maybe he means "alive" like how lively the show is.... lol

RVD cashing his mitb at one night stand 2? That really doesn't make much sense. Why would he all of a sudden bring someone from the wwe into what is supposed to be an ecw only ppv? Lets say HHH... or Cena since neither were in ecw, was champ and rvd made the challenge... why make it so that wwe suddenly becomes the focal point on an ecw show? True if he won the title in front of the ecw crowd it would be kinda cool but still wrong.

There's currently talk in the WWE to but RVD over in th MITB laddr match and have him cash it in at the One Night Stand PPV if that does happen it will probably the closest RVD will get to winning the WWE title or who the E might do something like actually give him a title run.

I was just thinking something like that might happen. He could probably cash it in a few weeks before the PPV, and bring it into ONS. All the fans would be cheering for him.
But knowing the WWE they'd just probably manage to incorporate the title and totally mess up the PPV with WWE people.

Talking about MITB match II at WM22, I believe that Hardy, Lashley and Finlay will qualify for SD! since they are the only three possible cards left. For some reason, I doubt that WWE is going to make Ric Flair a 17 times world champion. My money is on RVD. If WWE wants Lashley to be the next Lesnar since Lord Vince misses him so much, there is a chance that Lashley will surprise us. But I think that it is still way too early to him on the very top. The chances for each superstar to win should be: Ric Flair: 10%, Benjamin: 1% RVD: 60%, Lashley: 20%, Hardy: 7%, Finlay: 2%.

Does nobody think that Burchill might be a candidate for the MITB match? He has been getting frequent air time recently (sort of), and it looks like they are going to have him actually compete this week on Smackdown. It could be Regal vs. Burchill for qualification. He should at least be in a qualifier for the MITB match.

I don't think so, Burchill was a jobber before he changed to the pirate gimmick. The gimmick is cool and he is actually being pushed already. (started to win) But he is not ready for a big stage like WM yet. He needs a few more solid wins against wrestlers like Regal before he is ready.

I know i'm cheering for RVD as he has never won a world title since coming to WWE.=(

I was thinking (for some weird reason) a Regal vs Burchill match at WM for the no. 1 contender for the US title or just a match. If it does happen it will be 1st match. (like Rey vs Eddie last year)

I think he should be pushed. He has a pretty awesome finisher, and he a good wrestler. I don't know why they lumped him with that shitty armbar as a finisher, when he has an actual good move.

Yeah but I haven't seen enough of Burchill to say wheter he's good or not his finisher is cool but I don't know anything else about him he might just have 5 or 6 moves like a certain "champ".

But the champ's finisher is also crap. At least the end to Burchill's matches might be entertining :P

You got a point there besides Burchill's gimmick is better than Cena's

I'm jumping on the bandwagon because he's English. And i don't see many other people that are being used on SD! currently that could be used in the match.

I'm not jumpimg on the bandwagon just yet. Like I said I haven't seen enough of him yet I like his gimmick but for me it comes it down to wrestling ability.

Neither Finlay OR Lashely will go to MITB 2. It will be MNM and Hardy. And why doubt it? You think they're going to defend the titles? Against who!? And don't say Mexicools. WWE won't be caught dead making a good match like that.

Then why are Finlay and Lashley having a qualifying match tonight for MITB?....
sorry... but your logic is flawed.

And it'll go to a no-contest. Therefore, either they'll both go, or neither of em will. I'm "banking" on neither.

Oh ho ho! "Banking." That's funny, cuz......

Nevermind. =(

I honestly hope that you're right because I can't stand Lashley. But I also do not think that there's any chance that MNM gets added to that match. They at least want to make the match unpredictable and throwing a tag team into a #1 contender match would basically just mean that they have no chance of winning. Don't get me wrong, Vinnie isn't the master of surprise that he once was but I still don't see MNM being in the match.

Did anyone notice that Randy Orton's new entrance music didn't even last one week? It's already back to the old song, thankfully. The Killswitch Engage song that he used last week just wasn't a good entrance theme.

Its just that everyone is used to hearing the;... Hey nothing you can say! and either booing or cherrin Orton its not the same with a different song.

LordKooler's Friday Night SmackDown review
1.Mark Henry segment
Mark Henry talks about being overlooked by other wrestlers until Kurt Angle comes out. Angle started attacking Henry until Randy Orton came out. Then Rey Mysterio comes out and helps Angle attack Henry & Orton. Then Theodore long says that the main event will be Kurt Angle & Rey Mysterio vs Mark Henry & Randy Orton.
2.Lashley vs Finlay
They didn't even wrestle at all. They just brawled all the way back stage and security had to seperate them.
3.JBL segment
JBL challenges Stone Cold Steve Austin to a beer drinking contest at Saturday Night's Main Event.
4.William Regal vs Paul Burchill
Paul Burchill's first match with his Pirate gimmick. He looks like captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the carribean. Burchill won at the end.
5.Booker T segment
Booker T talks about the Boogeyman. Then when the boogeyman came out, Booker T and Sharmell ran away.
6.Jillian Hall vs Kristal
This was called a "Diva's undressed" match but it was actually a Bra & Panties match. Kristal won at the end
7.Chris Benoit vs Gregory Helms
A great match. Benoit won at the end.
8.Kurt Angle & Rey Mysterio vs Mark Henry & Randy Orton
During the match, Undertaker appeared on the titantron and said that he will face Mark Henry in a casket match at Wrestlemania.

Wresltemania looks like gimmick match heaven we got a thriple threat match for the WHC and MITb ladder match and now a casket match between Mark Heny and Taker looks like a PPV card on Smackdown vs Raw 2006.

Did you guys catch burchills theme? Isn't that just a tad too much like pirates of the carribean? Vince better have a good excuse when the makers of that movie sue his ass.

His excuse will be simple. Jack Sparrow never stepped a foot inside a WWE ring. Is it a dumb excuse? Yes its also a typical Vinnie Mac excuse.

Both Lashley and Finlay will be in the MITB match, no doubt about it, there are not too many choices for SD! to pick. Plus, aren't you suprised by Lashley's strength? He pushed the car down alone!

Finlay and Lashley were great... and the match never even started. My little brother says that they're going to be in a lumberjack match next week, but I might've been in the bathroom when/if they announced it during the show.

So, how about Mark Henry, huh? He isn't that great of a wrestler, but being 400 lbs, he seems surprisingly able and willing to go in the air. Remember the move he made on Rey at the beginning of the show? Yup.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-03-11 01:09:10

sadly I missed SD so no i didn't.. However I saw burchill's theme from wwe.com for those wondering how I could have known what it was and not have seen the show.

Are you sure Finlay and Lashly are in it? If they are I'm suddenly having doubts about this ladder match.

They never officially announced as of yet if Lashley and Finlay are in it. They simply had a qualifying match to see which of them would be in and the match never got underway. Therefore, it's still up in the air.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-03-11 01:14:55

Oh snap, I never knew that Mark Henry could fucking jump! (I thought that it was a fluke last week when he splashed Taker.) I mean, a 400 pound meatball managed to jump from the second rope and crashed the table. Big Show and Viscea should be ashamed. For that, Mark Henry will probably own useless garbage like Masters, but don't forget he will face the UNDERTAKER at WM where UT never loses. In conclusion: Henry will RIP anyway although he may show some efforts in that match.

Yeah, the only way I could see RVD either winning the title at the show, or carrying the title out, is if the idea is to recreate the angle that started the Extreme era and have RVD throw down the WWE title to re-christen the ECW title. But I can't imagine Vince honestly allowing that to happen. Maybe if it were the World Heavyweight title. Or perhaps Vince sees the value as I do in folding up his "crown jewel" RAW into an ECW show, as I do.
