Wow...look what I found on Prowrestling.com:

Before Austin came up with the name “Stone Cold” with help from his ex-wife, Vince’s marketing people came up with names like McFreeze and Frosty The Wrestler.

Just goes to show "what may have been," eh?

At least he didn't keep calling himself The Ringmaster, I remember seeing that and recognizing Austin from his WCW days and thinking to myself this guy is going nowhere in the WWF and sure enough I was wrong.

Heh, for some reason after reading this, I got the mental image of Austin coming down to the ring in a red coat, white pants and tophat and introducing himself as the Ringmaster. Then he proceeds to pull out a lion taming whip and beat his opponent while the ref isn't looking. XD

I guess we know what's going down on SD!

"WWE issued a text message via their mobile service confirming that Randy Orton has been suspended for "unprofessional conduct."

We've heard it is for 60 days.

Orton had been advertised for tonight's main event at the SmackDown! tapings."

I don't know why all of you are so upset that the Spirit Squad won the tag titles. At least they will actually be fighting champions who will defend the belts once and a while. Kane and Big Slow barely ever had a defense and when they did, it was always a squash match. I am glad that the SS got the belts because it was time for a change and I find them to be extremely entertaining. I hope they actually keep them for a while and seeing the kind of tag competition on Raw, I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Go Spirit Squad!

We shouldn't be surprised Orotn is notorious for being an ass backstage its why I can't stand him.

hmm thats kinda weird. Wonder if thats a storyline or not. Wonder what he did to get the punishment. Whatever it is, i hope it isn't bad enough to get him fired, at least for wwe's sake. Orton would be a big addition to TNA wouldn't he?

If the suspension is based on a series of past incidences and not just one, then it may be part of the reason he didn't win at WM22. I'm curious about what motivated the suspension. There should be articles out soon with details.

I'm taking a guess that he harassed some of the Divas again. There are rumors he has done it before, so a repeat violation mostly likely will get somebody suspended.

I've heard reports of Orton harassing some of the female wrestlers, some of them even left the company because of Orton.

From the other angle, if that is the case, the divas should really behave. Don't you think that most of them are very slutty. Especially Candice. She always acts like a slut who cannot wait to be raped. If the sexual harassment is the case, Orton should not take all the blames.

It is true that a lot of the divas do seem like they are always trying to flaunt their stuffbut that is because Vince makes them act that way most of the time. If he did do anything like harassing one of the divas, it's mostly due to his own fault. If it's because of something that he has said or done backstage (it's happened in the past) it was because of his own temprament. At least that's my view on the whole matter. I wonder if he's in this Friday's SD! or not now...

Slutty acting doesn't really justify sexual harrassment. Orton can show some self-restraint regardless of the Divas' behavior.

Agreed, the slut stuff is just a gimic. A lot of the Divas have finished college and Divas like Trish repeatedly deny to pose for Playboy.

Orton's Suspension was due to unprofessional conduct. Least it'll keep Rey's title reign going a wee while longer.

On the Austin names, you forgot the first name on that "Mcfreeze" deal, they wanted to call him "Chilly Mcfreeze"

And thankfully that never happened. He never would have gotten over with a name like that.

So if RVD is going to use his MITB at ONS, who do you think will have the belt by then? Should wwe just go ahead and get the title off Cena or leave it on him till then? I think Cena's title reign is just about over unless he does a major heel turn, making RVD's win all the better. You know... assuming wwe will finally let RVD have the belt.

Yeah, he definitely wouldn't have. Although I can't stop thinking about what he would have looked like exactly...

Yes assuming that they do let him have the belt that is. I think Cena is going to have a heel turn here sooner or later with the way things have been currently. Although a friend of mine did bring up an interesting point.

Even though it probably won't happen (cause RVD hasn't even been on RAW for too long) it would be interesting if he were to fight Rey Mysterio at ONS for the WHC assuming that he still has it after SD! this Friday. They used to always have some very interesting matches and it would be interesting to see the 2 fight for the WHC at ONS was my friends opinion. I doubt that it would ever happen, but it is interesting to think about...

I could see them going for RVD winning the WWE title at ONS, and having Reyrey come out with his WHC and those two having an emotional clebration in the ring. Just like when Eddie won the title. (Or was it Benoit?)

Also, Mark Henry faces Taker this Friday on Smackdown, which begs the question:
Why the fuck did they ever let him out of the casket? Caskets are a great way to not have to explain someone geting released, they should have used the easy exit >:(

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-04-05 12:20:36

cause the casket broke...lol

Benoit won the title and Eddie came out to celebrate is what you were thinking of.

Yeah a RVD/Rey match at ONS would be cool. I belive his MITB contract is good for either belt.

Yeh, that was cool and emotional, but if they tired to recreate it, it would be corny and old. WWE style no?

Yeah a RVD/Rey match at ONS would be cool. I belive his MITB contract is good for either belt.

If RVD gets the title beforehand, they could fight each other at ONS, unify the belts, and declare them the ECW title. It would fuck up the whole title heirarchy, and feeling of worth, of the titles, but who cares, ECF'NW!

Yeah, I remember that, very emotional. Was interesting to see though.

I guess it's not impossible then for that match to happen. Now I suppose he has to make the choice of either remaining on RAW or maybe go back to the ranks of SD! and try to get either of those titles. Like HBHO said, it's ECF'NW man, they should totally bring back a cool belt to have at that event as a one time use type deal. :D

They could even dedicate a segment of Raw or Smackdown to it every so often so that it stays in the limelight. Then have a proper match at ONS or other ECW events to honour it properly. God knows they dont use the time they have very well right now...

Yeah they should totally do that. Even though I thought that Paul Heyman (sp?) I believe sold all of ECW's (or most) of it's rights to things such as their belts and all of their archives, it's a wonder why the WWE hasn't marketed any of it at all. It's almost as if they're preventing them from coming back at all, maybe too afraid that people will start watching ECW again and not them even though it would technically be theirs. It actually might help them in this day and age, but I don't see them bringing any of it back execpt for ONS. That's it...

it;s not like they don't market it at all. we certinly got some good dvd's recently. a few t-shirts and hats too but not as much as they could.

But you do bring up[ a point.. what happened to their title belts? Where are they and why hasn't wwe made replicas of them? I know Rhyno was the last ECW champ and I belive he also had the tv title (avie will know) and I have no idea who had the tag belts last but did they keep the actual belts after ECW went out of buisness or did paul sell them to get out of debt? Also what happened to the FTW title?

You're correct Outlaw, Rhyno had both the tv title and WH title whe nECW went bankrupt. As for the actual belts I assume the WWE still has them but I'm not sure about that.

I read the SD tapings and Orton has a match as well as it was announced that he would be in a match the following week. Maybe he was suspended from house shows only?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-04-05 16:20:52

Or maybe its an elaborate work. I've heard different stories about what happened. One was that he tried to flush Paul London down the toilet. Another is that he was hitting on Stephanie Mcmahon and another one is that he failed a drug test. Again, these are all stories so i wouldn't believe any of them.

The drug test thing could be one of the facts that could actually be true, but I don't know if he could actually had been caught being on something. From what I heard, the WWE was going to start some massive drug testing on people and that would jeopardize anyone caught on anything. This could be true for Orton, but I don't know what exactly he could be on...

As for the other two, I got a slight tickle of laughter off the Paul London one (was he giving him a swirly?) and I think he would know better than to mess around with Steph. At least I think that he would...
