I'm hoping this is shown on TV...

For those who may have missed it, WWE announced that the first-ever Sabu vs. Kurt Angle match will take place this October during the combined Raw/ECW events in Japan.

My name is pepeatumi... But you already knew that!

Well, this is my collection (at the moment):
Tombstone: History of the Undertaker
Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior
Bloodsport: ECW: The Most Violent Matches

I plan on getting ONS2 with that Barely Legal PPV bonus in the near future.

As for the Top 10 that Redangle posted, good. I could disagree with some of the stuff, but I'm not gonna get into that. Hope to see next weeks Top 10.

I'm going to start a new weekly thing. As most of you guys have your thing (Red's Rants and whatnot) I am going to have...Frogman's Frections. It's basically my reflection of what went down on Smackdown and Smackdown only...seeing how I don't have cable...well I do have cable...but it's basic cable. In other words...no USA or Sci-Fi. Therefore I am going to debut the first official Frogman's Frections.

First of all, let me start off by saying I am no longer reading Smackdown Spoilers. The last spoiler I read was the spoiler between Rey and Booker (last week). The Spoiler I read before that one...was a looooooooooong time ago. It's like I remember someone saying...the action is so much better when you're not spoiled...otherwise you can basically predict what's going to happen next (oh, the ref turned his back, I guess here's where the shilelah shot comes in).

Batista vs. Mr. Kennedy: before this match happened I was so rooting for Mr. Kennedy...and I find that weird seeing how Minnesotans usually hate Green Bayenites. I even went as far as to say "Mr. Kennedy beat Batista at the Great American Bash, he should be the #1 contender" and then Batista took that saying right out of my mouth. Now that Batista has officially beaten Mr. Kennedy, Batista can now deserve the #1 contender spot.

Elijah Burke vs. a random nut jobber aka. Scott Wright: First of all, let me comment on some weird guy...I forget his name...but he went as far as to say Sylvester Terkay is impressive or a cool submission heel guy or somethin like that...then they said I wonder if Elijah Burke is as impressive as Sylvester Terkay. I don't remember the exact quote, but nonetheless, whoever wanted to see Elijah Burke in action got their wish.

K.C. James and Idol Stevens vs. Scotty 2 Hotty and Funaki: I hate these guys...flat out...and just for the record that wasn't there debut. I saw K.C. and Idol compete during a Smackdown Dark Match when they were here in Minnesota (7/11). To me, K.C. and Idol are not that impressive live, and even on Smackdown televised they still weren't impressive until the end...allthough they did pull off some good heel manuevers, but what happens when they go solo ie. without Michelle and their partnerat their side? They need improvement.

Kristal vs. Ashley: meh

Tatanka vs. Sylvan: meh. The rubber match should be interesting though.

Vito vs. The Brooklyn Brawler: meh again. All they're doing is trying to push Vito up the ladder with this "gay" storyline...and supposedly it's working because Vito pretty soon might be on (if not allready on) the POWER 25 rating.

Frogman thought inserted here: I have a feeling that eventually Vito will have a confromation with Sylvan. Then both have interesting storylines (Man in dress vs. ambassador of Quebec) which they're using very nicely to try to push them both to the POWER 25 rating.

William Regal vs. Finlay: This storyline is starting to tank...thankfully Bobby Lashly made his return and livened things up.

Undertaker vs. King Booker: Would have been an interesting match to see...if The Great Khali didn't interfere...allthough now we will officially see Undertaker and The Great Khail compete. Last Man Standing match at Summerslam...w00t

lastly, the Diva Search. As I've said before, it's really not that great when the person you were voting for gets eliminated...allthough I think I found a new person to vote for. She's "original".

Last thought for the day...not Smackdown related. Summerslam as we all know is a joint production of Raw and Smackdown (Cena vs. Edge for the WWE Championship, title changes hands on DQ, Booker vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship) so this is my thought...get ECW also involved in the joint production. That way we can see The Big Show vs. Sabu for the ECW Championship.

This is all for this week's Frogman's Flections. Make sure you tune in next week. and with that being said, I guess I have to sign off with a witty remark :P.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT WAS SAID RIGHT NOW, THEN GET OUT OF THE DARK WATER WORLD!

If you don't like green, then you don't like me. If you don't like me, bite me. And if you don't like what was said right now, then GET OUT OF THE DARK WATER WORLD!

Want to know what I saw when I went to my local movie theater? A poster for a John Cena movie. If the way they hammered their movie plugs for Kane is any indication, we are going to see more of Cena than we would ever want. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if once they start hyping his novie he will get the title again.

Because SD! airs during the "prime time" hours on free tv, and the show has drawn criticisms from parents groups and the news earlier in it's run (during the Attitude era mostly) and was then toned down. Considering Vince's pentient to still run things on that show that might get UPN in trouble, it seems they're taking absolutely no chances these days. I can't blame them there.

Oh so it was the overproctective parents and the FCC controlled by christian views. Well vito must have had a bigger thong on because it wasnt sencored last friday.

RVD suffered some kind of injury at the ECW house show in Poplar Bluff. RVD injured his neck when Kurt Angle used a release German Suplex on him. RVD DID continue, hitting a rolling thunder, and his five-star, but tapped to the Ankle lock. When the match ended trainers and Steve Keirn (the agent for the match) came out to check on him. RVD stood up and pulled down the strap on his right side, using it as a sling as he was favoring his right arm. The guess of fans in attendance was that it was most probably a stinger or a pinched nerve. We're awaiting official word.

The upside is that the show had the best attendance of any ECW show yet, somewhere around 2,500 fans pack the Black River Convention center for this one.

Damn that sucks for RVD. Wasn't it a stinger that gave Lita a neck injury a while back? I haven't seen her wrestle as great ever since.

On a related note, does anyone think that Ashley may become the new Lita and with Jeff and Matt reform Team Xtreme?

If Matt is cleared to wrestle that could be a possibility. But maybe both Hardys should be moved to ECW. They would be excellent additions and could finally get the ECW tag belts into play.

ECW fans... get ready for a great match tomorrow.

The ECW website has announced that tomorrow's edition of ECW on Sci Fi will be headlined by the first-ever Sabu vs. Kurt Angle match, with the winner becoming the top contender to the ECW World championship.

..... Well this will probably be the main event and I'm going to go out on a limb and say it will be better than last week's... More than likely.

Well I'm glad Lita wrestled tonight, but the only good move she did was the clothesline off the turnbuckle. I would have been happier if she landed the Moonsault on Trish to end the match.

This match should of been held after SS (assuming Edge wins) so a feud between Edge and Carlito for the title could develop.

Man I really miss Lita as a wrestler.

I don't think anyone did, but I guess since HHH's ccharacter is now a face he's now more prone to jobbing.

Kurt v.s Sabu tomorrow. CM Punk in action. Should be good.

It will be a great match as for Punk it all depends on the opponent... or not, Punk has the ability to make his opponent look better in the ring than what he might actually be.

I just have to take some issue with this part of the rant quickly.

Now some people don't agree with what happened last Tuesday night after the cameras went off. Batista shook Shows hand, reportedly out of respect. Afterwards Big Show was quoted "From the bottom of my heart, you can all kiss my ass" to all the ECW fans.

Anyone who has a problem with what Show said is dumb in my mind, Show was playing off the crowd, he's been doing that for awhile. Show is a heel in ECW, and in the back? He's said to really enjoy the audience. It was a work, stop seeing a shoot where there isn't one kiddies.

I don't blame Show or Batista. The ECW fans tore them apart. They had every right to be upset, especially since they had a solid match considering their talents. On the other side of the coin, however, they should have expected this. The ECW fans don't like bigger guys, even if they can wrestle. They had another reason to hate the match, neither Show or Batista are really ECW wrestlers. They are WWE 'superstars'.

Whoa, whoa! ECW fans don't mind bigger guys so long as they can wrestle, or at least use weapons and shit. 911, Sid, and Mike Awesome were all over in ECW. The reason Show and Batista were not accepted here is that there are many ECW fans who just want their ECW, not WWE superstars. I know many ECW fans are not accepting Show simply because they don't feel he should have the belt.

Heres what needs to happen. The ECW fans need to give Show a chance. He's worked his ass off, doing the best he can with his size and limitations, and has done pretty well. They need to give him the same chance they gave Kurt Angle. Batistas another story. Raw and SD! wreslters that appear for one week don't really need the ECW fans respect or not.

Batista should have expected to be torn up by these fans, and I don't understand why he was sent over there, and subjected to a match with such a lame finish, WWE should have known this wouldn't work. Big Show is a hard sell for ECW fans, he's the epitome of what a WWE guy is, and having the ECW belt this early does him no favors. Pull the belt off and give Show a few more months, and ECW fans will warm to him I think. You have to understand that these fans have been burned by Vince before, they're protective of those three letters, and until Vince can prove to them he's committed to treating the ECW vets with respect, and booking the company the way it should be, they're going to be suspicious and resentful of guys who don't fit the ECW mold.

This leads me into John Cena. How? Cena held up under pressure. At ONS2, Cena performed well, as the heel, in the middle of a beliigerent ECW crowd. He dealt with it much better than Batista did, even going so far as to embrace it.

He also attempted to pick up his usual work as well. That was the best PPV match I've ever seen Cena in.

I know Cena catches a lot of flak, usually from me, but I have found that I want him to succede. Not so much in winning the title, but in his quest to earn the respect back from the fans. If you haven't noticed, he's been trying to pull back some of his old moves (of course, keeping the 5 moves of doom intact for the end of the match) and has been doing really well on the mic lately. He's begining to remind me of the Prototype of OVW lore, and thats a good thing.

I'd like to see Cena succeed, I really would, but I don't want to see a bad worker made champion, no matter how popular he is. But I can swallow that bitter pill a fuck of a lot better if it can be shown that a bad worker can draw big bucks.
