I'm all for a Terry/Dreamer vs. Foley/ECW person any day but I do have to admit that while Edge really should not be there I can't say that won't be a good match. But damn.. Let ECW draw for itself, it did in the past and has enough old school fans to support it and plenty of new ones for this sort of thing to not need to be done. Vince honestly needs to trust what he has and not screw it up like he did when he got WCW.

Exactly. I know Edge will put on a great show but it doesn't change the fact that he was never a part of ECW its things like that that make me believe that maybe bringing back ECW isn't such a great idea.

I'm sure they will have some problems to start with once ECW gets going, but I think once it does they will be able to sort out those problems just by how the fans want it, and also once the ppv is done Vince should let heyman run it.

If you watched Smackdown you saw Orlando Jordan talk to Nunzio. Jordan said he saw Vito dressing in drag at a club during their UK tour. Nunzio told Jordan that he was wrong and there’s no truth to it. What’s interesting is that this exact storyline is from HBO’s The Sopranos. In the show, a character named Vito (yes, the exact same name) is seen in a gay bar by two mobsters who are making a collection. Obviously, this creates hell for The Sopranos’ Vito character and may be where this Smackdown storyline is headed.

It’s not unusual for WWE writers to use ideas from other shows, reality and the news, but I think this crosses over into stealing.

Wonder when DX will offically be back together.. Shawn and HHH are a damn good team and could go for the tag titles since both have had their fair share of grief with the SS. This tag team role could also be good for hunter when Steph has the baby.. Wonder when she is due?

It would be a bit more interesting if he did those moves against who isn't a jobber. I was disappointed with Raw tonight Cena won (as expected) and Carlito wasn't in action which wasn't cool.

I was just glad to see my boy Shelton get his gold back. I guess that answers one question about what RVD was going to do next. The one thing that stopped Raw from being great tonight was the ending. Vince's terrible overacting mixed with a total lack of climax. It would have been nice to see HHH to at least do a little DX crotch chop at the end.

You're right I should have said Cena didn't lose the title (as expected). Foley and Funk stole the show with their promo and other than that the Carlito/Maria thing was pretty funny.

Raw this week was.. well... nothing special. other than the opening match that I tuned in mid way through and had no idea what was going on. Sucks that RVD drops the title the way he did. I mean come on, he's the whole f'in show for god's sake and they make him job like that. He could have defended that title on ppv and could have had a much better showing.

Yeah Raw wasn't that great. Another Umanga win, and another DX tease.

I like how Terry Funk took a very old school idea, that he's used at least twice before, and still made it work. Although I think it's used better in ECW and other places he's done it in. But this is a promo he pulled on Foley before in ECW to get him to come out to fight...here's what happened for those who care:

"Cactus Jack, Your wife's a whore!"

Nothing.

"Cactus Jack, Your children are bastards!"

Nothing.

"Cactus Jack, Eric Bischoff is a homo!"

That got him out.

He also tried the same promo pretty much verbatim on a younger Bullet Bob Armstrong:

"Bob Armstrong! Your wife is a whore! Oh wait, no, that won't bring him out here...everyone knows southerners don't give a shit about their wives. Wait, I know! Bob Armstrong! My only problem with that promo was when Funk said:

The bottom line is that RVD lost his IC title which means that he will win the world title at ONS. Saddly, JBL's call indicates that he is very likely to face RVD at the PPV. As a result, Cena will probably hold his belt for a few more months. :(

ROFL! The last time for a major title (WWE, WH) to change hands on RAW was many years ago. Plus, you people know Vince will never let his son-in-law lose on RAW. The Candice-Vince crap also needs to stop. I heard that the Candice chick has a bf already. It is not hard to imagine how he will feel when he sees a 60+ years old man screwing his girl. :P I knew that RVD would lose before ONS so I changed the channel before the ME. Here is the bottom line: RAW is pure shit. No wonder DuMa has gone for good.

yeah the Terry/Mick promo was definatly an awesome thing to watch. While it is true he used that promo at least twice before, I think it was a first time use in WWE.

While it sucks that Carlito didn't have a match, he was funny anyway. I think they are trying to come up with a new fued for him. Maybe he could go after the IC title again.

I think JBL's call to Vince probably had more to do with Kane showing up on SmackDown! Friday night to take on Rey Mysterio. Hopefully the world with finally find out what is up with Kane and May 19th.
