From what I saw on Monday, (RKO stood tall, we all know what that means.) your prediction is very reasonable. There needs to be a miracle for Orton to strip the gold away from Captain Invincible. But Orton has been booked in shitty fashion ever since we won the WHC in 2004. If he cannot get the job done this time, people will never take him seriously as a title contender. Plus, if the WWE is going to make HHH/HBK vs Orton down the road, it will be so much better with the WWE title involved. I am going to pick Orton upsetting Cena here although I am not really counting on it.

Here's an update on WWE's international expansion.

Source: Wrestling Observer

It's not a done deal, but WWE is once again looking at establishing a European territory. WWE has been contacting U.K. talent, giving them the impression that an European territory could be started in early 2008. It is believed promoter Len Davis will head the project, but he has been very tight lipped on the topic. Davis has been in talks with networks such as MTV, BBC, and the Wrestling Channel for a live TV show.

Tanaka has always been all about working in his native Japan, plus, look at what WWE did with other ECW guys and it would have been that much worse for Tanaka as I'm not sure what his mastery of English is like. No promos=no push in WWE.

Gotta say I think Cena keeps the belt unless H has convinced the powers that be to give him the belt by No Mercy. I can't see WWE wanting a perception they award misbehavior, and cut John Cena short of the 1 year mark (which I personally feel he's earned, along with a break from carrying every show) Cena should win the main, just like CM Punk should win his match, though I'm going in doubting that'll happen.

I'm rooting for Punk thats for sure. To me the Cena/Orton match could go either way depending on what they want to do with the title after, but with all the offense Orton has gotten in on Cena I would expect Cena to come in with fists flying and a win to boot.

Batista had the upper hand on Friday which suggested that he would lose at Summer Slam. From what I have observed for weeks, at least one of the major titles are going to change hands, but at least a champion is going to retain. In the three major title championship matches, at least one face will win or the small kids will leave crying. As for the three champions, Cena is the only face. Since Khali is likely to retain, then Punk or Cena ortboth of them will win to send the kids home happy. The ECW title is the least timportant title among the three major titles and it does not hurt to have Punk having it. Based on all the analyse, I say that only the ECW title will change hands although I am still hoping that the WWE can make Orton a champion again.

I think the reason they pulled the MVP/Hardy match was due to MVP's condition. WWE may be playing it safe in taking it easy with him to let him fully recover from the procedure he's had. Sure we've seen him on tv but he hasn't been wrestling since what happened.

I just hope we do eventually get that match.

Time for my Summerslam predictions!

Divas Battle Royal: Melina and Mickie have had more than enough shots for the title, its time to change things up again, so I'm picking Beth Phoenix.

Finlay vs Kane: I think this has the potential to be a good match. Both men have been jobber to the stars for a while, but I'll pick Kane because... I don't why, but I'm going with Kane.

Umaga vs Carlito vs Mr.Kennedy:Because of the apparent push in Kennedy's future, everyone's picking him to win the IC title... I'm going another route. I think Umaga will retain and will lose in a one-on-one match at the next PPV (against the guy that doesn't get pinned). So my pick is Umaga

ECW Championship: John Morrison vs CM Punk:Punk's come close in the past to winning the ECW title, but I think he gets his first title win at one of WWE's biggest PPV's. With so few faces in ECW, they really need to put the title on Punk.... Its his night!

Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero: I'm picking Rey Mysterio to win, but I have to say this.... Chavo has done an outstanding job of bulding up this match by himself. I hope after this is done that Chavo isn't pushed to the side.

World Heavyweight Championship: Batista vs Khali Von Erich:I think Khali will retain at SS, and Batista will win the title at Unforgiven in some sort of stipulation match. But for now, its Khali FTW!!

Triple H vs King Booker:Spoilers!!!!! HHH wins

WWE Championship: Randy Orton vs John Cena: Since Orton was named number one contender, John Cena has become Randy's bitch. Everytime it seems Randy gets one-up on Cena, which is why I don't see him winning. For one last time, John Cena will OVERCOME THE ODDS and retain the WWE title.

Yes, a heel is going to win it and it is going to be Beth.
Finlay vs Kane:
I am going with Finlay, it looks like that the WWE is pushing him to an upper level.
Umaga vs Carlito vs Mr.Kennedy:
Kennedy will win it bcause he is good and the company wants to push him.
ECW Championship: John Morrison vs CM Punk:
Agreed, it will be Punk vs Big Daddy V next.
Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero: I'm picking Rey Mysterio to win, but I have to say this.... Chavo has done an outstanding job of bulding up this match by himself. I hope after this is done that Chavo isn't pushed to the side.
Rey Mysterio, it is a given.
World Heavyweight Championship: Batista vs Khali Von Erich:

Khali will retain here. I have no interest in this feud.

Triple H vs King Booker:Spoilers!!!!! HHH wins
H for sure.
WWE Championship: Randy Orton vs John Cena:

My logic says Cena, but my heart says Orton. Cena has been the champion for too long, I am gambling with Orton here.

Rey Mysterio beats Chavo Guerrero after a 619 and a Springboard Bodysplash (Rey looked Chubby)

Beth Phoenix won the Battle Royale to earn a shot at Candice's title

John Morrison beats Punk via feet on the ropes

HHH beats King Bookah with a Pedrigree

Batista beats Khali Von Erich via DQ (Khali retains!!!)

JOHN CENA DEFEATS RANDY ORTON VIA THE FU TO RETAIN THE WWE TITLE!!!!!

Fuck you, Vince, fuck you, Cena! We all know what happens when a full speed car hits an unbreakable wall. Didn't you see Cena KICK OUT THE RKO? Now Orton will never win a msjor title again because he did not get the job done tonight and has not got the job done since late 2004. Orton's career is fucked.

A good match but I have to say this, damn Finlay and his weapons....

Umaga retains the IC title after pinning Kennedy following a Samoan Spike

This was a great much it set up for the Rey vs Chavo match.

Rey Mysterio beats Chavo Guerrero after a 619 and a Springboard Bodysplash (Rey looked Chubby)

He didn't really Springboard he just like fell on him because of his injured knee.

Beth Phoenix won the Battle Royale to earn a shot at Candice's title

Damn it was a good a match, I think Candice will still beat her for the title.

John Morrison beats Punk via feet on the ropes

CM Punk would of won, but hey you have to have cheaterrs to have a good PPV.

HHH beats King Bookah with a Pedrigree

I'm glad his back and I think King Bookah as done this " I'm thw king shit to long", i'm just glad HHH is back in action.

Batista beats Khali Von Erich via DQ (Khali retains!!!)

Khali didn't want to loose his title Batista would of won all though he still won, but if Khali didn't hit him with the chair Batista would of had the title no doubt.

JOHN CENA DEFEATS RANDY ORTON VIA THE FU TO RETAIN THE WWE TITLE!!!!!

Damn I wanted Randy to end him with the Super RKO.

If you want to see what some people thought of Summerslam.... Read this!

Dave Scherer basically says everything they did wrong at SS. From jobbing Punk because the head of ECW creative has a hard-on for John Morrison to MVP being made to look like an idiot by Austin just because WWE wants to sell a couple of copies of the Condemned DVD.

Its a good read.

Underwhelming. It had its good moments, Rey vs Chavo was a good match and probably the best of the night. Khali vs Batista was crap, after hyping up the Claw Khali used it a total of 0 times in his match. Cena vs Orton was headlock city until the last 6 or 7 minutes, but the rabid fans made it a good match.

Morrison win by barely putting his feet in the ropes and I don't see how Punk can get yet another title shot. The crowd wants to see Punk as champ, but for some reason the higher ups want Morrison to keep the title despite the fact that Boogeyman and Dreamer are the only other face challengers available.

HHH looked great in his return, he was ripped but slim and the crowd went nuts, the actual match could have been better if Booker had gotten in some more offense. Kennedy got pinned in the triple threat which doesn't make much sense, then again it is WWE the divas battle royal was just there, ditto Kane vs Finlay.

MVP and Matt were going to have a beer drinking contest, Austin replaced Matt and Stunned MVP... That was about it.

It wasn't a show worth your 40 bucks. If you can find Orton vs Cena and Rey vs Chavo, watch them on the Internet and maybe watch HHH vs Booker even if its only for the pop he got.

For a show dubbed the Biggest Party of the Summer, it felt like one dull party >_>

As I said before, Umaga being the monster face that he is can elevate the IC belt like no other right now. Keeping him as the champ was a great idea. As for Kennedy going under, I was a little surprised, but when I think about it, its something I would have done too. Kennedy is going to get a huge rub and hes always got putting Lashley out to fall back on. Losing to a guy like Umaga, won't really hurt him, at least not as much as Carlito who is being re-built here We'll have to wait to see what happens next before we can really declare this a booking succes or failure.

Kennedy being pinned by Umaga can possibly be as bad as being pinned by Super Crazy on his debut match on Raw. And he's going to be huge, one loss to an unbeatable monster isn't the end of the world.

How WWE expects anyone to take him seriously when all hes done is assault tired, old, past-their-prime legends is beyond me. In all likliness, they'll continue the program between Cena and Orton, but theres no way Orton will get his heat back.

That is exactly what the problem is right now. Even the RKO did not put Cena away, then how can people believe that Orton can beat Cena? They cannot. Oh, by the way, Orton even did not get his rematch. But heheck, I am content that he did not. Jobbing to Cena once has been devestating, why jobbing to him twtwice? Fuck the WWE!

I'm guessing the Umaga is back to being the monster heel then? Will Kennedy stay in the IC title picture with Umaga and Jeff?

Good to see HHH back, even though his segment went a little longer than it should have. These words will never leave me: "I'm going to kick you in the baby maker."

So true. After all the hype I was hoping we would get serious HHH, and not the guy who still thinks its 1998. The segment went on too long and even the fans got disinterested as it went along.

Raw was even worse than Summerslam. Can't wait to see who wins tomorrow nights ECW Main Event oh boy.

Fatal Four way was done pretty well too. Miz has definatly improved, and I think this time around Punk will finally get the gold.

God SS was awful, and there's no reason for that on a big 4 PPV, WWE needed AT LEAST a good show here as abysmal as their buyrates have been, and they completely didn't deliver that. There was just virtually nothing to get into here as everything was predictable, boring, or "eh".

I used to have comments, complaints, whatever, but like the guys at PWInsider pointed out, how many times and ways can you say that the PPV's aren't worth the money, and your ripped off if you buy them? There's just no reason to spend any money on WWE product these days because creative is just completely brain dead and it's the same bland wheelspinning crap week in and week out. You want wrestling? Buy old tapes or DVD's, sample a local indy (support 'em if you like 'em), or go get 24/7 instead of watching this fucking dreck.
