As for the question earlier about when a guy starts fighting for real: This is called "shooting" or "going into business for yourself". Shoots are very much discouraged, and extremely rare. When a shoot does occur, the recipient knows immediately, and referees are usually then able to get word to the back via hand signals, or if this were to happen in WWE, they'd have an ear piece giving them a direct connection to the back. It then falls into the hands of the management to decide how to handle the situation. When Perry Saturn did it in WWE (and Bob Holly as well), WWE allowed the shoot to continue until the match stopped, and then reprimanded the individual (in Saturn's case, it led to his being fired from the company), in the case of the indy example that was mentioned, the decision was made to send someone out to the ring and stop the match immediately.

Hm intersting.Do you know if they did this in other leagues {wcw, tna, etc,}.New topic who do you think is going to win the kotr.I would say angle is most likely unless vince feels like giving someone a rise.Though I must say this thursday kurt angle acted literally retarded.Kinda laughed at how he was like RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd have to see a bracket to see who's in it before I could give my actual prediction.

If the Deadman gets entered into the King Of The Ring tournament, I'd say he would be the odds on favorite. But knowing the predictability of SmackDown!, someone will come along and screw Undertaker like always. Seems like everytime they hold some kind of tournament, he always gets screwed over in his 1st round match. But I'm picking Undertaker anyways if he's an entrant.

I think that new guy who came will make a big difference to the Undertaker. He was huge and Undertaker could not even do anything about it.

Yeah, that was Dalip Singh.... he whooped Taker's ass. Some of you may recognize him from the movie "The Longest Yard". He's been wrestling in quite a few different feds before this point. Did anyone notice that Rey was being booed while cutting his promo backstage? Many people in this club were saying that Rey is definitely over with the fans.... could they be wrong?

Yeah, I thought he was from the longest yard. Is he like a mexican or something? Because he sure looks like one.

Yeah, ok, I know who you guys are talking about now. He played Turley, the big ass (7'2" 400 lbs) fullback. He was born in Punjab, India. After seeing some of the participants in the KOTR, I have to agree and give Angle the odds on favorite with Lashley a close 2nd.

Yeah, I just finished watching Taker get beat down. The Deadman has bounced back before, and will bounce back again from this beating. This event has a Judgment Day feel to it.

Do not make me laugh. Gonzalez, Big Show, The Train...how many more giants does UT have to destroy to prove that he is the best? What puzzles me is why WWE allowed Orton to show up on SD! a few times before taking the two months' suspention. In that case, he will miss JMD PPV. With the recent rumors going on and the fact that he has been the legend jobber as of late, I doubt that he will win the tittle any time soon. UT should get the title after making Rey RIP in 5 seconds. But saddly, Vince is stil milking the whole Eddie's story, so expect Rey to be the champ for at least 2 more months. We all know that UT will never job, so as you can see, he is feuding with the giant now which will keep him busy for a while.

LordKooler's Friday Night SmackDown review
1.MNM vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Matches between MNM & Paul London & Brian Kendrick are always good. Paul London & Brian Kendrick scored the upset victory at the end. I'd like to see TLC matches involving MNM, London & Kedrick, and The Mexicools. Those would be awesome. The TLC matches at Summerslam 2000 and Wrestlemania X7 involving The Hardy Boyz, Edge & Christian, and The Dudley Boyz were awesome.
2.Booker T vs Gunner Scott
OVW Heavyweight Champion Brent Albright makes his SmackDown debut as Gunner Scott scoring an upset victory over Booker T. During the match, The Boogeyman played mind games on Booker T helping Gunner Scott win.
3.Chris Benoit vs Simon Dean
Chris Benoit beat Simon Dean with the Crossface.
4.Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton
A very good match. Rey Mysterio won at the end.
5.William Regal vs Paul Burchill
Paul Burchill won at the end.
6.Undertaker vs Mark Henry
During the match, WWE's newest hoss Dalip "Giant" Singh debuts and attacks the undertaker. Dalip Singh is the next Giant Gonzalez.

Nice SD tonight. Course, I didn't watch it. Fucking time zone changes. Time changes can eat a big fat dick. Anyways,..

I didn't know they we're still doing King Of The Ring. Shit, I forgot all about that. What the hell happened to it before? Hasn't been to PPV since, ...shit, even I can't remember that. Ah well. Moving on...

About Orton. I admire the guy. He's got skill, but his attitude has got to go. Maybe some of his "I want to be on top" attitude came from his father. (Bob Orton Jr., for those who forgot) Then again, being screwed over time and time again by the company gets to you after awhile. Almost two years since his last title reign.

Before I go, where is this RVD dvd I heard about? Sounds interesting; I might buy it if I find it.

A couple of big upsets tonight. London and Kendrick, and that Gunner Something guy.

The London Kendrick and MNM match was neat. They kept teasing us with near-falls by London and Kendrick, and just as you think that MNM is gonna score another cheap victory, London pulls the upset. Absolutely wonderful. Good to finally see them getting a push.

And guys, quit bashing on Rey. He's been one of the top wrestlers since the mid 90's. He deserves to run with the title for a few months or so.

Sd was pretty good this week. That guy from The longest Yard showed up and kotr is going to start next week. Is this a SD exclusive?

heh so Regal has to dress funny too.. man this is going to be both painful yet amusing to watch.

Wasn't his name in the movie, Turley? Damn that guy is tall. I guess he is going to have a good future if he drops Davari. I can't wait for KotR to start.

Angle has won kotr in the past, he really doesn't need to win it again. He'll probably get right near the end though so we are going to get some good matches out if it.

knowing wwe they will let Lashly win it since he's like their new version of Lesnar and they really want to get him over with the crowd. i'll be surprised if he doesn't win it.

OK, after seeing SmackDown! and looking over the bracket, I'm gonna break it down round by round. I know yesterday night after SD! I picked Angle as the favorite to win, and said Lashley would probably be a close 2nd. But now that I know Mark Henry is an entrant, I'm changing that.

First Round:
Angle vs. Orton: Kurt Angle
For obvious reasons: Orton starting his suspension

Hardy vs. Booker T: Matt Hardy
Kind of a toss up here, but I think there may be some more Boogey mind games.

Benoit vs. Finlay: Chris Benoit
I think this could be possibly the best match of the 4. Benoit makes Finlay tap to the crossface.

Lashley vs. Henry: Mark Henry
I feel Henry is too powerful and too big for Lashley handle.

Semifinals:
Angle vs. Hardy: Kurt Angle
Hardy stands no chance against the "Wrestling Machine"

Benoit vs. Henry: Mark Henry
While I would like for Benoit to win and see a classic Angle/Benoit match in the finals, I once again think it comes down to Henry's size and power. That and Benoit is still feuding with JBL.

Finals:
Angle vs. Henry: Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle hasn't forgotten what Henry's done to him in the past. This one will pull out all the stop. I see Angle winning to capture his 2nd KotR crown (first one in 2000) and make him the only person to win it more than once.

I'm looking forward to some great matches in the King of the Ring tournament. I wish it was it featured starts from both brands. The brackets for this year are dwarfed by past tournaments.

Its gotta be Lashley in the KOTR tournament. Lashley is too much of a newbie to smackdown, really, to win any of the titles. The KOTR is great way to push someone in a short time without elevating them too high.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-04-08 16:40:09

My darkhorse pick to win KOTR is Matt Hardy. I just don't see them doing anythign else with his storylines. All he's been doing is tagging with has-beens and not much else. I have a feeling we could be in for a surprise when Matt takes it all. I don't think Lashley will win because he will more than likely be fueding with Finlay for a while and Angle will have his sights on getting the WHC back since he does have a rematch clause in his contract.

The reason why WWE had Randy Orton vs Kurt Angle on the 1st round was because Orton would be gone for 2 months after the match. Knowing how he was treated lately, Angle will probably make him tapping like a bitch. The match should be in the final, but unfortunately. Orton did not shut his mouth. WWE has the tradition of depushing someone who is not too popular in the locker room. Like I said in my previous posts, it will be a long time for Orton to be in position to win the belt again.

Ok, here are my KOTR predictions:
Angle def Orton (obvious reasons)
Hardy def Booker (poor Booker is going to job to Boogey again at JD...)
Finlay def Benoit (JBL will screw Benoit up.)
Lashley def Henry (Who is fat Henry? Plus, I somehow see UT vs Henry again at JD.)
Angle def Hardy (Angle is way better than Hardy.)
Lashley def Finlay (WWE is giving Lashley a big push right now.)
Angle def Lashley (The KOTR will probably challenge Rey at JD. Lashley has lots of potential, but he is not quite ready for the mainevent of a PPV yet, Angle will go over.)

I would love with Matt won, but I think he may start feuding with Road Warrior. Road Warrior attacked Matt on Velocity. I think Hardy deserves a main event though. Rey vs. Hardy would be a good match.

News on the Orton suspension apparently some top officials have said that if he weren't a top heel he would have been fired. It seems Angle got the title a while back due to Orton's backstage behavior. There are some saying that the suspension might go longer than 60 days. However there is some good news...

There's also talks backstage about needing a new top heel the leading candidate??

A returning Mr Kennedy..... Kennedy!!!

Mr. Kennedy is super cool, but just like Lashley, he is still too green to be on the top yet. Unfortunately, I do not see anyone who can replace RO as a top heel. Angle turned face in January, and should stay in face for a while. UT is too popular to be a heel. Fat Henry blows...A Benoit heel turn may work, but he needs to get out of the US. title picture first. PS: does WWE have to suspense RO? II doubt that they can find a top heel.

As I said, Angle has won kotr before and I really feel that this tournament is made to establish stars. So having someone like lashly win or Hardy would be better than kurt, who is already an established star.

I agree, bringing it back after so long, and then havve some who has already won, win it again would be pointless. I remember watch Angle win KOTR, its the only PPV I have ever seen. I think he hit Rikishi with the Angle slam and pinned him for the win.

I think Lasley or Hardy will win the tournament. I don't know if Lasley is ready to main event a PPV, but then again WWE did the same thing with Lesnar.

LordKooler's TNA iMPACT! review
1.AJ Styles vs Abyss
During the match, Christian Cage came out and attacked Abyss. Abyss won by DQ because of that. Then talks about his match against Abyss at Lockdown
2.Bob Armstrong vs Konnan
Before the match, Homicide and The James Gang were kicked out of the ring. Bob Armstrong was dominating the arm wrestling match until Texas indy wrestler and newest LAX member Hotstuff Hernandez came out and attacked Bob Armstrong. Will Hotstuff Hernandez last long with the LAX? Or will he end up like Apollo & Machete? After Machete got kicked out of the LAX. He got released.
3.Diamonds in the rough vs Norman Smiley & Shark Boy
Before the match, They talked about all the media coverage that TNA's baseball angle is getting. Why did they bring in AJ Piezynski & Dale Torborg anyway? TNA wasn't in Chicago when that happened. Since AJ Pierzynski is a World Series champion, Maybe TNA will make him win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. It would be totally stupid if that happend. It'll be just like that time when WCW made David Arquette win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. When Dale Torborg was the KISS Demon in WCW, It was one of the worst gimmicks in the history of wrestling. His wife Asya was a ripoff of Chyna. Both those gimmicks are in Wrestlecrap. I wonder if Simon Diamond attended the White Sox' home opener. The match never happened because Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner got involved.
4.Alex Shelley vs Roderick Strong vs Chase Stevens
Roderick Strong is back after a two month suspension. I think that Austin Aries will return when iMPACT moves to Thursdays. Alex Shelley won at the end to become the final member of Team TNA in the World X Cup.
5.Sting segment
Sting talks about Jeff Jarrett and says that he will reveal the members of his War Games team at the first Thursday iMPACT. Then Jeff Jarrett and his goons come out.
Will Goldberg appear at Lockdown?

hmmm so much for TNA being all action and no talk. We had two matches last night. Arm wrestling doesn't count, and neither do beatdowns. So of the two matches I like the X cup qualifying match.

An incident involving John Cena took place at the O'Hare Airport in Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday morning. The following information came from two sources from the O'Hare Airport. One source is a person's eye witness account of the incident. The other source is from written documentation of the incident. Here is an eyewitness report in regards to situation at hand...

"John Cena was at O'Hare Airport in Chicago on Tuesday morning to get a flight to Tampa. He arrived too late to check in his bag for the flight and was informed by the ticket agents that his bag wouldn't be able to make it. Cena started swearing at the agents and gave them the finger before leaving his bag and departing for the gate, despite knowing his bag wouldn't make the flight. The gate was called and told to not let him to board. Cena returned to the ticket desk and saying "f*** you" repeatedly to the agents present, and he was told to stop using profanity. A manager came to the desk and again told him to stop using profanity. He was rebooked on a later flight.

Apparently, this incident caused a big scene at the airport, and it could have much worse than it actually was. In situations such as this one, the customer is not allowed to the fly on his or her original flight. Customers that are abusive to airline staff usually have the police stationed at the airport, called in. A WWE representative personally called the O'Hare airline to apologize for Cena's disruptive behavior. Also, the source was told that if Cena ever misbehaves at the O'Hare airline ever again, he will be denied boarding on the flight and he will have to find another airline in which to fly on.
