But with all the bad money-making decisions the WWE makes, messing up Orton's status would be the most forgiveable for me :)

The 6/11 three hour edition of RAW will feature the 2007 WWE Draft Lottery. This will be the first WWE Draft Lottery since June of 2005.

What are your thoughts on this?

Why do they need a draft lottery when Raw, ECW and SD guys are featured on other brands all the time? Just look at Lashly. If they didn't have the ECW belt in there I would swear he was a Raw wrestler. Matt Hardy is pulling double duty appearing on both Raw and SD each week. But I guess switching it up a bit could freshen things up some. Maybe have some new fueds start, that kind of thing.

I think the WWE lost it's religion, that's why I do not even think twice on not buying a pay per view, it's just not worth it anymore. Maybe having all brands on Wrestlemania, Summerslam, the main couple of pay per views, but having all brands on judgement day, backlash and aparently one night stand, just not worth it. One Night Stand is suppose to be about ECW, not Vince, the asshole.

The Draft Lottery smells like an attempt by WWE to say "see? The brands ARE still seperate!!" but all the cross promotion kills that idea...unless this starts some new feuds or pairs down some of their titles, I don't see the point.

Randy Orton is just a constant pain in the ass right now, and he can't draw a dime, his promos stink, and his work is uninspired unless he's in trouble. I know people want him to matter because of those high profile wins over Mic Foley when that mattered, but it's time to just job this kid out and cut him loose, he's not a threat to them elsewhere, and he costs them more money then he's worth to have him on the payroll.

I see the brand lottery, as a way for the WWE to avoid oushin younger guys (Again!) and just filling the holes on RAW/SD/ECW with veterans.

As for Orton, I could not agree more. I actually sent a e-mail to the guys from PWinsider and I got a respone (Woot!) and they pretty much said the same thing.... Other than Orton being a third-generation superstar, there's no reason why he's still with the company.

He's fairly generic in the ring (relies way to much on chinlocks) sicks on the mic, and as you guys might have heard, he has a tendency to get in trouble. Orton, or anyone else for that matter just isn't worth that much.

But the thing is, he's still got a large fanbase, and that's why he keeps popping up in the ME scene (that and the inuries) hell, I've said the same thing about Orton on different wrestling forums, and I get bombarded by idiotic WWE marks who truly believe that Randy is the Next Rock.... He's not, he's the first Randy Orton, and he sucks.

Who do you think should be moved around? I'm guessing that all three brands are part of this, so CM Punk could end up on Raw, and so on. Who should be where?

I think they'll probably move Matt Hardy to put both Tag Champs on the same brand. Or move Jeff and Deuce and Domino to totally mix up the division.
Then I figure they'll move some Main Eventers from Smackdown and ECW to give Cena some competition.
They'll probably break up a tag team or two, leaving them dead in the water.
I figure Carlito will probably get traded too.

Flair has said he wants to finish his career on SD... He could finish his feud with Carlito and go there after. FInlay would be a nice fit in RAW to help out certain people in the ring (JOHN CENA), Punk could go to SD, I dont' what is, but Punk just fits with Smackdown, and I wouldn't mind seeing MVP vs Punk for the US Title.

At some point I'd like to see the tag titles unfiied, and this could be a way to do it. I'd like to see Benoit go to ECW as well as... The Cruiserweights, but only they're used right and are actually pushed... even if it is on ECW.

Sorry for the double post... This next bit of news is from the Wrestling Observer, so take it for what its worth...

Although not confirmed by WWE on WWE.com, Darren "Droz" Drozdov has been released.

Drozdov competed for WWE from 1998 - 1999 teaming with The Road Warriors and Prince Albert aka A-Train over the course of his career, when an injury during a match with D'lo Brown ended his career and he became a quadriplegic. Drozdov remained a WWE ever since, appearing and the now-defunct "Byte This" program, giving PPV predictions, and appearing on a few WWE DVD productions.

Drozdov's release comes as a big shock to many, as he was guaranteed a "job for life" by Vince McMahon after his accident. Like with all of the other releases lately, Stephanie McMahon is the mastermind behind this one, as she felt that without "Byte This", WWE has little to no use for Drozdov and she feels like Droz has been given more than enough money over the course of 8 years that he should be set for life.

From 1999 - 2005, Drozdov was married to Melanie Vega, a seamstress for WWE. The couple divorced in 2005 and Droz currently has another girlfriend and Vega is in a relationship with WWE superstar Shannon Moore.

WOW Stephanie. Even for you that's an all time low.

I think the Observer is full of shit again. From everything I've heard Droz was given a job for life as much for the obvious reason of not wanting to be sued, as well as Vince just feeling really bad and responsible for the thing (say what you will, but the guy DOES have a heart). I don't buy it until PWInsider says it, because it seems to me just about every other wrestling site on the net has had their sources dry up and they just make shit up, or steal from PWInsider.

I think that one name confirmed to move will be Shitsky, I've heard for awhile now they plan to move him to RAW so he can then feud with Cena who they seem to want to push like Hulk Hogan now in terms of they're just going to feed him monsters to beat now. This would inevitably lead to him doing that big ol' job for the H for the belt.

Beyond that, I just hope WWE is ready to realize they need to move some of the veterans and undercard talents with name value off of RAW and onto the other two brands. These lotteries in the past have tended to mean that RAW gets the best from the other brand(s) and with all the injuries and problems WWE is having with the other two not doing great in the ratings, and the idea of pushing the all brand PPV's, they need to break the roster up more evenly or there's just no point in moving anybody at all.

I think something like that PWInsider would have almost immediately, they usually are right on top of stuff like this because people are ALWAYS calling them up and what not when something major like that happens, or they're calling them.

Also have you noticed that Cena still gets booed every night, record a taping and watch it over a couple times, notice those sounds of anger from the croud, that's because it is anger, even if he tries being a face, he still has no idea to wrestle, just like watching Bobby Lashley, my god.

Anyways what happened to the Show, I haven't seen him on wrestling for a while, did he get layed off?

This is a catchup post covering the posts I'd missed over the last week or 3. My SD post'll be afetrwards.

Heartbreak & pepe had predicted EXACTLY how Taker dropped the title - Heartbreak said Mark Henry would beat up Taker, and pepe said that Edge would cash in; I guess it's just too fucking predictable. o_O

Kennedy still has bad swelling and with the severity of Kennedy's hematoma, he is still looking to be out for 6-8 weeks.

So in other words, the WWE jumped the gun and took the MITB from Kennedy without knowing for certain how much time he was going to miss.... In all likelihood he'll feud with Edge upon his return.

Good to hear.......well, not about the internal bleeding & swelling, but about him coming back sooner than expected; still, that's a rather large kick to the groin for Ken to have lost the MitB prematurely like that. Oh, well; at least a Kennedy/Edge feud sounds promising.

I have seen the '05 rumble, and just because a guy was good 2 years ago dosen't mean he's any good now. Batista's work has slumped bad since his injury, and it's pretty obvious by comments he's made publicly (and those in the back people have reported) is that Batista is a man who has a very high opinion of himself, and it just isn't justified in terms of his work. Triple H made him, and Taker carried him for a couple bouts, but WWE and most of the fanbase have gotten wise to the limits of this guy...plus, he's in his early 40's at this point, so they know they can't really use him long term.

The only reason why he was passable 2 years ago was because of HHH. How much has Hunter saved his pathetic ass in the ring and made the matches watchable? If I am not mistaken, 'tista has not had any good match ever since his feud with HHH was over. One last sentence, Batista is pathetic in the ring if he is left there all by himself.
