Kurt Angle issued a statement in the form of a letter addressed to his fans on his official website, www.KurtAngleWWE.com this evening.

After reading it, This sounds a lot like damage control to me. Like Kurt is trying to premptively save his image and maybe block Vince and company from going forward with any sort of attack on him to either help their website hits, or force Kurt to address his problems. Not that I'm saying Kurt was neccessarily working here, I hope he meant every word, but considering that he is painting a pretty rosy picture of his family life, and it's been reported just about everywhere that that isn't the case....sounds like there's a bit of fiction writing in here.

If they do, it's going to be pretty small in terms of prescence. Probably the TV Show arena, and the ONS ring, and graphics of ECW for the guys who are in it, but otherwise, most of this game was most likely finalized before ECW was ressurected. So if you want to see ECW as a full-fledged brand, with most of it's roster appearing in WWE games, I'd say you'll be waiting until next year.

I can't say O'm surprised about Angle, he's trying to look like the good guy in this situation, I guess he just can't accept that being released was for his own good.

I read this article a couple of days ago and it made some good points. When angle debuted he had his three I's (in kayfabe anyways) but reality he only had intensity, and the other two were replaced by idiocy and illness.

Angle talked about integrity, but he violated that when he decided to be outspoken about his matches and storyline and he sure as hell wasn't intelligent, because his drive to succeed to be the best made him forget about one major thing... taking care of himself.

His wife left him, and instead of taking some time off he chose to keep on wrestling, he a badly injured neck (since the olympics in 96) and instead of getting neck surgery (and probably missing 9 to 12 months) he had a different surgery which only made him miss about two or three months, even though it would cost him more in the long run.

His stubbornness drove him to greatness, unfortunately it was also the same thing that knocked him off of the top of the mountain, its a sad state of affairs but if Angle had only done things differently he wouldn't be out of a job.

It sucks because a lot of us, got to see Angle rise up first as an olympic gold medalist, and then as a pro wrestler, only to see him fall into an abyss in a matter of months.

Here's hoping Angle can keep himself calm for a couple of months, and when, not if he comes back he'll reach the top of the mountain once again.

I hate double posting but, I saw this and it made me laugh.

Jeff Hardy is ranked number 21 in the WWE Power Rankings, in that same page it says, keep an eye on,,,

Jeff Hardy – After taking out Gregory Helms on SmackDown, Hardy looks poised to join his brother on the P25.

I guess this goes to show you just how little the WWE cares about Matt.

That power 25 chart is a load of crap. Jeff has had two matches and he gets on the list. Explain to me how that makes sense.

It doesn't make any sense.

As far as the pic of Sabu it actually looks really good, kind of like what he looks like in the Fire Pro wrestling games from SNES.

Wouldn't it be something when the next joint ppv comes around if both hardy's had gold? It would be the first time in a very long time that they would be seen together on air. I think that would be a good moment.

I think that would be the Survivor Series and I can pretty much guarantee that at some point they're going to run into each other backstage or who knows since they're on different brands, they may even end up facing each other, which would be a good match.

That should be the case. But too be honest, I would rather see the reunion of Hardy Brothers than seeing both of them as separate champions for minor titles.

A bit of Smackdown news to pass on...

-- WWE World Champion King Booker vs. Batista

-- WWE United States Champion Ken Kennedy will make a shocking announcement.

Both the match and Kennedy's announcement have been confirmed for next Friday's Smackdown. I wonder what Kennedy has to say?

That is actually a really good pic. I never knew people could make that type of anime, I always thought it was just skinny people with big heads and huge eyes.

Man, sorry I've been gone awhile, guys. Happy 500+ pages, by the way. I've been keeping up with wrestling (except TNA) and I think it's been on a downward spiral. Shame how things happened at SummerSlam with Hogan vs. Orton. That bastard Hogan...he needs to check his ego and get it sized down.

Well, other than that, who here is slighty anticipating John Cena's new movie? As an action film buff, I have to say I am.

Until tonight on RAW, I'll see ya's later.

At least one match has been announced for tonight's RAW.

Johnny Nitro will defend the IC title against Jeff hardy. I thought this match was going to take place at Unforigven, guess I was wrong.

Also I read something odd... Word is that Carlito has been told backstage to "act like The Rock." I want to say something about this, but I'll do it later.

How bout they let Carlito act like Carlito? Jeeze why do they have to copy everything?

I would have thought the Jeff/Nitro match would be a ppv thing too, but whatever. As long as they put on a good show I can't complain too much.

With the way how the WWE is trating with the IC title, I am not surprised that the match will be on RAW. I am also 90% sure that Hady will win the title and start a feud against Masters. Just wait and see.

Really? I wonder if they just mean, like, the cocky attitude, or a blatant imitation of The Rock.

I liked the Rock. One of the big guns when I first started watching wrestling. I wish he'd come back someday, but if he's happier doing movies, good for him.

He was always great, especially on the mic, but he's stated in a couple of interviews that's he's completely through with the wrestling business.

Cryme time? Just when RAW was in the process of being of the better shows in a while, we get Cryme Time? Didn't ECW do this with Public Enemy long ago? Hell, doesn't TNA has something a bit similar with LAX? I mean, come on.. Cryme Time?

They better be great wrestlers or this shit is going to blow.

My mistake.... it wasn't Public Enemy, it was The Gangstas, still Cryme Time isn't a very original gimmick.

Black stereotypes for the lose.

But I'm pretty optimistic about their skills, but not for any reason beyond black people in general being pretty athletic. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

These guys sound more like they'll be like Public Enemy. The Gangstas was a couple of hardcore street brawlers who just fought and bled. PE could do that too, but were also very comedic in their promos and overall gimmick, especially when they went face. The press releases suggest that Cryme Time will be doing that as well, so it sounds like they are ripping off Public Enemy more then anyone else. Also, why the FUCK is Super Crazy on RAW now?

Its better for him to be on RAW... ECW is a one hour show and Crazy would probably just get lost in the shuffle along with some of the other ECW talent.
