From what my sources say, RVD was indeed drafted to ECW from RAW. So you're picks are RVD and Angle, officially.

I've also heard Nunzio will be officially moved over though soon to reform his tag team with Tony Mamaluke. If you haven't seen that incarnation of the FBI together...trust me...these guys can WORK. Great tag team.

Not neccessarily, all adverts like that would naturally call Cena the champion, since he still is at this point. WWE tries not to spoil any surprises through those. It could just as easily be subbed to being Edge defending if he wins. Not saying it dosen't mean Cena won't retain, I'm just saying it's not guaranteed. I do think it's time to take the belt from him, he certainly won't get over while holding it in a death grip.

heh Nitro and Melina sure showed up quick on Raw huh?

Speaking of that, no new GM... Just Coach doing stuff. Well I actually think that this is a good move on wwe's part. This will give them some time to build up hype for the new GM.

Well...for some reason, I have a bad feeling that vince will do something nobody dares to do at ONS ---- having RVD jobbing to his son-in-law clean in front of many ECW fans and shit on Heyman's face. Assume that RVD wins at ONs, he will face Edge in 2 weeks. I doubt that any major feud can develop well in 2 weeks. If Cena wins, 2 weeks will be more than enough for him to feud with Edge again since they feuded before. Let's hope that Cena will lose to Edge even if he somehow beats RVD.

Talking about RAW's new GM, I think that it willbe JBL. First of all, JBL left SD! and he did not land on RAW immediately as a wrestler. Secondly, he is a proud America who is great at mic skills and feuding with any type of RAW superstars. Lastly, there have been quite a few rumors saying that JBL will be the next RAW's GM. Rumors have been very accurate in recent years, so he will be probably the next GM.

yeah but having JBL as the new GM is nothing but a quick fix. It would be like when Kurt was GM, where he needed time to heal up from injures and once he was ready to go he went back and wrestled. So once JBL would be ready to go back in the ring, Raw is left with the same problem of having on GM.

Freakin Deacon. That's Masked Kane.

The identity of the masked Kane character that appeared on Raw last night is none other than Freakin' Deacon aka Deacon Deville aka Dorian Deville. His real name is Drew Hankinson.

Freakin' Deacon signed a WWE developmental deal in April 2005. He has been wrestling in Deep South Wrestling since September. WWE were thinking about calling him up late last year to feud with Kane, however, it was nixed.

Freakin' Deacon is 6'7" and 330 pounds.

He was part of OVW and he was expected to be called up at about the same time as Khali.

Not again, they did this with the Undertaker. They really don't have any more ideas to spew out anymore I guess. Man I can't wait for Cena to lose the title. I wonder what your new sig is going to be.

Redface Says-"I'm starting to not like the new E-C-DUB."

at first, I was actually all for Cena losing the title to RVD. It would give him the chance to join the new D-Generation X and would give RVD the title run he so richly deserved. Now, I'm not so sure if I like the idea of RVD turning the WWE title into the new E-C-DUB title.

I espeically don't want ECW acting like a leech and sucking the vital blood (i.e, some of it's best wrestlers, Like Angle) of the WWE. ECW should try to be a separate entity, and not mooch offa Papa Vince. It did it once before, it can do it again. all it needs is time to get it's footing once more.

It has also accured to me that ECW is breaking it's back, spending valuable resources to try and re-sign it's old talents, instead of signing newer, younger wrestlers. I would hate to see ECW try to regain guys like Ryhno and Raven. It would do alot damage to TNA and I would hate to see that happen.

While I do agree with you on that fact that ECW needs to be seen as a separate entity from WWE, I don't agree with you on their desire to get some of their former stars and workers. And guys like Raven and Rhino would be very hard to get, since both of them, as well as the dudleyz jad expressed that they are happy with TNA and would not just jump back to ECW.

The term never say never definatly applies to pro wrestling but don't hold your breath either.

I don't think you quite understand ECW red. We NEED those older talents back for the sake of credibility of the shows. I agree that with the exception of guys like RVD, Anderson, Dreamer, and Sandman, nobody that's currently signed should have the company really built around them, but you can't simply stock it with new guys no one has heard of.

While I'm not horribly sold on Angle going there, he adds "big name" credibility to interest the casual WWE fan who may know nothing of the old ECW, but may give the new one a shot, also, Angle's character and style CAN fit with ECW. Especially when you considered they're talking about moving an old amateur wrestling opponent of his who has been working for Zero-One and is on a developmental deal over there. Plus, we got Benoit now. That's like...officially, unofficial I think. I'll try to confirm that more as time goes on.

Also, Tazz is going, which we knew for weeks, but apparently that was a typical "WWE site fuckup" in that we were NOT supposed to know that yet. The word right now is that Tazz is supposed to jump (my own feeling is that it'll be this week on SD! since Paul E. has declared "open season", but that's just MY feeling) and become either ECW's color man (him and Joey in the booth would be magic!) or become an on-air character (feud with Angle? Feud with Angle).

So while there's some ruffled feathers about Angle, this could turn into a good positive for the newly emerging ECW if we just give it a chance.

I think the fact that Angle showed much displeasure with ECW in the past may be used as a storyline going forward. Perhaps Angle will state that he joined ECW in order to destroy all of it's top stars. Unlikely, but not impossible.

redface, I understand what you consider as a Cena mark. But the fact is thatr Cena has been the champ too long with limitted mic and wrestling skills and most of the people desperately need a new champ to cheer for. When Edge (a heel) beat Cena at NYR, most are rooting and cheering for Edge who should be booed since he is a heel. That explained how many most fans needed the change. If the WWE title does not change hands at ONS where everyone will root for RVD, RAW's future ratings will take a deep dive in the ocean for a long while. :(

Warning the following is an ECW ONS spoiler:

A new match has been added to the PPV.

During last nights Smackdown taping in Portland, Oregon, a video feature announced that WWE World champion Rey Mysterio will step in to the ring with former ECW World Champion Sabu at the ECW One Night Stand PPV on June 11.

Surprisingly enough, this will be the first singles match between the two superstars. They have previously faced each other in a tag match during an international tour promoted by John Arezzi in 1993, however are yet to face each other one on one.

This match sounds really sweet. Something to look forward to. Of course I'm going to have to put my money on Rey Mysterio. He has a lot of tricks up his sleeves, but what shirt?

Rey vs. Sabu?

*orgasm*

Oh that just made this show the best card I've seen out of WWE all year...and it's an ECW card? Wow, who would have ever guessed? Oh right...me.

Angle is a surprise, I certainly have issues with Angle personally, but I can't deny he'll be a good work horse for us, and his name should bring in some casual folks who will mistakenly think ECW is only about blood and violence.

Some WWE/ECW news..

Source: The Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter

The ECW section of WWE.com is stating that after Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle were chosen as Paul Heyman's draft picks for the new ECW brand, anyone else from RAW and SmackDown were free to "jump ship to the new global ECW." Whether or not this turns into a full fledged storyline remains to be seen. WWE's creative team is already having trouble with balancing the storylines currently on RAW and SmackDown at the moment along with the launch of the new ECW brand, something we will provide more on later today. Speaking of the ECW draft picks, The Pro Wrestling Torch reports that many were under the impression that Kurt Angle was moved to the brand because it would reduce his schedule and give his body more of a chance to heal since he has had nagging injuries over the last few years. However, ECW is actually holding way more House Show events this summer than SmackDown. So that assumption doesn't quite add up. Based on what is known, Angle was not happy with the decision to move him over to the ECW brand, but is willing to be a team player at the moment since the brand is under heavy pressure to succeed early on. Many feel everything will work out for the best since Angle has great chemistry with Paul Heyman.

WWE management is said to be very high on Bobby Lashley as a wrestler and feel he can grow into a higher position on the card. Some feel Lashley has a stronger chance of moving up the card due to SmackDown having a very thin roster as of late and many wrestlers going out with injuries. At this point, those within WWE feel Lashley has made some strong progress since his debut in late 2005 on the SmackDown brand and feel he will continue to progress by holding a secondary title like the WWE United States Title, a title he captured on SmackDown last week by defeating the now out and injured JBL.

Kurt Angle and Paul Heyman have great chemistry together? Somehow I'm not surprised.

As for Lashley getting a push he's improved a bit but he's probably getting a push because of the thinned out Smackdown roster.

BTW... Is something different with Avie?

You don't recall when Paul E. managed Kurt? That was the best damn use of Angle ever, and perhaps the best overall stable Paul managed top to bottom (hmm, no, actually I guess that has to go to his WCW Dangerous Alliance). I'm also not exactly shocked to hear Angle didn't wanna go, considering all the stuff he's said negative about ECW, but if he plays ball, he has my respect.

Yep, but I doubt it'll do him much good since he's still green a bit, and a spotlight on his lackings thus far would be more of a hindrance then a help.

Hmmm...the axe maybe? I think it's the axe...

I do remember that but its obvious they would have great chemistry with one another the both of them know and love wrestling so its a match made in wrestling heaven as for all the comments Angle has made about ECW it won't make much of a difference I doubt Angle is going to do things half-assed you know he's going to put on a show in every match.

So much for Avie's axe...

Now for some news many of you (myself included) have been wondering what's up with Burchill? WHy is he jobbing so much?

Paul Burchill needs knee surgery and will be out for an extended amount of time which explains why he was buried three weeks ago on SmackDown!. His pirate gimmick has also been dropped.

Why the hell are you going to drop his gimmick?

Sabu vs Rey.. holy crap what a match that will be huh?

speaking of that I have been wondering something... Why did wwe not sign either Mike Awesome or Tanaka after the first ONS? They had one of the better matches on the card (Not to say the rest of it wasn't great, but it was a stand-out match), and both did an incredible job. Granted Mike will be eternaly hated by fans like Avie, but why not Tanaka then? I also know Awesome was in wwe for a very brief time when hs wcw contract was bought out. I also wonder if either guy will be in the new ECW.

June is looking to be a good month for me. On the 11th ONS is going to be on, that week on the 14th I turn 23, and a week after that we do something for my Dad for fathers day. My only concern is that I'm with a new cable providerer and I have no idea how to order PPVs from them. If anyone is using service from ALLTEL and knows what to do please let me know.

Dave Meltzer reports that Rey Mysterio is expected to hold on to the World title until the 7/23 Great American Bash PPV. Pro Wrestling Insider is reporting that Mark Henry is likely to be the next Smackdown champion, setting up a Henry-Batista program.

Then again, with all the injuries on Smackdown!, they're running out of options.

I think it's great Lashley is getting a push. The Draft lottery should be starting soon, I beleive, maybe that'll give smackdown a larger roster.

I hope you all liked my latest installment of "Redface Says" although, in seems as though you all seem to disagree with it...

Duke, I've come to peace with Cena losing the title to RVD, it will give Seen the chance to join the new DX!

Rey vs. Sabu? make it a mexican death match, and I'm sold.
