Yeah, I was getting that too, because Heyman kept talking. With my experience people that rant for five minutes about how they will win, usually lose.

Any predictions before ECW event?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-06-07 15:40:38

I can now confirm three new additions to the ECW roster, official additions. However one requires me to spoil some of SD! so firstly to the two talents that spoil nothing:

As noted several days ago in the PWInsider.com Elite section, Dave Heath aka Gangrel has been signed to a new WWE deal and is expected to be part of the reformed Extreme Championship Wrestling. Heath was backstage at Smackdown in Bakersfield, CA a few weeks back.

With his release from the MTV Wrestling Society X project, it is believed Justin Credible has signed with WWE and may debut as soon as tonight on the WWE vs. ECW special.

Ok, SD! spoilers upcoming. Ok, 3...2...1! Let's Spoil!:

Michael Cole will come out and ask that Paul Heyman come out to address rumors that he has approached Rey Mysterio about jumping to ECW (I've heard no official rumblings here, so it looks like WWE is overplaying their storyline hand here). Tazz gets up from the booth and says he dosen't know about Mysterio, but his mind is made up, he's had fun in WWE, but he's going back home to ECW. Paul comes out and he and Tazz share a hug. Mysterio comes out and says he is NOT jumping to ECW, he acknowledges they gave him his US start, but he's living his dream in WWE. Paul E. wishes him luck and that's the end of the segment. I personally think though this lends MORE credence to the idea of a Rey jump.

who then should replace tazz with cole? It also brings to mind of what Tazz's role will be in the new ECW.

Awesome that they got Credible, he's one of those names that I automatically think of when I think ECW.

They could try Josh Matthews, Coach would have been good, but they're busy destroying him as Vince's new little bitch. Also, I have heard Tazz's role will be more then likely as a color commentator (he and Joey would be incredible in the booth I feel), and perhaps the occassional match.

Absolutely, Justin's reign in 2000 is very underrated, Paul E. had pencilled him in to win the belt for a long time, and when he finally did win it, Paul pushed him hard, and Justin had some great matches. He was also one of the skeleton crew Paul E. reportedly wished to hang on to in 2001 when he was attempting to re-start ECW as a more scaled down operation, however he signed with WWE and the Chapter 11 bankruptcy became a Chapter 7

So Justin Credible is back with ECW... Awesome. Now I can only hope that Rhyno goes back to ECW word is his contract is running out with TNA and he's not too happy with the way he's been used so who knows.

Now for more pressing matters. ECW vs WWE airs tonight and while I know RVD vs Rey will probably be the best match on the card the one that grabs my attention is John Cena vs Sabu. I've been of Sabu for a long time I've been lucky enough to see him various times in Pueto Rico and he always steals the show but I'm worried that he'll be the next talented guy to lose to John Cena and I don't like one bit, I can just see it now Sabu beats the hell out of Cena puts him through a table so forth and so on then Cena recovers and beats him with the STFU (After performing his usual moves).

So I'm hoping that the WWE doesn't allow this to happen not to Sabu not with ONS a couple of days away I'm hoping for wither a run-in by RVD or something but please don't let Sabu lose cleanly to John Cena.

ECWWrestlingNews.com is reporting that cBalls Mahoney vs. Tanaka and FBI vs. Mikey and Tajiri have been added to the ECW One Night Stand PPV on Sunday

Children...if true...this show will fucking PWN Wrestlemania in terms of quality, utter pwn. Probably not with buyrate, but I'm sure WWE will downplay it again, (a recent ECW book I just finished yesterday place last years buyrate at 450-600,000. That is much higher then any WWE estimates, and would easily pants the Vengeance show which WWE claims did a better buyrate).

Again, there are warning signs that the new ECW is not off to the best of starts, but when they book bouts like this? I really think end of the day they'll let it be the ECW we all know and want. Least I hope so anyway.

I don't know I have a good feeling about this. Word is that Vince is taking this seriously and the signing of Justin Credible shows that its true so I think the new ECW will be big and its gonna Vince a lot of money.

Considering the losses already suffered to SD! in the ressurection (Tazz, Kurt Angle) and the potential for more losses (Rey, the World Heavyweight Championship), I really believe theory suggested by one fan in the mail section of www.comics101.com, that Vince and co will simply lameduck SD! until the deal with the CW Network expires next year, and it will simply be ECW and WWE as the companies two brands, with the leftovers of SD! being split between the two shows.

I've heard that before. The new ECW could well be the end of the brand extension. BTW Avie there's this dude making a lot of useless topics in the C&C think you could do something about that?

I wouldn't be the end, it'd just be a modification of it. The original idea for WWE was to run a WCW show as well as they're main show. When WCW failed to catch on, they decided to do the brand extension rather then fire all the extra talent they had picked up. This deal with ECW would be the best kind of brand extension as any rivalry would feel more authentic.

A bit of a correction from one my previous posts Mikey Whipwreck won't be teaming up with Tajiri to take on the FBI. Mikey will accompany Tajiri and Super Crazy they will be the ones who will wrestle the FBI.

I like Tajiri and all but I'm surprised that Super Crazy will team up with him I would have expected Crazy to team up with Psychosis.

Very sad indeed. I knew he was battling cancer for a very long time now, and he had lived far longer than what dr.'s first estimated. He was a big fan of wrestlecrap.com belive it or not.

Those new matches for ECW sound freakin sweet! I'm very glad the cable people actually showed up today (5 hours after said arrival time) so now i can order ONS!

I've watched about half of the matches you posted a while back. The Owen Hart-Liger match I've already seen but rest are new to me so I'll start watching those later.

BTW which one of those would you consider the best match?

Well not only has Randy Orton been reinstated, now he's jumped ship from SmackDown! back to Monday Night RAW due to his contract expiring. One more superstar gone from an already shrinking roster.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-06-07 21:36:43

Guess that letter Avie mentioned was telling the truth. Only one match so far but it was a good one. A note on Orton maybe he will be the one to take the title away from Cena.

Man I was hoping Paul Burchill would be on team WWE. He is much more deserving and entertaining then that fat ass Henry.

Well Burchill's hurt and he's going to be out for a while so its probably why he's not part of the WWE squad. I just hope Mark Henry doesn't go an injure some of the ECW wrestlers.

Watching Henry being the first guy over the ropes made up for the lack of pirates. The fall looked like it hurt too.

It was good to see Stevie Richards in there, and lasting longer than they usually let him. So far this special is very good.

Hah, the look on Orton's face was priceless. Big Show switching isn;t that much of a suprise, he hasn't done much since losing the tag titles.
