Well, the pilot episode was shown last night at 11:00 PM. It will air again on Tuesday at 10:30, in other words it will go head-to-head with the second half of that wrestling show on Sci-Fi.

I've heard about the, but have yet to see a show. I know Ricky Reyes (who was one half of the havana Pitbulls in ROH) is the Heavyweight Champ. And I believe Delirious and his crazy antics are a part of the roster aswell.

There's been some popular wrestlers there before, like CM Punk, Low-Ki Austin Aries, Aj Styles among others... And that's pretty much all I know.

If you come across a show, could you please post a link?

I've yet to find a show on the net... I've bought a few DVDs and I'm hoping to add more o the collection as soon as I can. It was Sterling James Keenan that got me interested in IWC, after seeing him wrestle numerous times over here with 1PW he rapidly became my favourite wrestler so I decided to follow his stuff in other places and I'm glad I did because I've fallen in love with IWC already haha.

Thanks for letting me into the club guys :)

I didn't get to see WSW, but I would be interested in watching, they have a few decent names... Jack Evans, Scorpio Sky, Colt Cabana, Chris Hamrick... is Matt Sydal there or did he pull out? I heard a few different rumours...

Matt Sydal was actually in the first match, he lost to Jack Evans. And it looks like the announcers were hell bent on making Sydal a heel. The match was a nice little spotfest. Although, I will say this its a 30 minutes show, and there was about 15 to 20 minutes of wrestling.

Now I wish there was a way I could've watched it... Sydal vs Evans would be a match I'd like to see, although I think I'd prefer the idea of Evans working heel.

I believe it's on tonight at midnight.

Jerry Lawler is drawing Superman:

And 15 to 20 minutes of wrestling is better then what you get on a 2 hour RAW.

so does this mean that Lawler will be done with wrestling for good? I think he's one of the best announcers.

Just a side job. He will still be announcing. Lawler has done art for Mick Foleys kids books so it will be cool to see him draw Superman.

Royal Rumble tonight. Any last minute predictions?

Rumble predictions:

- Hardys vs. MNM

I think the E likes to just constantly bury the same people, and Matt Hardy seems to have gotten out of that department recently, thanks to Jeff.

- That show on Thursday's World Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Test

Obviously, my first reaction is, who cares? I haven't watched that show on Thursday since the PPV fiasco D2D. But I don't think they could conceivably do anything to benefit the show (as the participants of this match show), so Lashley will probably keep the title for years just to make the show that much more boring.

- World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. Mr. Kennedy

Pipe dreams, I know. I don't think Kennedy stands a chance, seeing as he has gotten the advantage over Batista and Taker for the past month, but seeing as he has actually been wrestling regularly on TV, unlike the Animal, I think he deserves the win.

- WWE Champion John Cena vs. Umaga (Last Man Standing Match)

Heh. This is a match type where Umaga can't get beaten by being pinned, so it obviously goes in Cena's favour, considering Umaga's only been pinned once. And who can honestly see anyone keeping that fucking cockroach Cena down for a ten count? He's more resiliant than Rocky.

- 30-Man Royal Rumble Match
My picks are:
- HBK
- Taker
- Orton
- Carlito
- Shelton Benjamin

I don't think either of the bottom two will be likely winners, but Reyrey won it last year, so anything can happen.
HBK seems possessed coming into the rumble, so I think he has a chance.
Taker could go on to face Mr. Kennedy at Wrestlemania for the title, and Kennedy could be the one to beat Taker's unbeaten record at Mania. So this is my favourite scenario :D
Orton is on a roll, and they don't usually have you take out your partner if nothing's gonna come of it. And the E likes pushing this guy no matter how bad he fucks up :(

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2007-01-28 17:25:10

Here's my rumble predictions:

MNM vs. Hardy Boyz

Definitely MNM just because they seem so hell bent on getting their revenge.

Lashley vs. Test

I'm going with Lashley. Test was always sort of a low-life wrestler when he was on Raw. He never really seemed to amount to anything. Now all of a sudden he returns to WWE on ECW and he's one of the brand's top wrestlers. Lashley on the other hand followed the storyline of a new wrestler who rises to the top. He definitely deserves it more than Test.

Batista vs. Kennedy

I think Kennedy will win. Batista winning is too predictable and would make the match suck. Not to mention Kennedy has been escaping all of the little loopholes that have been thrown at him by the skin of his teeth. I think it would be a big shock and would really bring some life back to smackdown.

Cena vs. Umaga

Just like everyone else, I want Umaga to win. I'm tired of Cena never losing and being the champ for really long periods of time. Cena already has his win over the samoan bulldozer so I think it's time for him to just hand over the title. It would also be stupid to see John Cena's amazing recovery after 350 lbs. smashed him through a table. If Cena did make that recovery and go on to defend the title than it would just be more of the same old crap. Please, give us some varitey for once. By the way, does anyone here know that Umaga is Rikishi's brother? I find that to be interesting.

The Royal Rumble

It's hard to say. I already made a prediction in a post I made in the General Forum about how Khali will beat Kane's record and eliminate half of the Rumble Roster. But I definitely don't think Khali will win the rumble because he's not a main event wrestler. I really do hope that Khali leaves his mark in his first rumble but I'd half to say that Shawn Michaels will win. I don't think that RVD will win because I've heard that he's unhappy in the WWE and may go to TNA. I have no hope in Shelton Benjamin or Carlito winning either. At least Rey Mysterio is a top wrestler on smackdown so it wasn't totally out of the question that he would win. Carlito and Shelto on the other hand are just average superstars and I really can't picture them winning. Also, Shelton is in World's Greatest Tag-team and usually superstars who are part of a main tag-team don't win the rumble since it would ruin the team. My second guess for the winner of the rumble would be Undertaker since he's never won and he's the phenom and all that. However, in 2003 Undertaker unexpectedly was in the rumble as the 30th entry coming off of an injury that he had. Even then when it seemed like the odds were in his favor he still lost. My 3rd guess is Randy Orton because as someone else said he wouldn't just blow off his tag-team partner for nothing. Orton is also a top Raw superstar and I can easily picture him main eventing at Wrestlemania. Actually come to think of it, I'm starting to think that HBK won't win. He has already won twice in the past so I think WWE writers would try to get someone new to win. If none of these 3 predictions win than my 4th guess is that one of the surprise superstars in tonight's rumble will win.

I won't ever cheat on my bitch but I'll still sleep with a luger

Well, so far the Hardy Boyz have defeated MNM and Bobby Lashley has defeated Test. With the World Title match currently in progress, I'll just make my predictions for the other two matches.

John Cena (c) vs Umaga - Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship

I don't know why, but I'm gonna say that Umaga will walk out the champ. With Lashley retaining and my confidence in Batista retaining, I believe that Creative will keep things interesting by having Umaga win the title, thus carrying on the feud between him and John Cena.

Winner: Umaga

30 Man Royal Rumble Match - Winner Receives a Title Shot at Wrestlemania

I have nailed it down to two people: Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. It all depends on which angle Creative wants to create using the Royal Rumble, be it the return of The Showstopper or the winning streak of The Undertaker.

Winner: Shawn Michaels OR The Undertaker

Funny how the last two left in wwe.com's ultimate rumble are the same two left in the real rumble. Coincidence? I think not.

I am only allowed to watch Friday Night Smackdown and Impact repeat on Saturday.

So John Cena is going to win at WrestleMania agian. Then keep it for another 10 months.

They should give Deuce and Domino the tag teams titles its been with London and Kendrick, same as C.T.

Well, if John Cena does lose his title (which he hasn't yet), I don't want it to be Umaga. I don't want a champ who can't even speak english. Umaga is controlled by Armando, and that's not WWE Champ material.

Who else wants to see Umage vs. Khali?

London and Kendrick are actually a very good tag team. Very entertaining, I still have yet to get bored of them.

Anyways this Royal Rumble was a bust. This is the third time Undertaker drew the number 30, so it wasn't very surprising, just boring to see him win. Having Michaels as a person to win 3 would have been better, but having Orton or Edge winning the big one would have been complete. Also none of the matches were really that good. Batista showed some amazing matt skills on his match which surprised me.

I really enjoyed that Taker one the Rumble, this was his first time ever winning, and he is actually the first man to draw number 30 and win it. I thought this was an incredibly classy and respectful move on WWE's part, and makes total sense since I can't see any other way to have WWE get Taker and Batista together without turning one of them heel.

RAW has a variety of possibilities for their title match, and it looks like Lashley will face Test yet again for WWECW hunk of tin.

I think WWE though should really push Taker hard this year and then both sides talk about Taker retiring at the end of it. This to me feels like the building up to a great retirement run, I'll certainly be paying attention to SD! now.

Of course a lot of people are thinking that this is the time that Undertaker loses to someone, that someone being Batista. Batista has mat skills as I seen today, he is also heavier than the Undertaker and had one of the most powerful finishers. I hope to Jesus Christ, god, whoever is up there to make the Taker get his arse wooped badly by Batista.

Also Cena winning was a mistake. I have been sick of Cena for almost 2 years, by god he needs to lose.

Batista will get injury kayfabe(?) and the person to get will be Kennedy , Taker will win at WM the World Heavyweight Champion, and on Raw yawn Cena will retian I mean keep.

Batista is in his 40's, there's no reason to have Taker lay down at Mania unless it's to make someone they're going to be able to use for years and years to come. Plus, Big Dave dosen't deserve or need that kind of rub. I think Taker has more then earned taking that streak with him if he wants to, or to at least have it end on an opponent who's going to be able to use it. I hope Taker wins, and I expect him to, but it does create a very interesting situation for Mania as you can't be entirely sure if the title will change hands or not. It's something that I think will really have that big match "Irresistible Force vs. Immovable Object feel". I think this was a great call to make in setting this match up, and in this way, and I look forward to the build and the aftermath, if not the actual match.

I would want Taker to keep his WM streak. So having one last run with a title before he retires is just fine with me. The guy has earned it, so no complaints here. Neat how a # 30 draw has finally won the rumble.
