D'oh! Forgot about that. In that case, with all the major SD stars taken for WM, I have no idea who, besides Hardy, could be in he MITB match. I suppose Booker is the best bet.

Hardy yes, Tatanka no... I don't think he needs to be on this match. Lashly might end up on a program with Finlay ans Sylvan does not deserve to be in a rather high profile match like this. Orlando is a possibility, but he hasn't been on SD in a few weeks so exposure wise he's not there.
The way I see it, the MITB match is an opportunity to not only showcase some of the finer talent, but make stars as well. Like Avie pointed out, while Edge was already over in many repects his MITB win and gimmick got him much higher to the top than he was before. So wwe needs to put stars that are already over to some degree in hopes of pushing them over the top. Guys like Hardy, Benjamin and RVD who are already established can benifit from a tremendious match, they don't even have to win to show just how awesome they are in the ring. So I guess I'm saying is that this match has the chance to steal the show if done right.

Ok, I just wanna know a few things. One, how the hell did Cena pick up Big Show for the F-U? Sure, Big Show had to let Cena lift him, but on his shoulders? WTF? That which was impossible is now possible.
(Yet Kane cant lift him for a back drop. What teh hell is going on?!)
Second, why did WWE break it's ties with Marty Jannetty? All it said on the news schtick was "WWE has broken all professional ties with Marty Jannetty." But they never said why. They didnt give a story. So, does anyone know the story behind that?
Third, wtf is with the damn Spirit Squad? MALE CHEERLEADERS?! That is gayer than anyone other gimmick I have ever seen in the WWE. Sure, I'll hand it to them that they got skill, but they are "sofaking" annoying. (see if you guys get that one :) )
And last but not least, who's looking forward to Saturday Night's Main Event? ...I am.
(my extra two cents on TNA)
It seems TNA is doing a WCW. The same damn story lines over and over again. And the same damn matches from iMPACT to iMPACT. I bet they dont even change locations. Plus, they make Shark Boy job like crazy. Shark Boy pwns. I hope that one day he gets a title. Course, that may never happen. Well, that's my only problems with TNA now. Everything else is ok at the moment.
But, one more question (Bout SmackDown!). Who's holding the tag belts at the moment. One moment I heard it was Tatanka and Hardy (least I think that's what I heard) then I hear it's with MNM again. Somebody clear this up for me. It's confusing me and it's pissing me off.
Well, I just hope that SD is better than RAW this week.
Regarding your question, Steve, Hardy and Tatanka beat MNM in a non-title match at NWO. When they fought them again with the belts on the line, MNM successfully defended. That would be the source of your confusion.
and them saying they have broken ties just means they couldn't come up with a story line for him not being able to show up due to parole resrictions.

Supposedly, there is a MITB qualifying match this week on SD between Lashley and Finlay. But for some reason, that is the only MITB qualifying match listed... so maybe they plan to make us wait a few more weeks before we know who the 3 SD participants will be. And what doesn't make things any better, (STOP READING NOW IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SEE A SPOILER) is that the match between Finlay and Lashley on this week's SD pretty much ends in a no contest which may mean that both of them will be in the MITB match... but who knows.

What I heard was that Jannetty screwed up again and got fired for the same reason he did last time. Idk what that reason was, but it was something to do with the law.
I like the TNA storylines right now. I think without the title, Jarrett and his coalition are interesting, and I thought it was absolutely great the way their little "video tape" backfired on them this week. They've actually managed to draw me into this storyline, I really want to see Sting beat the shit out of these dopes. That's something that WWE has not been able to do lately...I really do want to suspend disbelief, no matter how smart a mark I am, that's the fun of the business. But I will NOT allow myself to be suckered into the idiotic shit WWE is pulling lately.
I also have to disagree about Impact, while it's true TNA has a hierarchy, that's just the way it has to be. TNA only has that one hour of national television per week to showcase their best talents and storylines, and try to get new guys over, that's a hell of a test, not to mention they've also got to produce for a syndicated show as well (why not pick that one up to fill an hour somewhere Spike? Perhaps in the replay spot Impact has on Monday's?). The only real minus I saw to Impact this week was Matt Bentley's promo being cut short by Jeff Jarrett, then Christian Cage and Monty Brown fighting. I realize Matt Bentley vs. Lance Hoyt is really not going to be putting a single ass into the seats, or a single PPV on the board, but Bentley JUST turned, and TNA is looking to push new stars, and be different from Vince. Treating your mid-carders that way sends a message that they don't really matter, and that is quintessential Vince lately. Hopefully this is a start for bigger things for Bentley, as I think he's very talented from what I've seen, and also seems to have the charisma to maybe pull this heel run off.
I'm also enjoying that TNA is putting such a good focus on their tag division. TNA has some excellent teams, and considering that only SD! is really even attempting to push tag wrestling, this is a WWE weakness that TNA would be absolutely stupid not to exploit. AMW are great cocky heel champs, but I'd like to see a strong babyface team that dosen't have "Brother" in front of their names go after them. No disrespect intended to The Dudley's, but I think that TNA needs to build up some other strong teams, to keep the division fresh. Time for guys like The Naturals to really step up and shine.
Where is Raven bitches? WHERE?!!! I'm hoping that this storyline with Jarrett does turn around somehow to Raven getting back in, nailing Zbysko, and maybe slinking into a "power" position for the company. TNA has recognized what Raven can offer in the past, I would hope they bring him back soon and recognize that as they continue to expand.
As for them never moving, one of the things that helped to kill ECW was they ran in too many different areas too fast. While it's great to bring your product around the country, into all your fans's backyards, there's a reason wrestling was territorial until Vince proved you could go national: IT COSTS TONS OF FUCKING MONEY TO KEEP MOVING!!! Even Vince will tell you his expansion could have been stopped at any point if the NWA had realized that he was really living beyond his means in the early years of it. He just happened to get the right breaks, at the right times, to make it all work out. TNA is smart to hole up in the Impact Zone, and keep running that over and over. The fans don't seem to mind, and it's not the building that sells the shows, it's the product in the ring. TNA needs to save money where it can, and only venture outside of it's stronghold when it makes financial, and business sense to do so. TNA won't get big overnight, if they do? They will flare brightly, and then sputter into the red and die, we've seen it before. I would really hate to see TNA go down, and all the guys like Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Matt Bentley, Samoa Joe, Team Canada, etc. that have busted they're asses to make this company succeed.
Well, that was fun. I've been thinking about doing a "TNA thoughts" sort of thing post-Impact each week, similar to what Dave Scherer does with his RAW and SD! thoughts each week, since I don't think there's a huge amount of good commentary out there being devoted to TNA's product, which I really feel is just getting better and better all the time.
I was wondering about Raven myself. Hope they bring him back soon. And I agree with you on them staying put to save money when they can, they can't compete with Vince on a scale like that yet.

the MITB at WM is now interpromotional. come to think of it matt hardy is the only SD! wrestler not booked in a match who could wrestle good in a ladder match, but i have the strangest feeling that lashley and/or finlay is gonna get involved as well.
To Stevens A: yes, I agree that the Cena vs Big Show match was painful to watch. But we all know that Cena would win before the match, huh? So I really don't care how he beat Big Show. Once again, nice recap by Eagle, too bad Masters was even not given a chance to fuck up. :( I wonder what happened to SD! this week as the tapping results would come on Tuesday, anyone bother posting a spoiler?
I posted a partial spoiler 6 posts up. I have already read the taping results from Wrestlezone.com
thing is we have seen Cena FU Big Show before when he won the u.s. title from him last year at WM. So seeing him do it again is not as impressive as it was.
Wonder if there will be a CW defense at WM. And will it be yet another battle royal. Have you noticed that it has been defeded like that several times recently? In face I think it was like two ppv's in a row that it had a battle royal of some kind.

All of the wrestlers in WWE's Junior division on SmackDown got released. Read below to find out more.
Juniors released
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the releases of the following talents (Mascarita Sagrada, Tsuki, Pequeno Violencia, Octagoncito, Piratita Morgan and Super Porky) that make up the SmackDown Juniors division. WWE wishes them all the best in all their future endeavors.
Shame all the midgets got released. I imagine that, being the size that they are, they would've trained a lot to be able to wrestle on TV.

That sucks. Unlike most of you, I think that the juniors were fun to watch. I wonder what they can do after being released. After all, they are too short to find another jobs.

Coolness, I'll be there, I'm off today, and Sunday.
I picked up the Ultimate Ric Flair collection today, plus Dusty Rhodes's book, and I just finished Harley Race's book yesterday. Avie getting his old school wrasslin fix on.
Well, I read the responses. Thanks guys for clearing up the Tatanka/Hardy mess up. Now I feel good about myself and I can continue watching wrestling without scratching my head.
Professor Aview, thanks for explaining the whole TNA schtick to me. Guess I never saw it that way. Then again, I always thought that traveling to promote your product was good business. Guess not.
Dream of Duke, uh, I never saw Wrestlemania XX (20). So, I the first time I saw Cena pick up Show was this Monday. The match was a snore. I hope that this year's WrestleMania does not suck.
One more thing to wrap up Stevens segment on Wrestling Philosiphy, does anyone know the price for the WrestleMania anthology set? I feel as if I need to study my wrestling history a bit more.
Thanks again for clearing everything up guys. Let's just hope that SD! doesnt disappoint like RAW this week. Until then, Stevens A. is out for the day. I'll be back tomorrow, though. Goodnight.

You know, I feel bad for them leaving the WWE, yet I feel good about it, too. Maybe someone will take them seriously now. At least they left the WWE on good terms, though.
It's hard to feel bad when something that shouldn't have been there to begin with is finally gone. Oh well, they can at least not get humiliated on national tv now.

I hear Super Porky gets regular work in Mexico or something anyway. So I doubt it's going to be a terrible hardship for most of these guys. The "division" was a stupid idea, and a total waste of time anyway...much like most of WWE's programming these days.
SD! Was semi decent this week. Lashly and Finlay had an all out brawl, resulting in Lashly attempted murder of Finaly via Tipping a car over. Booker T had a bitch session, as always interrupted by Boogeyman. JBL section was great, mainly him calling out Stone Cold Steve Austin. Don't get your hopes up, cause he challenged Stone Cold to a beer drinking contest. He has no hope in hell. Blah blah blah, the pirate made his debut, which I was imprerssed by. Burchill's gimmick had a minimal impact on the crowd though.
Finally, at the end it was pretty much RKO and Henry dominating Rey and Angle, ending with Angle being ploughed with the 400 pound splash (Mark Henry Frog Splash) through a table, and RKO go yeah w00t to the crowd.
