It's coincidence, I have no confidence in any of these assholes to know anything about the product from before they started (I've heard that's true of basically every writer there now anyway, especially on the RAW side). So coincidence, and I doubt any of what you just said will be mentioned in the course of this storyline. It's just monumental coincidence.

As for the ECW thing...Meltzer ain't always right, and while yes, there HAS been debate as to where ECW would air, whether it be sci-fi or USA (both owned by the NBC conglomerate) it had not been confirmed as yet. We'll know by next week since Meltzer also claimed a press release was forthcoming.

Before Mickie James beat Trish at WM22, the women division almost died out due to the lack of top level matches. I like the move of having Mickie as the champ to keep the division fresh. Hot of the heels of the Booker T-Batista "fight" comes reports of another fight this one a catfight between Sharmell and Melina.

Mike Johnson reports that at Saturday's WWE house show in El Paso, TX Sharmell the wife of Booker T and Melina were involved in a backstage pull apart fight.

Johnson says the fight stemmed from Melina's recent relationship with Batista. Melina has had major backstage heat in recent months for her relationship with Batista and her bad attitude. There is also heat on Johnny Nitro of MNM in regard to the SmackDown! locker room right now. The boys backstage feel Nitro is growing distant from everyone in the locker room since he is now currently dating Melina. It seems that Nitro is always by Melina's side instead of being with the boys. She was even taken to wrestler's court where Undertaker is the judge before a Smackdown taping recently.

JBL of all people was the one who broke the fight up and was the peace maker during the altercation.

Can't say if security would be helpful in that respect. Most of the guys on the roster are too big to be handled easily by security.

1.King of the Mountain segment
Christian Cage comes out and talks about the King of the Mountain match at the upcoming Slammiversary PPV. Then Raven, Scott Steiner, Monty Brown, Jeff Jarrett, Rhino, Abyss, Ron Killings, and Sting come out, They will take part in King of the Mountain qualifing matches in the next few weeks.
2.Petey Williams vs Chris Sabin
A good match to end the World X Cup. The commentators mention that Petey Williams & Chris Sabin got their start in Southern Ontario's Border City Wrestling which is run by Scott D'Amore. Scott D'Amore trained both Petey Williams and Chris Sabin. Chris Sabin won and Team USA win the World X Cup. Then Kevin Nash comes out and attacks the X Division wrestlers and leaves with Alex Shelley.
3.Samoa Joe vs Chase Stevens
Samoa Joe won at the end.
4.Rhino vs Abyss
Abyss won at the end with help from Bobby Roode and Scott D'Amore to qualify for the King of the Mountain match.

Well it looks like Batista and Booker have at least tried to patch things up.

WWE's website has a photo featuring Booker T and Batista together at the CW Network presentation that took place in New York City today. Featured with the photo is an article that states the two stars that recently got into a fistfight during the filming of a SummerSlam commercial are now getting along rather well. It goes on to state that the two actually had a chance to discuss their differences during breakfast prior to the event. Booker T is quoted in the article as saying "We had a good talk, and we'll have no problem working together and being professional. We're going to do what's right for each other's careers and the future of the company." WWE.com is teasing comments from Batista to come later.

How about the promo Bubba did last night? Without actually coming out and saying it, he was shooting on the ECW re-launch while talking about the James Gang.

While I agree with what he said I don't like the fact that he said it he should stop worrying about the WWE (Unless they're jealous) and worry about TNA. That's one of the reasons that WCW went out of business they paid more attention to the WWF than to WCW. I understand that the Dudleyz were and always will be legends of ECW but the fact is they're not with the WWE and they're not part of the new ECW they should just go on with their careers and stop taking "cheap shots" at the competition.

I agree, it's another example of TNA trying to come off "edgy" by copying the ECW staple of trying to look like "oh, we've got balls cause we shoot all over those other guys". TNA and it's talent should focus on building up TNA's image, not trying to tear into the competitor, which in and of itself is a copy of something already done, and that I'm sure WWE would use against them through the ECW re-launch.
