I heard that there is supposed to be a Steve Austin Vs Hulk Hogan match at WM. Does anyone here know anything about this.

It had been rumored, but then Austin had a falling out with the company over the proposed finish to his Taboo Tuesday bout, and decided not to show and work with them, since then I haven't heard of any fences really being mended between the two, Hogan will be in town to induct Mean Gene into the Hall, but as far as I know, Stone Cold will not.

Well its official Stone Cold will indeed face Hogan at Wrestlemania 22 its probably going to be a crappy match but its good business.

Stone Cold at first said hw wouldn't do it word is that match is on. I don't trust that because I don't think there's enough time for a buildup.

I hope that there isn't because it will be like watching Moolah vs. Mae Young. They are both over the hill and can't really hold their own... I won't say that's definitely the case for Austin but it is for Hogan. He needs a retirement home.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-03-02 00:02:44

not so much that he needs a home, he just needs to stay there. So now not only do we get a vince match, but a hogan one as well... this brings the total old guy figure to 3. Vince, Hogan and Flair. So much for reaching towards a younger audience.

This Flash is fresh in the portal and is quite funny. give it a look.

It's official says who? My sources, who are the absolute best, are dead silent on this issue. The only new rumored match made official that I've heard is Vince vs. Shawn

For the best match possible I think kurt should go to WM. He Rey and Orton could really give us one hell of a match.

Would Hogan actually lose to Austin if they did have a match or will he pull what he did to HBK and refuse to?

I predict that the two on three handicap match at Saturday night's main event will end on a no contest.

How ever, what i hope will happen is that Cena and HHH will win, become friends, challenge big shoow and kane for the titles, but this just may the latest in my series of pipe-dreams.

on a related note, i call dibs on the SNME re-cap.

I would also like to mention how happy I am That "Mean" Gene Okerlund is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

"Mean" Gene is one of the greatest Back-stage interveiwers in WWE History, I fing it Fantastic That they are Honoring Him so.

All we have today are People like Maria and Kristal to do our interveiwing, not that I'm saying that this is a bad thing, but you know as well as I do that those girls were Hire as eye-candy, not as respectable journalists. They should really give guys like Josh Matthews a break once in a while.

Yes, yes it is. Triple H will NEVER turn face for an extended period of time like that, he loves playing the heel far too much.

So i guess that the saturday show is a mixed brand thing? Thay could work a bit, sorta like a heat/velocity mix. I think they will save the main story lines for the main shows. Course we'll just have to wait and see what they decide to do.

I'm not sure if it's always going to be a mixed brand thing or if that is only for the premier of it. They may end up switching it on and off so that every other week, the show belongs to the other brand.

I think it's going to be mixed seeing how the first Main Event will be
John Cena & Triple H vs. Orton/Mysterio/The World Heavyweight Champion.

I love it when they put teams of mixed heels and faces against eachother like that. That's why I was so into the SD/RAW feud building up last Survivor Series. I think that every Saturday Night Main Event should do something like that, just for the sake of being fresh and interesting.

know what would be cool?

A WWE vs. TNA EVENT!

It'd never happen.

The Outlaws would destroy everyone once again. Considering the overall lack of competition in the tag-team division, it would be no contest. Don't count it out altogether. I'm sure somewhere down the line, Vince will find a way to buy them out too so that once again, we will have no options.

Good news from 4-W Wrestling:

"-- It looks like WWE is trying to come up with a storyline to make sense of un-firing Jim Ross, and bringing him back to TV in some form. It’s said that they want him to have a presence leading into WrestleMania. "

Neat. But RAW would have too many announcers, then. Who would have to go? Hopefully Coach. He's a good announcer, but his comments are annoying as hell, not because I disagree with him all the time, but because it's way too blatant that he's just trying to piss off people watching the broadcast.

Why is WWE so predictable? Like everyone feared, Henry got his fat ass in the Taker vs Angle match anyway and cost UT's chance. What had been rumored all became the truth. Unworthy shit like Henry can wrestle at WM, WWE is so fucked up now.

The Taker and Angle match was actually very good. For 45 minutes it was nothing but pure entertainment. Shame about Henry though, that guy is absolutely horrible and i hope that Taker mutilates him!

I had read a story about Ross and it looks like wwe is not going to put him back in announcing yet, but are trying to come up with something for an on tv role. It's been funny sicne the story noted that he had to keep trying to come up with an answer when he made public apperances for the wwe.

yeah, when TNA Acutally becomes a threat.

also, I should point out that SNME WILL NOT run into iMPACT's time slot, because I know there are sceptics...

I've been hearing that TNA has been in talks with Scott Steiner about bringing him to TNA. Just one question.. Why?

Maybe they are looking for a TNA version of "Mark Henry". All bulk no talent....
It's a damn shame too. Scott used to be a decent wrestler before he gaine 95 pounds of muscle.

I know I still can't believe he used to do the Frankesteiner. I guess that's what steroids will do to you.
