I found the whole PPV quite disappointing. Not even one match had a good finish in my opinion.

Kendrick and London Vs. The Pitbulls.
This was probably the closest thing to a good ending. Kendrick and London won with a Dropsault/Sunset Flip combo.

Finlay Vs. Regal.
Finlay won after hitting Regal in the head with Regal's boot, which the little bastard stole.

Helms Vs. Hardy.
Helms won with a bunch of tights.

Punjabi Prison.
This was the biggest disappointment for me. I liked the concept of the match.
For anyone who didn't see the PPV and doesn't know what the match is about:
The Punjabi prison match contains one cage surrounding the ring, like a standard cage, and another cage out side of that, which is a hexagon, i think. The outside cage was almost touching some of the barriers at ringside.
On the inner cage were 4 doors, manned by referees. At one of the wrestlers' request one of the doors would be opened, and the door would remain open for 60 seconds. After the door closes, it will not be opened again, and is padlocked shut. Around the top of the inner cage were spikes, facing inwards, and there was also leather straps hanging down from the cage.
On the outer cage, there were no doors, and escape was only possible through escape over the top. There was also spikes on the top of this cage. There were two tables in this outer cage, covered with what appeared to be whips.
So yeah, thats the concept of the match, and the match went quite well, up until the ending.
One of my favorite parts of the match was when Show thre Taker in just as the fourth door was closing. This meant Taker had to escape the inner cage, by goiung over the top. He went over the top, and jumped onto the outer cage from the top of the inner cage, thereby stopping Show from leaving the cage. They then broke a few tables. At the end of the match, Taker climbed the inner cage, jumped onto show, and they both crashed through the outer cage. I say crashing, it was more, Big Show fell, the cage opened. Also, while this was happening, the Great Khali came out to ringside, and climbed up the cage, bearing absolutely no influence on the ending, which was inexplicable to me...
So yeh, a match where the only escape is over the top past spikes was a total lie.

Bra and Panties.
Jilian held Kristal and Ashley pulled Kristal's skirt off. Jilian looked mad at Ashley for stealing the win. She stared at Ashley. Then they both decided to strip to their Bra and Panties. Another proud day for the women's division.

Kennedy Vs. Batista.
A great match, and Kennedy didn't look as pathetic as he could've facing the newer agressive animal. Kennedy got cut open early in the match. Apparently he had to have 20 stitches. The ending was stupid, with Batista getting DQed for holding a foot choke for too long in the corner. He could've at least knocked Kennedy out with a chair. Still, both men looked quite good here.

Booker Vs. Rey.
It's a shame that he lost, but I couldn't stand the underdog shite for much longer. Now that Chavo has screwed him over, I can see Rey falling a lot. Chavo has never really been main eventer, and I don't see him and Rey bieng a main event fued. Correct me if I'm wrong...
That chair shot was pretty fucking awesome though, Chavo sure knows how to swing a chair.

Is Lashley's injury legitimate? It seems a mighty big coincidence that his annual test came in five days inbetween Smackdown and the GAB. The odds of that happening are pretty low...

Well, speaking of RAW, here's whats gonna happen tonight:

Highlanders will face the Spirit Squad for the Tag Team titles. In my opinion, this is like when Cade and Murdock came in to the WWE. They were only there for about a month, then they got the titles, for about the same time; a month. Thoughts on this, anyone?

As for anything else, look at the website for more details. I just read about the tag match and I was like ," ok, now what?"

As for Great American Bash,...man, I think that was actually worse than last years. Opinions on this?

What the hell is going on with SmackDown?!?! All of a sudden people are having liver problems right and left. As it turned out (if you all haven't already found out), Super Crazy could not compete in his scheduled Cruiserweight match with Gregory Helms because, guess what, he too has health issues with his liver. That's 3 so far (Lashley, Khali, and Crazy), how many more will develop liver issues.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-07-24 17:49:34

Holy shit, guys! Super Crazy has a diseased liver, too!

THAT'S THREE DISEASED LIVERS, GUYS.

King Booker DESERVES to be champion. He's been the highlight on Smackdown recently and he's been working his ass off to carry a brand that really is on one weak leg. I know the plan is to give Batista the belt, but if WWE has any clue what they're doing, they'll let Booker have a few months as the champ.

True that... Booker has been one of the hardset workers for the WWE for a while and as far as I'm concerned he should have won the belt a copule of years back at Wrestlemania when he challenged HHH.

So Crazy seems to be out as well, I also heard that Kid Kash might get suspended nothing's been confirmed so at this moment its just speculation.

As for Stephanie going in to labor... I think I speak for everyone here when I say... That baby is going to have a huuuuuuuuuge nose.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-07-24 18:37:38

Kid Kash didn't get suspended. He has a personal matter he needs to tend to and will be off the road for around 30 days. Jamie Noble is also being taken off the road. There is talk that Kasey James & Aaron Stevens could debut as early as this week on SmackDown to take their place.

I read that Nick Berk & Colt Cabana are close to being offered developmental deals by WWE.

What's with these liver problems in WWE? Lashley, Great Khali, and now Super Crazy have been affected by liver problems. Who will be the next wrestler to get affected by liver problems?

Well, It's time for me to go back to watching the 2 Cold Scorpio vs Sabu match on my Rise & Fall of ECW dvd.

ECW's website is reporting that Big Show will be defending the ECW Championship against Kane tomorrow night on ECW on Sci Fi live from Detroit, Michigan.

I didn't know Kane was still around... but why is the main event a WWE match once again? My guess is they'll keep this up until RVD's suspension ends.

Okay, I just accidentally deleted all the quoting I did, so I'm gonna' be quick:

(1) As long as Kennedy got pwned, I don't care who won.

(2) TOLD YOU KHALI WAS FINE! It smelled too much like a ripoff of Lashley's problem, much how "they" used RVD's suspension for steroid usage to spread a false rumor about Orton. Oh, and a Nelson-style "HAW-HAW!" to Show for not paying attention.

(3) WHY do the writers keep making feuds between the Guererros & Rey? At this rate, why doesn't Vince just spit on Eddie's grave? Geez.

(4) Last off, READ THE EARLIER-POSTED SPOILERS! BOOKER WON TO SET UP HIM vs. BATISTA AT SUMMERSLAM! Ok?

First off let me say this: Jamalga's samoan drop to HBK tonight was impressive. There may be hope yet for him.

Super Crazy is out too?! WTF is going on here? One liver problem is bad but three (all of which on SD) raises some questions. Three is too much to be a coincidence. Damn freaky is what it is, but more importantly whatever it is, its doing some bad damage and needs to be figured out. Now until super crazy is confirmed with this we really can't say, but still... Something isn't right here.

HHH is a Dad. A little girl. Congrats to him, Steph and everyone else.

Each time Carlito and Benjamin get in the ring together they have a great match. These guys to me are future world champion material.

As for the diva search... I honestly don't care about it. Not to say the women aren't hot (really hot) but it irks me that they will spent this much money on a diva whom will have no in-ring expreience and will be put into some kind of match anyway (just wait it always happens) when they could spend that money on actual women wrestlers who could do something. Way to prioritize wwe!

That's because it is the WCW title, a.k.a the NWA title in the latter days of it's use under Crockett. WWE just renamed it when they dropped the idea of using WCW as their second in the initial brand-extension scheme.

That's what I'm thinking, it also is probably a ploy to get the ratings up while they wait for Angle and RVD to get back. The main goal right now is to get Sci Fi to renew the show beyond it's 12 week "summer series" run. I think that shan't be a problem.

Unless you're a mark or a retard, you'd know Booker deserves a run with this belt, Booker is running out of time to have a decent title run, and he has been the MVP heel for SD! of late. He absolutely deserves some time with the strap, but knowing WWE they'll hot shot the belt right back onto Batista at SS, nevermind that the money is made in the face's CHASE for the belt from the heel.

I hadn't heard that about Crazy, it would make sense though as WWE made their site look stupid by announcing Crazy, and then Hardy worked. What I had heard was they announced Crazy, but had planned all along for it to be Hardy. WWE wants fans to look at thier site as a legit news source, and the rest of the net to be rumor mongering fools. Stupid moves like that are going to only make the sites they hate that much STRONGER because many of them were reporting Crazy wasn't going to compete when WWE's official site was still saying he would. If he isn't out for some reason, WWE made themselves look foolish for no apparent reason.

I guess on tv they can't just up and say it since they had the whole storyline of HHH and Steph splitting up. But I say if you are going to chime reality to announce that someone had a baby, you can drop the act a bit longer to say congratesto all.

On TV, it looks pretty apparent that they expect everyone to know that HHH is the father, and they're sort of making a joke out of it. I don't know if they're borderline shooting or not to be consistent with the 'breakup' of HHH and Steph, but either way, I think it's pretty funny.

Congratulations on HHH on being a father.
Booker being champ is fine with me as long as Batista is #1 Contender but the Kennedy win at GAB confuses me...

People are still saying that Batista is now the No 1 Contender but the record shows he lost to Kennedy via DQ. I know there was the whole "fight" between Booker and Batista at the SummerSlam commercial shoot, but WWE can't just ignore the result can they? Or can't they... I'm so confused. :S

The thing is that Batista beat up Mr. Kennedy so badly that he will not be cleared to be in the title match at Summer Slam. Plus, he still has a feud with Hardy going on, so it will be Batista vs Booker T 1 one 1 at Summer Slam.

Ok, lets clear something up. The match between Batista and Mr. Kennedy WAS NOT a #1 Contender's match. Friday night Batista issued an open challenge to anyone because of Mark Henry's injury. It just so happened that Kennedy decided to take Batista up on his challenge (which all of you already know this). Before Mark Henry's injury, Batista was suppose to exact revenge on "The World Strongest Man" for putting him out of action earlier this year.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-07-25 12:00:27

That makes sense then. Glad that was cleared up.

I wonder why they threw Kane in the ECW main event all of a sudden. Well I kinda know why: A ratings pop, but other than that it really dosen't fit very well. Yeah he and Show were kinda in a fued but still...

"liver problems" are not code for "failed drug test" as I have uncovered some more information about what kept Crazy off the show, and Matt Hardy is going out soon too:

According to a number of sources, Matt Hardy has joined the list of WWE talent that will be taken out of action shortly by the company, although we haven't heard further details on Hardy's situation.

As first noted yesterday afternoon during my audio hotline in the PWInsider.com Elite section, The Pitbulls are expected to sit out for at least the next month due to a personal situation involving one or both members of the team, which necessitated the PPV finish with their match against Paul London and Brian Kendrick.

Also broken yesterday in our Elite section on my hotline was the reason Super Crazy did not challenge Gregory Helms for the WWE Cruiserweight championship. Crazy has been removed from the active roster as WWE found something they didn't like in a recent blood test. Like The Great Khali and Bobby Lashley, Crazy is not "suspended" as much as the company wants to sit them out for their own well being, until WWE gets the results of a second test to further understand whatever issue exists, if any.

Also, ECW has TV clearance in Australia now, anyone who needs that info should post that here and I'll get it up for you later tonight.

As for the H thing, official company line is that TV is the "fantasy, storyline" part of the company. The website is viewed as the "shoot" end of things...even though they still run storylines on it when they don't want to admit to the real reasons for things (Like RVD's suspension). But since they figure most of the audience probably knows the reality of things anyway, they've been letting Shawn and Hunter have some fun with it on TV.
