There were a few dumb segments tonight (the Spirit Squad winning the tag titles, the Ric Flair part (I KNEW I recognized that big guy from somewhere!), and the continuing of the "For Eddie!" storyline...but hey, at least Cena lost. I'm a Triple H fan, and am steamed he lost last night (which I didn't get to actually see, pfft), but it's good to see him kick Cena's ass for once.

As for Edge...eh, he'd be okay as a champion...but honestly, I'd prefer another H reign, at least for a while.

HBK and God as a tag team?? Vince has really lost his mind, poor bastard. HBK had two words for Vince and my question is what's with all the DX crap going on?

I don't know what's going on with the DX references, but I think it would be cool if Triple H and Michaels could get together and create a new DX (although I don't see it happening). McMahon has lost his mind a long time ago, he hasn't been acting normal in quite some time in my eyes. What would be funny is if they have some character come out dressed up in a white robe and called him God and it would be Michaels's tag team partner. That will never happen either, but would be really funny to see happen.

What if God turns heel and attacks HBK? Seriously this is the dumbest thing the WWE has done since they gave Jamal that samoan gimmick... Oh wait!!

Maybe God will turn out to be JBL.... he is a Wrestling God! Or maybe it will be David Arquette.... he won the WCW World Heavyweight Title, why can't he be God for a day? Or perhaps it will be Linda McMahon... she has been known to be pretty Godly at times. Ok, so maybe none of these things will happen. A man can dream, can't he?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-04-04 00:22:28

Well, HBK did make a reference to wanting to beat up Cena as the most popular thing these days, so if it weren't for his business with the McManholes, then I'd say a DX reunision would come sooner than later. Problem is, James Gang are on TNA, so even if there were a reunision, a major part of it would be missing.

So, after tonight I have a new kind of respect for Cena. Despite getting his ass booed so hard, he's taking it relatively well, and is practically a heel to half, and a face to the other half. I think that Cena's title run just got a lot more interesting.

Indeed a man can. It'd be funny to see JBL come out as God for HBK. If the man can dress up as Santa at Christmas time, then he can attempt to be God I'm sure. That or maybe he can just come out in the Santa suit and wrestle for the hell of it. :P

Maybe so, but he's still terrible in the ring if he wants to earn the fans' respect he has to become a better wrestler.

My personal opinion on Cena is that he is an okay wrestler, he just shouldn't be the champ. He is better off winning other titles.

C'mon now, there can only be one God: Morgan Freeman! Sure he let Jim Carrey be God for a bit but we all know how that turned out.

but seriously, I just found myself laughing at Vince. Divine intervention, putting God in a tag team match, strange way of saying Shane is his son.. yup, Vince is a funny guy.

I agree there. When he was going after things like the US Champion belt, I think he was a lot better off going after it than jumping from there to the big leagues. He needs to learn some better moves and get a little bit more of a personality and then maybe people won't boo him. I think it's because people are getting tired of seeing him. It's the same stale thing most of the time: I come out, talk a little and then get interupted and have to say something stupid to get a match going. Always the same...

I like Triple H and all, but there is one thing that I do not like about him right now. People may agree or may not, but I think that crazy mustache mutton chop combo he has has got to go. I don't know why, but ever since day one that he had that, he was giving me the mental image of Hulk Hogan cause he had something similar to it back in the day. I don't know why it bothers me so much, but it does. Either have a goatee or shave it off! *end rant*

He's set to defend his title against Randy Orton on Smackdown!. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rey drop the on Smackdown.

Because WWE has probably convinced itself the only way the show can draw is for WWE guys to be there. The stuff I read in "Hardcore History" has been very eye-opening, and just goes to show how much even pretty hardcore (no pun intended) ECW fans really don't know. But yeah, basically Vince listens to idiots like Kevin Dunn (head of production) who reportedly has said that ECW was not as big as the crowd reactions make it out to be (never mind the big buyrate, and the fact that the company basically operated for the better part of a decade never really making money, but still staying strong. Right Kevin?), then let's guys with a grudge like JBL (know why he hates ECW so bad? The big goof tried to get work there shortly before going to the WWF, but Paul E. thought he was terrible and refused to use him! Suddenly that lobbying to get himself sent to the show makes a lot more sense now...). I have to agree with the above though, unless the idea is to send a champ there to job (and if RVD is not moved in the draft, or turned heel. We need to assume that his opponent will either be H, or a heel turned John Cena), and then RVD throws that title down to ressurect ECW declaring himself it's champion, then it's simply using the ECW name to promote WWE further, and any credibility ONS might have as an ECW reunion or tribute show will be destroyed. Not saying WWE won't do it, just saying they shouldn't.

As for the championship situation, here's how it looks to me: Rey will drop it to Orton on SD!, because the Mania win was just feel good stuff for the hardcore fans, and the way Rey has been booked, he looks like a paper champ, and WWE will more then likely be damned then let him carry it. A big fuck you to the tanned steroid freak chairman on that one. Cena will most likely drop it to Triple H at Backlash, and my GOD did they make him look like a fucking moron on RAW. Triple H jumps on Edge, so Cena thinks H is his friend? Gee, I guess John Cena has never watched what Triple H does to his "friends" on TV before...I'm not a big fan of John Cena, but I had to feel bad for him after that stupid piece of booking.

I may join Ryo soon in simply not watching WWE anymore. Mania was solid, and had some good stuff on it that I really enjoyed...but so much of that (RVD's win, Rey's title win, which was DESERVED by the way, I really do not care what you critics think) is going to be erased, or botched over the coming months, and that will probably destroy the last shred of my ability to watch any new WWE programming. I'll probably at that point just stick to TNA (which I am enjoying) and old ECW footage.

I've been here before but I never been a member, so can I join in?

WrestleMania 22 was ok, (5/10). Some matches were good but others were just there to kill time. During the Hall of Fame, the fans wanted to see Austin go at it against Hogan also didn't Hogan asked the people on WWE Homecoming in Oct. 2005 that would they like to see Hogan vs. Austin at WrestleMania 22? What do you think that match didn't happened? I thought it would be good just like the Hogan vs. Rock match at WrestleMania X8. Do you think it could happen in WrestleMania 23 in Detroit?

ok, Raw sucked. what I find intresting was that when cena walked out teh fans booed him really loud and they booed HHH but when HHH set cena up for his finisher the crowd went apeshit and cheered loud as hell. that was good. also they need to stop bringing in these damn people who are a mock of their race. first it was that fat lady being shelton's mom. that was stupid now that sterotype cuban guy last night. come on people. WWE is losing it they figure after mania they can just throw shit at the tv again

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-04-04 09:36:00

We've been talking about RAW but the only real match was the Chavo-Shelton one the rest was crap. The Spirit Squad are champs,RVD didn't wrestle, the Carlito-Masters segment lasted 30 seconds,Vince completely lost his mind on national tv and Cena sucks and he's still the champ.

But I least I got to see TNA which I couldn't see on Saturday and I'm going to say it again the WWE better watch their backs and they better take TNA seriously.

Knowing the WWE, the next thing is that they are going to make Flair, a true legend job to the Cuban greenie, how pathetic. Rey winning was also crap although I saw it coming 100000 miles away. He is going to defend the tittle against Orton on SD! this Friday, and Vince is going to make Orton job again since he is not over with the Eddie sympathy wave yet. RAW was crap like always since Cena came. The only highlight was the pedigree, it was sweet and the Chicago fans also marked out when Cena got his faced landed first. Expect a dark age of the WWE until Rey and Cena lose their tittles for good. If I was Vince, I would make Undertaker tombstone Rey and give the deadman a proper last tittle run with UT never had a long major tittle run. If it happens, (very unlikely since Vince is a moron) I will completely MARK OUT.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Tyson Tomko. WWE wishes him the best in all of his future endeavors.

WWE's version of spring cleaning seems to have started. Wonder how many cuts to the roster they will make this year?

They should stop with all about the Eddie's death role in his friends. That didn't happened much with the death of Owen Hart.

Yeah when Owen died they only talked about it once or twice not its every once in a while and they have made a whole Storyline off of Eddie's death. Is the WWE so desperate for a Storyline that this is the best they can come up with?

RAW Review -- March 3rd, 2006

Best Match: Chavo Guerrero vs Shelton Benjamin -- This was like the middle carder version of Angle vs Micheals. Both wrestlers were phenominal. If they didn't plan on getting rid of Chavo for a while, I'd say a big push would've been in the cards for him.

Worst Match: Kenny & Mikey vs Kane & The Big Show -- We all knew that Big Show and Kane had to lose the titles. But to the Spirit Squad? What the hell was that? I would ave rather seen Masters and Carlito become champs than those bumbling idiots.

Best Moment: Carlito Attacks -- I called it right (not to hard to figure out though). It was great seeing Carlito back in singles competition (we can hope). It was funny to see so many of the fans behind him. Perhaps a babyface turn is next for Caribean Cool...?

Funniest Moment: TIE

HBK and The Almighty -- "Ladies and Gentleman, Vince McMahon just booked God." Definately one the funniest moments of the night.

Triple H and The Wigger Unite -- I really don't like Edge all that much, so seeing Triple H and Cena beat the shit out of him was nice. Of course, the even better part came when Triple H pedigreed Cena straight to hell...

WTF!? Moment of the Night: Umaga -- Random dude walks out; insults Flair; another, giant random dude comes out; beats Flair into oblivion; both men leave without saying anything else. Yeah, this wins for sure.

Poor Poor Vince. He needs to fire then hire a whole new set of Angle writers if this is the best they can do.
