Jeff Hardy will be defending his IC title tonight against Khali. Will Jeff pick up an upset or his reign at an end? What do you think is next for him, tag team champs maybe? Hopefully Matt will be able to jump to superstar position on Raw and leave the SD! rat cage.

Batista is 38?! I thought he wasn't even thirty. By the way he looks, he will probably be in the business as long as Ric Flair, well maybe not that long, but still a decade or so.

Batista's got one of those looks that makes it really hard to determine his age. But I heard 40 myself.

Don't believe what Big Dave tells you, my sources say he's just turned 41 or 42, he lies about his age for obvious reasons. Even if he was only 38, 38 is in no way the future of the business, the clock is still ticking on you, it's just that you've probably got a few more ticks if you're not 41 or 42.

No he's not the future, since he's the prime and present at the business currently. He does only look like he's 25 though, which is surprising in most cases.

I think he's proven he's overfuckingrated and John Cena love him or hate him has blown past Batista in every definable way you measure a top guy.

If you're a true ECW fan, do not watch that piece of fucking shit bastardization tommorow. I was wondering how long it'd take before McJerkoff put himself on that show after they were saying "oh, it's the third brand now, it's our baby and fuck the ECW fans". I want the rating on that show to fucking TANK, I am serious as shit here people, let's do our part to tank that fucking rating, even if we can only try droping it to a 1.3, I'm just so disgusted with what is happening with that and to these guys now, and I think it's time to send an even more poignant message to these assholes then has already been sent. Buy a copy of Extreme Rules tommorow and watch that instead, do not watch WWECW on Sci Fi, that whole Vince showing up thing is a joke.

I think he's proven he's underrated and John Cena love him or hate him has blown past Batista in every definable way you measure a top guy.

Although Cena lost so badly against Batista at the Rumble 06, it wasn't even funny. They were tied, but at the end, Cena was a little kid, Batista should have pinned him for a 30 count, Cena was just out of it. I hope they make Batista what he was again. For some reason they made Batista a little more sissier in the past months. Watch New Years Revolution and tell me he wouldn't be able to beat Cena I dare you.

Also remember Cena's return, not only hurting the strongest man in the world, but the strongest man in the world didnt get one blow on him.

I want Vince to make a match with Batista and Cena, just to see Cena get his ass brutaly kicked by the unstopable Legend, the Animal Batista.

2005 was Batista
Batista was WWE that year, until his tragedy with his tricep
Love it or hate it, Batista is an upcoming legend

Triple H made Batista and that's that. Cena is booked ridicolously yes, but Cena trys and busts his ass to do the best he can with what he's got. Batista has matches that inspire fans to groan when he's on offense, and chant "change the channel". He's a crybaby bitch that believes his own hype, has no respect for the guys he works with given the way he's run down SD! in the past, and only started to up his game again a bit since he got the belt back. The best matches of Batista's career are against guys like H and Guerrero, guys who could have good matches with a broomstick. Batista ain't no legend, he's a star that got made into one by legends, and in 10 years most people probably won't even remember him.

Don't forget, Batista has never lost against Guerrero and Triple H, and Batista has a lot of great matches. The one at Royal Rumble 2007 was my favorite, since Batista showed some great mat skills. The only reason Cena "busts his ass" is because Vince and Stephanie McMahon make him, they could easily switch roles with Batista and Cena, its not a biggy for them. Batista has had a lot of great matches, I will never forget him vs Randy Orton the day after Wrestlemania 21, one of the best matches I will see in a lifetime. Also the match he had with Kurt Angle the first day Angle moved to Raw, Angle got owned like never before, Angle usually hits them with something. And probably the best match Batista has EVER had on Raw was him against Kane, now that was crazy. Kane first choke slamed him, then Batista speared, than Kane choke slammed him once, than choke slammed him again, and Batista still refused to lose, than Batista came out of no where with a Batista bomb and won it as simple as one two three. Sadly I have yet to see a good match with Cena to it, and I have always seen NYR and RR and Summerslam and Survivor series, and Cena never delivered a good match. Another classic Batista had was at the rumble of 2004, he had a table match against the Dudleys and man did he give a great match. I was amazed. I know like 20 good matches Batista had, so don't give me this crap that Batista is overated, because the way Vince is planning it, he makes Batista underated having trouble against scrubs like Kennedy.

How about we just keep out seperate opinions to ourselves.

1. It's our opinion.
2. Your a mod and I don't want to get a ban.

Can we deal with that?

For having a difference of opinion and arguing your case against his is not something to be banned over, in fact I would encourage such debate. As long as it's all kept in line there is nothing wrong with comparing your opinions. It's when people start hurling insults at each other over it does it become a problem.

Seeing Taker stare down Cena on Raw was sweet. Now if WWE was smart they would have him do the same thing to Batista so as to give us more suspense on who he will choose to wrestle.

Not too happy with Cena being a double champ though.... Wonder who they could drop the belts to? WGTT is a good candidate.

Looks like Avie may get his wish:

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon was furious at the 1/16 ECW tapings and went nuts backstage after it was all over. He hated the show and was screaming that there wasn’t one guy in ECW who knew how to work.

McMahon was particularly upset with the main event and how bad it made Lashley look.

Vince is said to be mad all the time since that taping. Stephanie, Vince and Dave Lagana had a meeting about the future of ECW with Vince strongly hinting that ECW was on it’s last legs.

Not one guy huh? I do belive we have dvd's of these guys busting their ass and making what ECW was all about. So very sad how all of this turned out. I remember how cool is was during the RVD/Cena match, how at the beginning the crowd refused to take Cena's shirt. 6 times or so over too. This is just like the inVasion angle. Vince somehow screwed up a dream come true situation twice in a row. He botched the WCW vs. WWE fued that people had wanted to see, and now he has botched the ECW revival that fans had wanted for so long..

I got to agree with Avie. While ultimately it won't make much of a difference the best e can do is just change the channel when that show on Tuesday starts... I'd like to think that Vince will show up and do something good, but I really doubt that will be the case.

And the WWE should pull the trigger on Taker-Cena. It would make for a better match than Batista-Taker, although I still believe that Taker should win if he goes against Cena at WM23.

Wow. Two nights in a row WWE Creative was able to surprise me. I was surprised that The Undertaker won the rumble (figured he woulda come 2nd) and I was surprised last night as I watched HBK and Cena become the new World Tag Team Champions.

Creative Surprising me 2 Shows in a row? The last time Creative was able to do that to me was back when I was 10!

Too bad ECW is probably gonna suck 2nite. They could have actually gone for THREE! :o

Remember when we were all excited about The New ECW? Rob Vam Dam was WWE Champ, Sabu was back on his swagger, Heyman Ruled all as a just but Fair Cheif of the Tribe of Extreme, There were rumors of CM Punk getting signed, Big Show was there in his abundant awesomeness, Hardcore Holly was coming back, and Kelly Kelly was taking her clothes off every week.

*SIGH*....Good Times....I'm gonna go make popcorn for the premire of WSX.

It would be good if he stares down Dave and John, as long as he doesn't also appear on ECW, now that would just ruin it.

Not too happy with Cena being a double champ though.... Wonder who they could drop the belts to? WGTT is a good candidate.

Raw hasn't been good would belt handling it seems. Rated RKO was okay, but they were moreso main event material than tag team belt.

Cena is following in Batista's footsteps. They will lose it in a couple weeks.

Smackdown has managed to find a good tag team (London and Kendrick) that I actually hope they have the belts for at least a year till they lose it.

You know what I just realized? I have been enjoying SD a lot these past few months and it just dawned on me on what one of the key differences is. Vince almost never goes there. I've been watching the same "Mr. McMahon" character since the 90's. I'm tired of it ok? Get the hell off tv so you can actually spend some time and get teh creative department in gear and start making stars again. HHH getting hurt like this sould be an eye opener for them to have replacements for people who get hurt or fired.

14-0 yes, and I don't see that changing this year unless he perhaps fights Cena (which is still an option)

I will never ban somebody for disagreeing with me, I'm not that type of an asshole, and I'm not allowed to do that as a moderator. In fact, if you have moderators doing that to you, I strongly encourage you to link me to threads in which this happens and I assure you the issue will definitely be dealt with. We very much want the users to understand the mod team is not here to be like The Kliq and rule over you and treat you badly, we're here to keep the forum clean of crud and enjoyable for all the people who use it responsibly.

As for Batista, I think the guy has potential, I think he has had some very good matches, and had a lot of fire and drive once upon a time. He's been tentative and seemed to lack that fire in my mind since his return, and if he's going to be champ and have a show put on his back, then he needs to step the mother fuck up and make the most of it because it's not just him that is effected by how good or bad he performs, it's every single person in that SD! locker room that is effected. He's the standard bearer, and he needs to take that seriously. Cena has that fire in my mind, he's got a lot of charisma and cuts great promos when he isn't scripted to death. He's limited in the ring, but he does the best he can with what he's got, and when he has the right opponent in there, he can really give you a great performance. So yeah, I'm gonna have to rank Cena above Batista at this point, we've all got guys we're marks for (I'm always gonna be a mark for Raven's work and Taz's) but I don't think that ever has to get to a point where we can't have a bit of disagreement about the merits of a particular guy in the bigger picture.

I still want Benoit a champ again, but for now Vince seems to be eyeing the guys who get more cheers, which partially pisses me off. I would perfer them making Batista a heel who has the belt since Batista does a good job at pissing people off. Batista needs to be heel to get his charisma back edn of story.

Good.

I hope that puss filled induced show burns in a hell fire while Vince's world comes crashing down upon him like the piece of shit he is. It's a shame what ECW has turned into by Vince's hands.

In all seriousness, I hope Vince gets some serious pay back for all the fuck ups he did with ECW and everything else.

Do a bunch of retarded monkeys book the matches for ECW. Most of the shows follow the same stupid format week in, week out. The show never seemed to flow in my eyes, and with hardly any extreme rules matches, it just fucked everytihng up.
They should have kept the extreme rules in there anyway. Its not like the wrestlers have to use weapons in every single match, it just leaves the format of the show more open. Taking extreme ruleso ut just makes it seem as though they dont trust the wrestlers to do what they did best for most of the 90s.
