Ah, the Smackdown VS Raw series isn't that fun. It's too hard to controll the wrestlers. I think I'll with with Day of Reckoning 2, just because of that.

Anyway, not many surprises here in terms of roster, I've also heard Chris Benoit should be back by about next month...on SD! from the way it sounds. I still say moving him to ECW would be great for him.

It was just something that scumbag porn mogul Rob Black decided was a good idea. I watched one video of it, and I've seen a couple matches included on the Hardcore Homecoming and Forever Hardcore DVD's because they couldn't use ECW footage. Not to mention them getting their wannabe asses kicked out in the parking lot of the Olympic Auditorium during ECW's first and only (so far) California PPV.

I agree with you on this. XPW was the worst wrestling promotion of all time and Rob Black is the worst wrestling promoter of all time. In the part about the ECW wrestlers in Joe. L's XPW column, He says that John Kronus makes Tank Abbott look like Ricky Steamboat. Which XPW video did you watch? XPW treated other promotions like Ian Rotten's IWA Mid South and England's FWA like crap. At one time, Chris Hero, Colt Cabana, and CM Punk were supposed to wrestle at an XPW show. But XPW advertised them as graduates of their training school. All three no showed because of that. IWA MS and FWA eventually broke all ties with XPW. Remember that incident where Rob Black hired hitmen to cut off the Messiah's thumb in 2002 after he left XPW for CZW? That was one of the most disgusting things Rob Black has ever done. Hearing about that incident just makes me feel sorry for the Messiah. Thank god Messiah survived that attack.

Don't get me wrong, Chris Benoit would be one of the best on ECW, but remember how badle hurt Kurt Angle got, I don't think Chris Benoit want's to be to risky, especially after he just healed up from what crap Mark Henry pulled on him.

Submittion manuvers only end a match well when a really cool move is made just before it or when some kind of event occurs after or inbetween the submission.

What's XPW now? Never heard of it - it was obviously an ECW rip, sounds like. So, this Joe Black guy really hired hitmen to cut off some gut's thumb? (I'm to guess The Messiah's a wrestler, obviously...)

And the 2007 game lineup confirmations sound kickass. I'd love to actually use The Boogeyman! :P

damn I thought Hardy's match tonight was for the title. Oh well, at least he got the win.

I hope that's just a part of the roster for the game, as some that I would definatly want in it seem to be not there. But who am I kidding, I'll probably buy the game anyway.

Dam, I missed tonight's Smackdown, I guess I will have to watch the repeat later tonight. Wicked that Hardy wins, he should have a chance at the World Title, he deserves it unlike Jeff.

No, I knew he was going against Helms, but still I would like to see him pin Booker, he could make it happen, but Vince would never do that, well at least I think he wouldn't do that. :P

Read about it here. That attack got lots of media coverage and made an appearance on an episode of America's Most Wanted (The TV show. Not the tag team.)

I am sure that Hardy is going to win the title soon. The fact is that Jeff will get at least an IC title push immediately which means that Matt will finally say goodbye to the jobber land for now thanks to his brother.

There's one thing that kinda gets me...

All of these much smaller companies like CZW, XPW, IWA, ROH and more- if these are not televised programs, then how do they become more well-known?

Angle was hurt BEFORE going to ECW, that's why they put him there, because he could work a lot less, and maybe be protected that way. Benoit's "injury" at the hands of Henry was a work. He took time off because his wife Nancy got surgery I heard, so he took the time off to help her recover, and spend time with his kids.

They have localized TV in their home markets, and theirs the DVD's and tapes they put out. That's how ECW got known, the underground tape trader community selling or trading tapes of shows to their friends. It's the best way for indies to get noticed, and also gives them an extra revenue source.

So bad news regarding Angle's departure from the E.

According to Keith Lipinski, WWE sent the following via its Mobile Alerts program:

"According to sources, the meeting between WWE Execs & Kurt Angle was heated & confrontational. Angle was an emotional wreck departing WWE Titan Tower."

It remains to be seen why WWE is no longer attempting to protect Kurt Angle's image in its stories about the release.

In the words of a great man.... D'oh!

He also gave a small preview of the book he is working on.

So what do you guys think of the Miz's in ring debut?

Oh, I didn't get to see all of newgrounds. I watched one fight, than I got bored of it, although before I started playing video games, I overheard that ECW is going to be able to be seen in Canada now. I haven't got to see it yet, so I'm siked, although I got the worst time to get it. Right when Kurt leaves. Oh well, I can;t wait to see the roster they have.

I still have hopes for an ECW game, though with my luck it will be for the PS3. Not that I don't want to get one, it's just that it will take me a long time to save up for it.

I tried to post this last night, but I was abruptly cut off, soooooo here's my (now officially called):

Assi9's SmackDown Blah-Blah-Blah

Vickie Guererro tries to explain herself
I'M SICK OF THIS! I have nothing more to say on the subject.

The Miz debuts: vs Tatanka
I'm kinda' glad Mizanti won, despite poor Tatanka's bad luck strain. I love seeing JBL get pissed off, just because I find him irritating.

3-Way Match for US Title: Mr. Kennedy vs Finlay vs Bobby Lashley
Here I actually was expecting the Cage Match suggestion when ol' Teddy Long came out, but instead Lashley was brought out. However,..........

KEEEEEENNNNEEEEEEEDYYYYYYY WIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEDYYYYYYS!

Sorry, just had to do that. :) I'm actually glad he won the title; I guess his cockiness & self-intro have grown on me.....heel or not.

Promo: Jimmy Wayne Yang
I'm starting to like this guy; I like counters to stereotypes.

Matt Hardy vs Gregory Helms
I had forgotten who won the match last night, so I'm glad an earlier post refreshed my mem:
HARDY WON FOR A CHANGE! I guess I'd forgotten because I haven't been used to it happening.

The Hooligans vs The Pitbulls
I wasn't paying attention to this one, mainly since it's just 'same old, same old' to me.

Part 2 (to avoid interruptions from my comp):

Promo: The Boogeyman
C'mon, hurry up already! Come back to SmackDown already!

Vito vs Sir (LOLZORS) William Regal
I'm glad Vito got a different opponent this time. Regal nearly threw up, so he fled Dodge. Tee-hee.

MVP whines
I think it's cool that Cole & JBL agree on something here: PUT UP OR SHUT UP. Goddamn, show us what you're made of, and we'll spop harassing ya'. Simple as that.

Contract signing for next week: Batista vs King Booker
Well, Charmel brought this on herself..... King Booker also brought on himself not one, but TWO CONSECUTIVE BATISTA BOMBS THROUGH THE TABLE. Hey - someone needed to shut him the fuck up. He wants to talk down to everyone, he'll get beat down by them.

I think they are sticking ECW with Smackdown Vs Raw 2007. I can't wait for TNA to come out for Wii =D.

LordKooler's Friday Night SmackDown! review
1.Guerrero segment
Yet another week of Eddiesploitation. I'm getting really tired of this and they should just leave Eddie alone. I have a feeling that this is gonna win the 2006 WrestleCrap Gooker award and Wrestling Observer's Most disgusting promotional tactic of 2006. The Eddieploitation angle is currently in the Wrestlecrap board's Worst Angle ever tournament topic where it recently defeated WCW's Black Scorpion angle in Round 2. Rey Mysterio comes out and says that last week was the lowest point of his career. Then Vickie Guerrero comes out and says that she wants to move on. It ends with Vickie saying that she became Chavo's business manager and slaps rey.
2.Matt Hardy vs Gregory Helms
A good match. Matt Hardy won at the end.
3.The Miz vs Tatanka
Miz won at the end.
4.Ken Kennedy vs Finlay vs Lashley
It was originally Finlay vs Kennedy. But Theodore Long added Lashley to the match to make it more special. It was a great match. Ken Kennedy won at the end to become the new U.S. Champion.
5.Vito vs William Regal
Before the match, Regal grabbed the mic and talked about being knighted by King Booker last week. This was filled with comedy spots like Vito flashing Regal. When Vito tried to put Regal's head under his dress, Regal walked out of the ring and Vito won by count out. Who will end Vito's winning streak?
6.MVP interview
In this interview, MVP says that he can beat anyone on the Smackdown roster and brag about his athletic ability.
7.London & Kendrick vs The Pit Bulls
After London & Kendrick won, KC James & Idol Stevens & The Pit Bulls attack the Tag Team champs.
8.King Booker/Batista contract signing
I don't really feel like talking about this. At the end, Batista gave King Booker a Spinebuster through the table.
