some wrestling news for you all:

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on a developmental contract with Ring of Honor/Wrestling Society X star Matt Sydal. It is still unknown as to when he will report to one of WWE's developmental territories as he is expected to fulfill all of his independent contractual obligations. Sydal has been somewhat of a hot commodity since the demise of WSX as both TNA and ROH made major plays for him. Dragon Gate in Japan was also said to be very interested in him. WWE contact Sydal with the offer several weeks back.
Don't really know the guy, but sounds interesting.
Rosey worked a dark match at this past Monday's RAW in Fayetteville, North Carolina, losing to Johnny Jeter. Rosey has dropped a considerable amount of weight and is now working under his real name of Matt Anoai.
As long as he isn't S.H.I.T.
Monday night was a test run to see how Jim Ross and Tazz would do as a team, and some people were impressed. Vince McMahon has been wanting to split up J.R. and Lawler for some time, feeling the combo is "too Southern," but television producer Kevin Dunn is strongly against it. If it's made permanent, Lawler would join Joey Styles in ECW, and occasionally work matches there as well. Dusty Rhodes really wants Lawler on ECW. Lawler and J.R. are really close and would obviously not be happy with the change.
The JR/Lawler team is probably one of the best there ever has been. Why try to fix whats works so well?
It is believed that a Ric Flair retirement storyline is going to start imminently, perhaps in the next few weeks, to culminate at either Royal Rumble, No Way Out or WrestleMania next year. Flair would obviously prefer the latter. Flair, who is 58 years old, has been saying that this was going to be his last year as a regular in-ring competitor.
Don't go Flair! You still gots it!
Stephanie McMahon is pushing hard for D-Lo Brown to be brought up to the main RAW roster and become involved in a mid-card storyline. Brown has currently been working a lot of dark matches at recent televised events.
I'd be up for that. I always did like D-lo.

Sources indicated that Vince McMahon was a little upset with the general reaction Snitsky got on Raw Monday. Vince thought Snitsky was more over than he was and when he announced Cena vs Snitsky he was a little taken back by the lack of reaction.
well duh. lol
