Just a bit of a housekeeping note:

Please do not post links to, or request WWE footage here. Vince Mcmahon and WWE have been cracking down on any site which distributes their copyrighted content without their permission. If I see anyone here requesting, or posting links to such footage, you will be banned under NG's piracy rules. I am unsure how other companies handle sites like Youtube, but rule of thumb is if you see any copyright indicia on the footage, and are unsure if you're allowed to post a link to it without repercussions to yourself or Newgrounds, please be smart and don't post it. We wouldn't want NG shut down over something so stupid would we?

LordKooler's Friday Night SmackDown! review
1.Batista & Lashley vs Finlay & William Regal
Bastista & Lashley won at the end.
2.Layla/Kristal/Jillian Segment
2006 Diva Search Winner Layla El comes out and does a little dance. Then Kristal comes out and the two get into a fight. Then Jillian Hall comes out and takes off her top, layla's top, and kristal's top. Michael Cole made a mistake on commentary saying that Jillian Hall was JBL's Image consultant. Jillian wasn't JBL's Image consultant, Amy Weber was. She left WWE last year due to harassment from JBL & Randy Orton during a flight to Anchorage, Alaska. I'm surprised JBL didn't mention her by name.
3.Gregory Helms vs Matt Hardy
A good match. Matt Hardy won at the end. If his reign as Cruiserweight champion continues, Gregory Helms will surpass JBL as Smackdown's longest reigning champion.
4.The Miz vs Funaki
The Miz won at the end.
5.Chavo Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio
The match ended in a no contest when Vickie Guerrero got involved.
6.Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs The Pit Bulls (Kid Kash & Jamie Noble) vs KC James & Idol Stevens
It should'ive been saved for No Mercy. But despite that, This is a really good match. London & Kendrick won at the end to retain the Tag Team Titles.
7.Sylvan vs Tatanka
Sylvan cuts a promo in French in his home province of Quebec. During the match, The crowd was chanting "Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole!" When I heard that, I actually thought that El Generico was gonna come out. I would'ive marked out hard if he actually appeared and gave both Sylvan & Tatanka the BRAINBUSTAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Sylvan won at the end. When will Tatanka's losing streak end?
8.King Booker vs Undertaker
Undertaker won by DQ.

Just a quick question about the video posting: What about some of the stuff LK finds, like matches from Japan and so on? Those still ok?

The Miz is getting a bit of a reaction, as his role right now is to show that he can wrestle and to annoy everyone. So really he's looking to be booed.

I know that, but my point is the Miz is drawing anything, no one wants to see an idiot prancing around the ring everytime he does a hip toss to the opponent... I just think that the term "X-Pac heat" will be replaced by "Miz heat" in just a couple of months.

ANd Outlaw abot the matches that LordKooler posts, I believe those are ok to post because its only the WWE who doesn't want their videos distributed. In other words, no ECW, WCW and WWF/WWE because they're all owned by the same dude,

TNA, ROH, NJPW all these can be posted because their owners are not total dicks, and have realized that the Internet can actually draw some fans to their companies.

They are putting on a hell of a program.

Yea, it was not bad for a show which rating had dropped to a new low 2 weeks ago. The Taker vs Booker match was great, but I do not like the DQ finish. For apparent reasons, there are many DQ outcomes in Taker's matches. I personally consider a DQ finish the lamest among all the outcomes, and it ruined a great match. Why does the creative team have to have DQ finish in almost every Taker's match? Also, the ME of RAW also ended with a lame DQ, and i am fed up with those untalented creative team already. Cena is scheduled to make a SD! apparence next Friday. The best thing is to see him getting his butt booed out of the building as a babyface. :D As for Layla, I do not think that she is even close to be called a hottie, and I am very surprised that JT did not win the Diva Search. It looks like that they are going to have a Layla vs Kristal feud. :P

As far as I know, yes, I have not heard of any company other then Vince going after sites like YouTube to have their video footage pulled off, I'll be trying to contact some folks in the know though today and see if they can ask their contacts for me what the policy is. As far as I know only Vince is cracking down about unauthorized distribution of his footage. So definitely no WWE links or requests here ever.

JT is much hotter but Layla won because of her spunk and charasima, she was probably the worse looking one of the won 10 diva hopefuls. Now she needs to get some training before having a match agianist kristal, not that anyone would care, but I liked crystal when she was a backstage annoucer.

OK, last Sunday my predictions pretty much stunk. I ended up going 2-4-1, with Cena and DX winning, and Kane/Umaga being a double countout (I look at that as a DRAW). Hopefully I have better luck tonight with TNA's No Surrender PPV. Here are my last minute predictions:

Ultimate X match for the NWA World Tag Team Championship
Latin American Exchange (c) vs. A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels
Styles and Daniels are Ultimate X veterans, so they have the upper hand. I think they will win back the gold.

"Fan's Revenge" Lumberjack Match
Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe and the fans will beat "Double J" to within an inch of his life

TNA X Division Championship
Senshi (c) vs. Chris Sabin
Chris Sabin will be the NEW X Division Champion

Rhino vs. Christian Cage
Christian will probably find a way to win, but I choose Rhino.

Triple Threat No Disqualification Match
Abyss vs. Raven vs. Brother Runt
In this match anything can (and probably will) happen. Raven will stand tall.

Petey Williams vs. Jay Lethal
Gotta go with one of the most devastating finishers around, the Canadian Destroyer. Petey Williams for the win.

Eric Young vs. A-1
Don't know why I'm not taking A-1 in this match. Somehow, I got a feeling E-Y will win.

Triple Chance Tag Team Battle Royal
America's Most Wanted, The James Gang, The Naturals, The Papparazzi, The Diamonds in the Rough, Matt Bentley/Kazarian, Ron Killings/Lance Hoyt and Shark Boy/Norman Smiley
Wow. This is probably the toughest match to predict. I choose The "Newly Franchised" Naturals to take it all.

The surprise for TNA is....

After the match, Jim Cornette came out with Jarrett in the ring for the announcement. Cornette says on Thursday, 11/16, TNA goes two hours in prime time.

Finally... TNA is going to two hours, will this be enough to challenge the WWE? Maybe... what's that. you'r not excited? I'm not done...

Now for the BIG news... Its time to change my signature... The wrestling machine... Kurt Angle is going to TNA!!

Cornette said that wasn't the big surprise, he shows a pre-recorded segment showing Kurt Angle work out in the ring. Yes, Angle is TNA's major announcement. Jarrett looks stunned in the ring as fans chant "Angle, Angle" as the PPV ends.

How long before Joe and Angle go at it?

Sorry for the double post... but TNA is not going to be two hours it will remain a one-hour show, its just going to air at 9PM. However when it does go to primetime on November 16th it WILL be a two hour show, after that it will go back to being one hour.

Don't bother going to the TNA website, its under some extreme laod so if you go to the page all you'll see is a pic of Angle saying something like... Our ring has six sides, but only One Angle.

As for Angle, this is a bit of what he said on his website...

"Being with TNA feels like I found my home," Kurt Angle commented. "TNA will be the most watched show on cable TV - it's just a matter of time. Thank you TNA for saving my career, my life and my desire to do what I love."

What about the no-compete clause by the WWE? Will this affect when Angle debuts?

And does this mean that the WWE will have to ut on a better show to compete with TNA?

If TNA holds off and allows Angle to heal up, and he stays healed up, he will be a valuable asset to TNA, and will be that big star they need to create the interest and buzz they need.

But Angle's track record is that he tries too much to gut through horrible injuries, and has allowed his morale to deteriate. Hopefully Angle will get better and bring his A-Game, and that TNA will be committed to helping Angle be an asset to them. It's been fairly obvious that with the mindset Angle has had of late, he's no asset to anyone, and is only mortgaging his long term health, and could easily be another Jeff Hardy to TNA (somebody who makes a lot of money to never reach his potential before finally leaving).

He may have a deal in which he can show up and talk, but not wrestle until the clause is up. Ric Flair had a similar deal when he went to WCW for the second time, and he was given a talk show segment to do until it was up.

I don't when Angle will wrestle, but regardless this is big, for another reason. This is similar to when Nash and Hall went to WCW (it was a big deal at the time). All I can say is that the WWE better lace up their boots and better start putting on a better show, because TNA finally has that one big name that can draw fans to their product...

This is going to be one hell of a ride, and for the first time in quite a while its going to be great being a wrestling fan... Its Damn true!

I like that TNA signed Angle, but I hate this...

"Being with TNA feels like I have finally found my home. I had fun in WWE at certain times, but I was never really happy. Now being a part of TNA, I know I have a purpose. I feel like I am part of history, part of a company that is not only on the rise – not only going to be the number-one watched wrestling show in the world within a short period of time – but TNA gives me an opportunity to spread my wings. This company has no limits to where it can go. The sky is the limit and the main reason is because they brought the “real” back into wrestling and that is a perfect fit for the greatest wrestler in USA Olympic history. I have room to grow here and to help TNA grow. Working for these caring and very giving employers of TNA makes me feel like I have a purpose and that the sky is the limit. I don’t feel trapped or held back like I did the first six years in my tenure with the other company. They held me back. Now, our wonderful audience will see the real Kurt Angle doing what I love to do – real wrestling – and that’s what puts a smile on my face each time I come to work. I even smile when I think about it. TNA will be the most watched television show on cable television. It’s only a matter of time. Now, I get the opportunity and privilege of being a part of it. Thank you TNA for saving my career, my life and my desire to do what I love. I will be here in some capacity for the rest of my life. That’s real…that’s damn real."

Held back? The WWE held him back? Exactly how was he held back? He was allowed to put his body through hell and back, he was allowed to main event Wrestlemania with a badly injured neck, hell, he was even allowed to do a moonsault of the top of a cage.. And when his body was completely battered the WWE did what they thought was best for Angle's well-being, so don't say you were held back.

Like I said its great to see Angle with TNA... But just like Rhyno, the Dudleyz and other former WWE wrestlers, Angle has resorted to take shots at the WWE.. That's what I don't like.

My name is pepeatumi... But you already knew that!

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-09-25 16:46:57

TNA won't use him to the capacity that WWE has. They have tons of other great talent that they have done relatively little with, and I don't expect Angle to do very many matches on TV, even after the no-compete clause runs out.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-09-25 17:45:27

This sounds like the Highlight of last night's No Surrender PVP:

• Triple Chance Battle Royal: The Naturals (Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas) defeated America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris & James Storm). The other participants were The James Gang (BG James & Kip James), The Paparazzi (Alex Shelley & Johnny Devine), The Diamonds In The Rough (Elix Skipper & David Young), Matt Bentley & Frankie Kazarian, Ron Killings & Lance Hoyt, and Shark Boy & Norman Smiley.

Dude, I fucking love Lance Hoyt! I hope They use him more on T.V! Maybe he and Killings can take a shot at the titles. Speaking of, When Do The Naturals have their match?
