Hopefully next week, they find a way to throw Carlito into it, like they did with Rey and the WHC match. Since Shelton is in the MITB match, I suppose he will not be defending the Intercontinental Championship at WM so who would Carlito be fighting if he doesn't get thrown into that match?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-02-27 23:47:41

Man tonight was boring. I fell asleep during the HHH and Cena segment. The Edge and Foley match sounds exciting, but it might as well be a triple threat match between Lita, Edge and Foley.

ok i have to call BS here. You have a Ladder match with RVD, Benjamin and you have Flair instead of Carlito? WTF?! Don't get me wrong, I like Flair, he's a living legend and deserves credit, but he does not need to be in this match. How about letting the future of wrestling have a chance to shine instead of always resorting to the past? I just hope they give Carlito a second chance or something. I'm actually surprised that they only have three people in the MITB. I thought for sure Masters might be added.

Man HHH can cut deep huh? The crowd was booing cena so much it was almost sad in a funny kind of way.

I just though of something: HHH = The Game right? but HHH also stands for Hungry Hungry Hippo's which is also a game... Funny match-up huh? Wonder why no one has thought of that yet.

Hearing Cena booed that loudly was excellent. It's going to be a beautiful day when HHH, the ultimate heel, is actually cheered when he wins the WWE Title. And about the Money In The Bank match, if Carlito is not added, it's going to be a huge disappointment.

Considering some of the things they said to eachother, I wondered for a while there if it was a real argument instead of a script. HHH directly addressed Cena's lack of moves and his wrestling talent, which I havn't seen before by another wrestler. Cena couldn't even come up with much of a response, either, and seemed relatively modest. He, too, noticed and referred to his own boos. Very interesting segment, I thought.

don't get me wrong i like Cena of course he is newish, but Triple H is my favorate... so i hope he does win for 11 time whoooo!!!

lets see Ric Flair is cool of course but Carlito and these other new guys need they're chance as well Cena got his!!

I think the Undertaker is stooping big time, the more he wrestles, the more it seems like he loses strenth fast, i dunno what the hell is wrong with him, i look back on what he did to Kane at Wrestlemania after Kane buried him, Undertaker beat the hell outta him, and gets dragged down by Randy Orton... god cmon

the Boogeyman is pretty damn cool, hes funny as hell hes one man i would like to see go up against the Undertaker

thats just it, i look forward to seeing Rey Mysterio wrestle for the title too awesome some jackass like Orton don't deserve it.. thats just it

Are you saying that Orton doesn't deserve the title but Rey does? What did Rey do to earn the title..... other than exploit the death of a friend for personal benefit?

Rey earned it bottom line, other than having it stolen from some cocky guy like Orton i have to say dramatically that Rey should have his big chance now.. Eddie Guerrero is awesome yes very awesome, but Rey's little thing with his dead friend is a bit overrated but the guy has come far to follow in footsteps, i give him alot of that

I don't know how many of you knew this but Finlay has been a WWE wrestling school teacher for quite some time. He has been training a lot of the guys that you see on a weekly basis now.

Hello, Fit Finlay? WCW perrenial mid-carder? Vince overheard him say he could go back in the ring, and put together a package where he could go back.

Anyways, If you guys wanna stick with WWE only, thats great. I'm off to start a new one that includes indy feds, including TNA, only so other topics can be discussed. I get all this on another website, it's bored me already.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-02-28 00:55:40

We discuss TNA and indy here as well. If you read back a couple of pages, you would see discussions about both. If you attempt to start a new club about wrestling, don't be shocked when it gets locked.

That's true. I believe it was avie who locked a TNA Club thread and said that "wrestling" is really the dominant term over "WWE." The "WWE" is really just there to clarify that it's a club for fake wrestling, not the real kind, and when you think "wrestling," WWE (or WWF) is really the first thing that comes to mind.

So does this mean that marty is not back? He didn't do either thing to get a contract.

in just looking over the "news" listed by wwe, Helms has signed a long term contract so he'll be around for a while. Other than that a lot of the stuff they have isn't really news.

Huzza! Someone else has finally caught onto this. I couldn't help but laugh out loud last night when they said Eddie was going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Yeah, he was a good wrestler, brought people together and touched alot of people. Even so, I still don't understand why him of all people. Heh. So much for Chavos whole 'Currwin White' with his whole 'Representing middle class america'. Rofl.

Still, does anyone else become even more dis-heartened each week watching RAW other than myself? Granted, Micks challange to Edge with the Hardcore match at Wrestle Mania was a pretty good idea. I hope they do run with it, it's a kind of match the WWE needs to bring back. They need more hardcore wrestlers, more gutsy people who aren't afraid of a few tacks, nails, bats, crowbars, barbwire, 2 x 4's and what-not. No, I don't mean Hacksaw either. No.

I can't ever catch SmackDown! either due to work scheduling so I have not a clue what the current storyline/direction it's taking. Heck, I can barely keep up with RAW now a days too.

My two cents

I dislike him, but I think it would be a mistake to not have him in the match. The WWE need to get across the image of being new and fresh, which Flair doesn't do.And neither does excluding Carlito from the mix. He's pretty damn popular for a heel, which is quite an achievment for someone so young. it would be such a mistake to leave him out.

Man HHH can cut deep huh? The crowd was booing cena so much it was almost sad in a funny kind of way.

I thouroughly enjoyed it. Good ol' HHH breaking Kayfabe eh? I guess he can get away with it though.

If thats the article I think it is, then you can hardly call it news. Sure, they have something important in Helms' contract, but the rest of the article was made up of bull bout him being the greatest cruiser and being unbeatable.

i was suprised to see ric flair beat carlito to qualify for MITB. definately seeing that the match was carlito's idea. i don't see the point of ric flair being in a ladder match but i doubt that he's gonna win it.

It's more or less because he has to go out on some big win in some match. He'll probably beat RVD, have the champion ship for about a week, then get conned or creamed[whichever one comes first]and loose the title. Or have it for a few months like he did with the I.C. title. Either way, you could see that damn outcome from miles away.

Carlito isn't in the MITB match that's not cool! How about HHH saying pretty much what we've been saying for I don't know the past 7 or 8 months.

Just in case wwe does indeed keep carlito out of the MITB match I have an idea for what could happen:

Since both Kane and Big Show don't have matches yet why not have them defend their title's against Carlito and Masters again? Sure it's been done before but not on PPV. Since there is already going to be a ladder match, and hardcore match, a TLC would seem like overkill to me, that and big show can't really be on a ladder. But how about a tables match if a stipulation was needed? That could be interesting.

Still I'd rather Carlito be in the ladder match.

What! Carlito not in the MITB match! NOOOOoooooooooooooo!

Oh well, he's not destined the the championship just yet. RAW starts in 20min here in Aus. Thats the bad thing about Australia. But at least we get to see SD! Before the US does!

That's why WWE, especially RAW is so fucked up now. Not to mention that it still DOES NOT have a GM, Ric Flair is in the MITB match? A 57-years-old man got another title shot? Are you kidding me? Yea, Ric is a legend, but there is no way that he should go over more than Carlito who is the current No.3 heel at RAW. Let's face it, who can challenge Cena if HHH loses at WM22 because of the preganancy of Steph? Edge has been defined as a transitional champion and I doubt that he will be on the top again soon. WWE, why do you bury a potential No.1 contender like this. Carlito got the idea first and he is not in? WTF? Vince, don't you know that you are pretty much fucked right now? The only way I can think to save RAW from destruction is the draft. IF WWE is PATHETIC enough to have Rey winning at WM22, please draft RKO to RAW so that he can beat the hell of Cena. Monday's show was hell boring. The only highlight is Cena getting booed so badly. HHH, sorry, you have failed as a heel. But it is not your fault, almost all the heels will fail to get heat and boos from Cena.

I still think that Carlito will get himself into that match. Why would they have a 3-way MITB match? They won't, Carlito will get into it. And Duke, I love your idea about Orton kicking Cena's ass if he switches shows but I still don't think that Cena is going to beat HHH so it may not matter.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-03-01 00:39:28

know what the worst of all this is? The should have waited until after maina to ge this saturday night thing going. They put shane vs HBK and HHH/Cena vs. Rey/RKO/Champ (probably Kurt) as matches on it. This leaves HBK vs Vince at mania which is a far cry from the tag one i came up with.

having this saturday night thing going looks to be taking away from mania itself. Vince and crew are concentrating so much on this new show (Which btw is a bad idea and I'll get to that in a sec) that they are letting things slip for their biggest show all year. Their mega show, the one that is supposed to define their product and really show us what wwe can do. So we get stuck with a Vince match on it.. wow great way to showcase your talent huh vince? By putting yourself in a match at your super show.. ego maniac idiot...

Also the reason why it's a bad idea to launch this show is it risks oversaturation of the product. If you keep on showing and doing the same kind of stuff, it will get old and people will no longer want to see it. WCW tried this once and it did just that.

lol, that HHH< i wonder if he's even tryin' to be heel.

"Wow, your ultimate move is pumpin' up your ReeBoks"

or "Your like Rocky BalBao. You keep gettin' up and winning. Your not actgually good, but hell you still win."

lol! I believe theres still a way ahead for young Carlito. HHH segmant and McMahon segment saved that ep of RAW. Wow Great comeback Cena "Wow, looks like I won the $50 pool at back for what HHH will say next." nly about 3 people got that, and they still didn't laugh.

Which is funny because H walks around all the time bad mouthing anything that breaks kayfabe. Wow, so I guess he forgot about his own involvement in the Madison Square Garden Curtain Call, and Montreal, didn't he? Oh well, I guess when you're that far into the corporate structure, your memory begins to get a bit selective.

From what I'm reading, there are still more participants who will be added to the MITB match. Which I like that idea, as the qualifying matches are a good way to try and make RAW "must watch", if Carlito dosen't maneuver his way in (and hell, I like Ric Flair, I think he deserves a role, but like it's been said elsewhere, him beating an up and comer is just a stupid stupid idea), I like the idea of a him and Masters tag team title match, and win. Since then they can slowly play with the friction, and ultimately turn Carlito face when he and Masters break up the partnership. Not to mention it would put some heat on the lifeless tag belts, and maybe they could build some decent teams to face them while they do that angle.

Somehow someway i think they are gonna throw Undertaker in the the match with Rey,Orton and Angle making it a fatal four way (like they did with Wrestlemania 2000).

I would hate a Fatal 4-way.

Wresltemania matches are always better as 1 on 1 ultimate battle of strengths. No 45 minute matches where its pretty much even, then one guys has the upperhand, about to win THEN OUTTA NOWHERE>...

hate those matches

Those kind of matches aren't that bad, if done well they can be really exciting.

So there will be more added to the money match? Thats good to know, wonder who else may be in it.

I hope carlito, i mean it was his idea for the match and they could start a RVD/Carlito rivalry hopefully. If there are more qualifying rounds on RAW next week Carlito should get a second chance.
