Like I said, I'd be very happy if it does turn out to be Jericho. But like Avie said, this also could be something of a setup which could dissapoint fans. Lets just hope WWE can deliver on this one.

That would be so epic for Jericho to come back and win the Title. All the match ups that John's had were with people undeserving of the Title, but Y2J would be the perfect candidate for the title. Save us from this super long (and boring) Title reign Jericho!!!

Very true, and it wouldn't be the first time WWE has done the bait and switch to hype a show. But even if it isn't Jericho, the promo is still aring for a reason, and it's fun to figure out what. For all we know it could just be an add for something like taboo tuesday or cyber sunday or whatever they call that PPV now..

Thoughtful idea! But I doubt that it will happen though. Vince loves Cena too much to take his title away anytime soon.

Seems to me that they just focus on the top storyline(s) with the WWE reject talent and gimmick up the undercard and hope that sells. Well, that will sell to the hardcore and diehard audience, too bad that if your goal is to really expand and play at the WWE level, you'll need the casual fan too. You won't get that fan without good, simple, logical story telling.

Tonight's Smackdown could be the last piece of wrestling I watch for a few months. I'm moving out of home to go to university tomorrow, so I can't afford Sky to watch wrestling on my own.

The new Hart Foundation is apparently on the fast track to the main SD! roster soon. No word on if ALL members or just a few are being brought up (as the group is fairly expansive at this point with 5 members). Those of you with bets that Teddy Hart would manage to make the main roster this time should prepare to collect that money and keep fingers crossed.

November, and No Mercy is before it, if WWE is already trying to promote another PPV, then they really need to stop wondering why their buyrates suck. If you don't bother to make a $40 PPV seem more important then just another bit of wrestling on TV, then why should the fans see it as anything different and rush to pay money for it?

If Batista is going to lose a feud, it will be against the Undertaker. I am happy with Taker in the title picture because that means that Batista's days as the WHC are numbered.

I think main event level can be subjective, if they're put on a show and allowed to get over, then pushed if they do, then I think they're all potentially capable of being main event level. It's up to them and the company to make that elevation happen.
