I hope they don't completly write Teddy out of things. It would be nice if they brought him back after a while.
Best match of the night had do go to the tag match with MVP and Hardy.

I'm just getting sick of seeing Noble lose each week.

I hope WWE creative is reading threads like this, because the whole reaction to the Long stunt here is I'm sure anathema to what they wanted. I doubt WWE would be so tasteless as to seriously play a heart attack for laughs, but that's what the fans are doing. I'm sure they'll be all somber and sad throughout the week recapping the situation and trying to get people to care, and they'll continue to laugh. It's like the Cena's dad storyline, they try serious drama and people just laugh in their face...try a new route creative!

Also read a really funny and sad recap where Buff Bagwell talks about the state of many things in the business, Bagwell feels he still has "one more run" and dosen't understand why WWE or TNA dosen't give him a shot. Then he trashes the creative direction of both companies basically...yeah, I don't understand why they don't want you either Buff! Not to mention the fact that you just basically have no drawing power whatsoever at this point, his best gig was as Scott Steiner's sidekick when Steiner was a featured player in WCW. Now Steiner is back to tagging with brother Rick and Buff has been off the major league scene for years, time to move on with your life dude.

They probably won't mention it until they do the SD rebound during Raw. With the Cena/Orton story going, they won't be taking away from that.

Here is an update on Monty Brown.

Source: Wrestling Observer

I wouldn't expect Monty Brown to jump back into a wrestling ring anytime soon. Brown (Marcus Cor Von) was released by WWE on 9/19, after being away from the company for "family issues." It is believed Brown is raising his sister's children (one sister passed away), and thus, the reason he isn't traveling. At this time, the thought is that he may be done with the wrestling business.

The opening of RAW

I laughed because Cena might get striped of his belt, but it probally won't happen. He'll probally have a match against someone from Raw.

Vince love Cena too much to strip his gold, not too mention that Cena has been the champ for more than one year. I have a feeling that he will not drop the title until WM 24 where HHH will finally save us from the demon.

Well Raw had some decent matches tonight. Cody Rhodes versus Holly was a nice set up, a little short though. Jeff and Candace facing Shelton and Pheonix was suprising, there was a great performance all around. Also, it was cool to See Ron Simmons back in the ring, I would have liked to see him do The Dominator though.

Inspeaking of which, what happened to Lashley? Did I miss something?

I cannot believe that they are still continuing the Vince vs HHH feud. Guess that all the creative members died out.

He went out with an injury. I have no idea when his return is supposed to be.

I think the mixed tag was probably the best match of the night. Man do hate to see Carlito get treated this way. He's being used as nothing more than HHH's punching bag at this point.

So Hardcore Holly's trade to Smackdown sure went well, eh? How the fuck can they justify raping Smackdown's roster to give it to Raw, then taking away one of the only promising trades Smackdown got?

No one noticed THE video? A bunch of number, words saying save us? I think Jericho's coming back soon.

Spoilers!!! ROH Driven is without a doubt the best PPV of the year, and McGuiness vs Danielson is a bona-fide MOTY candidate. To anyone who has a chance at ordering this show, do it. Its 10 bucks well spent.

Ya, but hey they got a match next week so Vince is fucked. But then again he might pull one of those Handicap matches when he knows he'll lose. If that happens it's an easy guess who's Vinces partner is.

I did miss that. When did it show? Damn I really do hope it means Jericho is on his way back. I'd be very happy to see him in action again, no matter what brand he ends up on. He'd definatly get a face's welcome, so it will be interesting to see what he does if he comes back. Would he go back after Cena to re-kindle their fued that sent him off Raw storyline wise, thus making him a heel again, or what?

I saw it, I don't remember exactly when it was on. It was right after they cut to a commercial. It was just a bunch of numbers going all around the screen, and it was similar to Jericho's titantron entrances. I'm hoping it was a promo for him and he gets back soon, I miss his trash talk and the Lionsault.

I had heard a month ago it was possible Holly wouldn't be back. Holly is no big loss to SD! because the guy is a career mid-carder that is really never going to go anywhere.

Oh, and they justify it because RAW is the "A" show and USA is constantly pressuring them about it's ratings, it seems the ratings are more important then even PPV buys right now. So until RAW drops to a two or below (and there's even at least one member of creative saying this) they will NOT change the product or anything they're currently doing.

He's still a well-known face to the fans, and established enough to put other people over. Like Finlay I guess.

I like holly, he's one of the only wrestlers to respond to one of my patented Thumbs up when I went to a wrestling event.

T'was the episode of SD when Eddie was Auctioning off Kurt's Wheel chair and other items.

Has anyone else here had a wrestler give them a thumbs up back or something of the sorts?

Exciting times, eh? I really hope it is Jericho, but knowing the WWE, it's probably someone like Snitsky repackaged.
Also, are they angling for some sort of gimmick triple threat tag match between Cade and Murdoch, Londrick and the Highlanders?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2007-09-26 07:26:56

ECW was solid last night. Good matches throughout, and I saw that number thing.

Poor Balls just can't seem to catch a break. I also noticed that Little Guido is Nunzio again. When did that happen?

Umaga will be involved and beat the shit out of HHH, thus making HHH's victory at NM more valuable.

I've heard it was supposed to be a Jericho/Hart Foundation thing...

Spoiler?
There has been a lot of talk about the cryptic "SAVE_US.222" video that aired after Raw on Monday. While the exact meaning of the video remains unknown, we do have an interesting story regarding the mysterious promotional piece. Back in June, before the Benoit tragedy, former WWE creative writer Court Bauer suggested to the rest of the WWE creative team a different idea to introduce the new Hart Foundation or the return of Chris Jericho.

The idea was to run a viral marketing campaign, something like an updated version of the Y2J countdown clock in which he debuted in WWE with back in 1999. Ideas included setting up websites developed by third parties, doing things on YouTube, and mystery ads on WWE.com (one example for the Hart Foundation idea was to have a "public service announcement" on heart attacks that would take you to a Calgary-related web site). The underlying idea was to develop an interactive campaign where fans would have to try to "crack the code."

Bauer's idea was very popular amongst the rest of the creative team until things were turned upside down by the Benoit tragedy. Some of the clues in the SAVE_US.222 video such as the WWE theme music clue and deliberate misdirects with the whole Jericho feel could be an indication that the video has something to do with Jericho's return to WWE. While nothing has been confirmed, the piece seemed very similar to the initial idea that was thought up this past summer.

Edn Spoiler.

What do you guys think?

I think the fans are setting themselves up for disappointment, this creative team has proven pretty inept, and I really don't want to get my hopes up.

Looks like they've set up Punk vs. Big Daddy V, which is encouraging I think since maybe that means WWE has decided to really give Punk a chance with the title and he won't just lose it right back to Morrison.
