A great monster, somebody who should always be kept strong so that you can have a guy you want to be mega over beat him on the way to doing that. Basically, you make him kind of like your own Undertaker. He dosen't need a belt though really, you push this guy in the upper-mid, occassional main event. He won't carry your company though.
AJ Styles
AJ is a guy that should be tentpole for the X Division, and also a main eventer. Playing him as a comedic, dumb ass heel is just a complete waste of the guy. Tentpole X guy, main eventer when needed, though I see no reason why the X Division needs to be a step down. Russo needs to pull out his ECW tapes again and see how the TV champion was booked as equivalent to the TV champion throughout most of the company's run. No reason not to do the same with the X belt.
Andrew Martin
Can't see an upside here, never drawn money or really mattered beyond the feud with shane almost ten years ago.
Black Reign
Dustin and Goldust are done in my mind, unless they have something insanely new and captivating here, and so far it sounds like they don't, it's a spot that could go to someone else.
Chris Harris
No honest reason why the guy isn't a headliner or an upper card main eventer. Paid his dues, done what's been asked of him, fans love him. What's the problem TNA?
Christian Cage
Christian is fine where he is, the guy is a strong upper mid-carder, emergency main eventer, his title reign left some folks flat and maybe that proves Christian just isn't a top guy.
Eric Young
New feud, new direction, or he's just wasting air time.
James Storm
Good solid mid-card heel, keep him that way.
Jay Lethal
This guy should also be one of your top X guys, and that can be a very good slot if it's booked right.
Jeff Jarrett
Elevate the younger talents, should be the top babyface that the young heels have to get by on their way to the top. Stop building around him, he dosen't draw.
Kurt Angle
Kurt has too many belts now and he's being pushed far too hard. Kurt dosen't need a title to be over, he could be the legit badass, and his wrestling machine persona in ECW was great for him. Problem is Kurt is a mark for belts, and he's got the power to make sure things get built around him as does Jarrett. Kurt is a top guy without question, but he should be the guy who works with and helps build up some young guy with the title reign he's got currently.
Lance Hoyt
Means nothing, never really shown anything. Screw 'im.
Matt Morgan
WWE never really did anything with him, so this is a chance for TNA to appear smarter then WWE. Bring him up slow, see how far he can go, and maybe they'll get a nice surprise.
Mr. Backlund
Greatest work in history, or the guy is legit nuts. This could be another nice comedy feud for Eric Young, or maybe reminding people that Backlund was a WWWF champion 20 years ago and trying to push him as a psycho for someone to take down.
Pacman Jones
Worthless stunt, sucks, people don't care. Drop soon.
Petey FUCKIN Williams
Tentpole X guy.
Rhino
Upper mid to main event level guy, a great and credible monster, but has shown he can have more dimensions then that. Completely being wasted right now after being on the cusp of greatness only 2 years ago.
Robert Roode
Pull off tv, repackage, try again. He has not gotten this gimmick over, he's bottom wrung, and without a whole new character, he's totally screwed.
Ron Killings
Killings could be a real good X guy I think, can be entertaining on the mic, not someone to build anything around in case his unhappiness leads him to quit, but deserves better then being stuck into a program with Pacman.
Samoa Joe
Should be champion, should be the face of the company, but Angle and Jarrett will probably never let it happen till they're done having their fun. By that point though, it'll be too late.
Shark Boy
Lower tier X guy, maybe could even be teamed with Eric Young.
Sonjay Dutt
Lower tier X guy, someone who gets the push, and maybe the belt occassionally, very good promo, can have good matches. Best used with other X guys.
Sting
Great for helping TNA's licensing, has been a decent worker, has elevated some younger guys, continue to protect his image, while having him help elevate the younger guys.
Tomko
Fine where he is, big improvement over his WWE run. Best though I'd agree with Red as a bruiser and tag partner for Christian.
I'll comment on Red's tag team thoughts too soon I guess, lol
