Hey guys, I'm back! And it feels GOOD! I was formerly P-Bot-Clock, but now, I'm xXx-Effect-xXx. You see, my computer got a bad virius, and since we don't have an anti-virius thingy, I had to go in and fix it myself. Anyway, I really don't have a REAL favorite, (besides RVD), so, if I may, I'm changing my character wrestler to Billy Gunn, and I know it will change again in about 2 months. Anyway, speaking of Billy Gunn...

He returns at the Royal Rumble on the 25th. And I have a question to ask you guys. Here it goes:
What is your favorite Billy Gunn finisher? Is it:
A. - The Fame Asser
B. - The One and Only
C. - The Gunn Stinger.
Now, about that finisher, the Fame Asser counts at anytime, I.E. - a diving Fame Asser or a Running Fame Asser, or just a regular Fame Asser from a grapple position.) So please, tell me. Thank you. Peace!

P.S. - It sure is great to be back!

actually, i sort of thought Noble played a cool face. Still, aside from Tajiri, there are no other competing cruiserweight heels,

Maybe chavo will be a good heel.

I had a thought, which hurt, the Royal Rumble is almost here and we still don't know who will have the fabled 30 spot..We do know Benoit has the unlucky 1 spot. So I wonder who will get # 30...maybe we'll find out on Raw.

I just got through watching HeAt, and the match between Venis and Orton was GREAT! I mean, not that the fact that Orton won, but the fact that Venis weakened him to vulnerabillity at tomorrow's IC Title match on RAW, angainst RVD. YES! W00T! RVD's gonna win one for the r0x0rs! Anyway, who's looking forward to that match? I am. Peace!

Hey Outlaw88, I have to ask you something: Do you know HTML? If not, I'll be glad to teach you, if you want to know. I mean, you do a whole lot for this club, and without your assistance, everyone knows that this club couldn't be all it is now. So, if you want to know, I'll teach you, (with the exception that you don't want to learn or you already know.) Alright. Just feeling a bit stoked at the success of this club. So, just tell me if you... Meh, you know what to do. Peace!

Do I know HTML? Nope, haven't got a clue..but sure I'm always up to a challenge, so yeah i'd like to learn. (That's for a website right? My computer lingo sucks sometimes)

I also saw Heat, it was a decent show, and it had Matt Hardy which was good. The Orton/Venis match was good as well but I don't think they will make him seem vulnerable tonight, but maybe Val will get in the mix somehow..

ROOK'S LIVE EVENT SYNOPSIS!!!!!!!!!
From Mile One Stadium, St.John's, Newfoundland
Cue "Welcome to the Jungle"
Out comes Howard Finkle to a decent pop. The Fink welcome's us and thanks us for being in attendance and lays the ground rules (no video cameras, lazer pointers, etc.) The Fink asks us to stand for the Canadian Nation Anthem, which is interrupted halfway through by La Resistance. Apperantly, their anti-Canadian as well, as they proceed to badmouth Newfoundlanders. Rene Dupree gets big time laughs when he says in a weird half French/half Newfie accent "Ya can kiss me arse, b'ys!" Then out runs Spike Dudley to another decent pop.
SPIKE DUDLEY DEF. RENE DUPREE - Standard Spike match, in which Spike got the roll-up after knocking Dupree into Conway and pulling the tights. Spike got a small ECW chant at the start of the match, and the crowd cheered for every Dudley Dawg.
VAL VENIS AND LANCE STORM DEF. JOBBERS - I didn't catch the names of their opponents, unfortunatley. Whenever Val was in the ring, the audience gave a non-stop "We want Lance" chant. High points of the match was Lance applying the Maple Leaf. Lance got the pin with a cross-body, and the crowd went nuts. Everyone was 100% behind Storm.
"This is a Test...."
Out comes Test, telling us all about how he and other mainlanders are right to joke and laugh about Newfs. We're all hillbillies, and need to buy toothbrushes. In fact, he's glad he left Canada, because it sucks, but Newfoundland is the worst place of all. However, his tirade is ended when the music hits...
"I'll Show You, You'll See!!!!"
STEVIE RICHARDS DEF. TEST - The crowd gave Stevie a decent sized pop as he ran into the ring and immediately hammered away at Test. The crowd loves Richards, and the highest point of the match was Richards gearing up for a Super Kick ala Shawn Michaels.
WOMEN'S FOURWAY ELIMINATION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - Contestants: Jazz, Lita, Molly, Trish. Biggest pop: Trish. Most Heat: Jazz. Jazz eliminates Lita, Trish eliminates Jazz, Molly eliminates Trish. Not a great match, but not bad either.
BATISTA DEF. THE HURRICANE - Huge pop for the Hurricane. Batista got some heat, but Randy Orton got the most when he ran out and interfered (followed up by Batista's sitdown powerbomb), costing Hurricane the match. I must say, Hurricane is a great seller. He took 2-3 minutes to get backstage. You would really believe he was injured.
Jindrak and Cade are out next, to some minor heat, but then Drop the Bombshell hits and the crowd goes wild. ENORMOUS pop, biggest pop of the night for the Dudleys. This is followed by a "We want Tables" chant. Cade says "the only way you idiots will see tables is when we put this guys through one" The tables chant then turns into an "Asshole" chant.
THE DUDLEYS DEF. JINDRAK AND CADE - The crowd really came alive for this one. I guess I was the only Newf who prefered The Mighty, Mighty CadeDraks. Highest point in the match was Spike making the save for his brothers after Jindrak got the table. One Dudley Dawg and a 3D later, Jindrak was through the table, pinned and thats all she wrote. After the match, the Dudleys shook hands with the fans and brought a little kid into the ring to pose with a piece of the table.
INTERMISSION
RANDY ORTON DEF. CHRISTIAN TO RETAIN THE IC TITLE - Christian played a total face. Huge pos for the following lines: "Orton, you're a stupid son of a bitch. But don't worry Batista. You're a stupid son of a bitch, too." and "I'm gonna win for all my St.John's peeps". The crowd really loves Christian. High spots included an early roll-up by Christian as Orton posed and flexed, and an Unprettier reversed into an RKO reversed into a Neckbreaker. The finish saw a belt shot followed by an RKO for Orton to retain.
Out comes Earl Hebner to HUGE heat and a "You screwed Bret" chant, followed by Matt Hardy, who gets cheap heat with a comment about beating Booker T the same way Michaels beat Hart.
BOOKER T DEF. MATT HARDY - Outstanding match. The crowd was really into it, but the only high spots were the Spin-a-Rooni and the Siccors Kick which put Hardy away.
MAIN EVENT: CHRIS JERICHO DEF. KANE - excellent match. The best part of the match was when Kane set up a Tombstone on a steel chair. Before he could execute it, TRISH ran otu to make the save!!! Kane went to chokeslam her, but recieved a lowblow from Jericho. After the pin, they shook hands, after which Trish hugged Jericho. Foreshadow of their on screen relationship?

I took alot of pictures, and came within reaching distance of Kane and Steven Richards. However, I couldn't get autographs (no one stopped long enough), and my cousin got us kicked out before we could buy any souviniers.

The wwe only comes around my location once a year or less and I missed my chances but no worries.

In the royal rumble I hope goldberg gets tossed out the minute he enters. If a smackdown superstar wins I betting Angle for Raw Kane. as for jericho and trish who cares end it now. lets hit the town sexy beast style and sheriff austin whipping dougnuts was the funniest part of tonight.

I was a bit dissapointed with RAW that Mick Foley was a no-show. Although Matt was back. And he faced off with Goldberg in a quick match. The Randy Orton vs. RVD match was pretty good. I hope next week Mick makes some kinda of comeback.

wow sorry for not posting the # and names, but with the problems that happened yesterday I counldn't log on NG!

I just checked out backstagewrestling.com, and Spanky has given wwe his notice. First Dragon, now Spanky. Any guesses as to who the next cruiserweight to quit will be? Personally, and I hate to say it, they should all quit, then they can get decent pushes and angles in TNA or Japan. And that also goes for Dreamer, Kanyon, Rhyno, Matt Hardy, Rosey, Steven Richards, The FBI and any Diva who can actually wrestle (Molly, Jazz, Victoria)

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-01-14 13:01:30

that sure cuts the roster doesn't it? What I think they should do is actually give some of them a chance, what can it really hurt right? Thing is WWE has the oportunity to push many of those named, but don't, and I just can't see why not..what's so hard about putting them on tv in a fued with each other? Oh yeah, the other talent will get pissed that they take away some of their air time...Thats what really bothers me, when you know you are on top you should help out the guys trying to make it to anything..Put some of them over, sell some moves, job a few times. Not piss and moan that nobody should beat you, or complain to vince that losing to up and comming talent is bad...A few top guys have done that, and it pisses me off...What really needs to change is the older guys getting close to the end of their wrestling career doing all of the above..it makes no real sense to me...

wow that was quite a rant huh?

Outlaw, I changed mine from Jarrett to Triple H quite some time ago. So Jeff Jarrett is open, just to let you know.

I read on one of those sites I posted that Mick will not come into RAW for quite a few weeks yet. Why? I don't know. I never finish reading the news before I'm overwhelmed with pop-ups.

HBK for World Heavyweight Champion!
