't care.

WWE Championship Match: The most over face on RAW will ME against Rand E.Orton, and that man is none other than.... Jeff Hardy. Jeff is over and will have the crowd behind him, he'll play a great underdog and come close to winning the WWE title, but ultimately Orton will win the title. Then Jericho comes back as the show ends.

I'm sure gonna shell out £14 in the hopes that Matt Hardy and MVP are on the bill, and in the hopes creative gets off their arse and gives us a cruiserweight match. I SURE AM!

1. Batista (c) def The Great Khali: I just do not see Batista dropping the title so quickly with Taker being the next challenger.
2. HHH def Umaga: Just like Kane, Umaga is built as a jobber to the stars (Cena, Lashley and HHH) which is sad considering that he is one heck of a wrestler. Anyway, HHH wins here.
3. Randy Orton wins the WWE championship: With HHH still feuding with Vince, RKO is the only choice they have.
4. CM Punk (c) def BDV via DQ: The feud is just getting started. Do not expect a title change in the next two months. In addition, BDV is to strong to lose cleanly. I see a DQ there.
5. Beth Phonix def Candice (c): I heard that Mickie James was going to challenge Beth for the title very soon. So a Beth victory here will make it a reality.
6. Rey Mysterio def Finlay: It is easy to tell the outcome when you put an upper card face and a middle card heel together.

I think with Cena out for the year or whatever, the belt will change back to the more standard style it had before Cena. To me the custom belt thing was like with Austin, it was WWE's way of subtlely telling fans that this was their franchise player. It didn't change much for Edge because Edge was not expected to hold it very long. Now that there's no chance of a quick change back to Cena, there seems no point in keeping it as the "bling bling" championship.
