Report: Booker T Injured At House Show
Booker T injured his right knee in a match with Matt Hardy at Monday night's SmackDown! house show, reports WrestlingObserver.com.
Immediately following the match, which came to a sudden end when Booker showed signs of pain, a number of referees hit the ring to help the wrestler make it to the back. After several minutes, he was able to get up for the trip up the ramp.
Details on the injury's severity are not yet available.
Booker T was scheduled to wrestle Chris Benoit at the Tuesday SmackDown! taping.

Gregory 'Hurricane' Helms cut a promo on Unlimited last night claming that he was going to go after Jerry Lawler. Helms is growing out his beard and will likely be brought back shortly when his new look is complete.
Hulk Hogan recently claimed that his Summerslam pay off was "good .. for his limo driver."
WWE.com has added the very sexy 'Dancing With The Stars' Stacy Keibler video from last nights RAW.

WWE Notes: Shelton's Mamma, Trish, Cena/STFU, More News
As noted last night, Shelton Benjamin's "mama" will be appearing on Raw next week. WWE was recently on the lookout for a 50-something, heavy-set black female to play the part of his mama.
Trish Stratus wants to wish everyone a "Merry Trishmas!" Trish posted some Christmas jokes on her official website. She also wanted to thank everyone for their birthday wishes as it was recently her 30th birthday. Trish also updated her comment board for the first time since last May.
A clip of numerous sports celebrities singing "The night Before Christmas" aired on Canada's version of Sportcenter on TSN this past weekend. One of the celebrities singing was Trish Stratus.
In case you missed it last night, John Cena has a new maneuver called the STFU, which is derived from a nasty internet slang.
John Cena's "Bad Bad Man" song has been playing in commercials promoting "The Shield" television show on the cable channel FX.
The Dish Network is offering a special deal for wrestling fans that order pay-per-views. The Dish Network is offering a "Road To Wrestlemania" package for the next three WWE pay-per-views. The Dish Network are offering New Year's Revolution, the Royal Rumble and No Way Out for $88.95 if they are ordered together. They would cost $105.00 otherwise, a savings of approximately $17.00 with this deal.

More Backstage RAW News, Foley, HHH/Cena, More
Some backstage believe that the finish of the Booker T-Matt Hardy match was a "Finlay Finish", as WWE agent Dave Finlay has been known to do injury angles leading to the end of matches. Many fans who were in attendance thought it was real. Booker T was able to walk to the back under his own power so it may have just been a cramp.
Mick Foley was present at the New York Jets-New England Patriots game last night in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Local ad's for next week are advertising a Triple H vs. John Cena match which will likely take place after the show goes off the air.
Indy workers The Outcast Killaz received a tryout prior to RAW yesterday. They will be at today's SmackDown! tapings as well. Former ROH champion Xavier was also backstage at last night's RAW.

Maxim Magazine has pictures of $250,000 RAW Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro on the website at maximonline.com. She's currently in the January 2006 issue of the magazine with a hot pictorial. A video is also available on the website from the photo shoot.
The Annual Sally Beauty Best Tressed(R) Survey has Hulk Hogan voted the Male Celebrity with Worst Bottle Blonde in '05.

The Team Spirit gimmick (male cheerleaders) is a project of Vince McMahon. OVW star Elijah Burke actually approached OVW management and asked that he not be involved in the angle in hopes that something better would come at some point. That won't do him any favors for sure. Mike Mondo is being talked about to take his place.
As it stands right now, there are no plans for Charlie Haas to return to WWE. Haas left WWE on very bad terms with writer Dave Lagana and has stated so in numerous interviews since his release.
Ed Ferrera is currently writing a feature film titled "Agent One-Half".

WWE RAW Preview (1/2/06)
Last week on RAW, John Cena defeated Shelton Benjamin but was then unceremoniously attacked by Kurt Angle and Daivari. Seeing the brawl, Mr. McMahon ordered a match for this Monday between Angle and Cena. But it won’t just be a typical match – it’ll be a First Blood Match, which ensures that by its very nature things will get out of hand. Who will leave RAW wearing the crimson mask, and who will walk away victorious? Watch RAW (9/8 CT; USA) to find out.
Also, after his latest devastating loss, Shelton Benjamin received a call on his cell phone. Whoever was on the other end of the line will be coming to see Shelton at this week’s RAW. Who will it be, and can that person help Shelton get off the losing track?
And Shawn Michaels looked seriously concerned as RAW went off the air last week. He had just received a threat from Mr. McMahon, who took exception to HBK’s comments regarding the infamous “Montreal Incident” of 1997. What will HBK have to say this week, and is Mr. McMahon finished with Michaels? Tune in to RAW to find out.
