Holy motherfucker... As if things weren't going bad enough for the company, now one of their biggest stars just dies. Almost spontaneously, it seems.
If his death had to do with that chair shot, then it might be the end of Kennedy, too...

Eddie Guerrero passes away
Oct. 13, 2005
WWE is deeply saddened by the news that Eddie Guerrero has passed away. He was found dead this morning in his hotel room in Minneapolis. Eddie is survived by his wife Vickie and his two daughters.
---------------
I seriously doubt that the news is true. In case he indeed passed away, eventually, it will Randy Orton one on one against Batista for the world heavyweight championship next Friday. I am sorry to hear that Eddie died. But the problem is, who will get his spot for the SD! vs RAW match? RO? Mr. Kennedy?

He died of heart faliure, thats what nodq.com said...
R.I.P Eddie, Viva la Raza, may heaven forgive you for all youve lied about, cheated at, and stolen holmes...
Yeah...
I would believe heart failure. I mean he was doing drugs many years ago. maybe it caught up with him. heart failure is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US
I love WWE I wanna join too.
BATISTA RULZ!!!!!!!!
guys, eddie kicked ass. pure and simple. and its sad that he is gone so soon. he never really got to show what he could do.
Not to seem shallow, but i was wondering if i could join your club
I'm listening to the conference... it's fucking sad :'(
A World Wrestling Entertainment star was found dead in his hotel room Sunday in Minneapolis, where he was scheduled to appear that evening in a WWE show.
Eduardo Gory Guerrero, 38, didn?ft respond to a wake-up call Sunday morning, authorities said. His nephew, fellow WWE wrestler Chavo Guerrero, and hotel security at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center forced their way into the room and found him.
There were no apparent signs of foul play, police said. An autopsy was planned to determine how Guerrero died.

His nephew said Guerrero was open about past drug and alcohol abuse but had been sober for four years. Guerrero was married and had three children.
?gThis is a huge loss,?h said WWE chairman Vince McMahon. ?gEddie was a wonderful, fun-loving human being. Eddie was a consummate performer.?h
Guerrero was a featured star on the UPN series ?gWWE Smackdown!?h and son of Mexican wrestler Gory Guerrero. Last year, he became the second wrestler of Hispanic heritage to be WWE champion, though he lost the title four months later.
UPN also aired a special last year on his life, ?gCheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story.?h The program chronicled Guerrero?fs childhood and his struggle with drug addiction that almost cost him his job, family and life.

Well I suspect people thought it was going to really great after the 2hr special event. I hope to see Austin Aries in more matchs. The Aj and Petey match was a finisher match thats why they where attempting their finisher so much plus you saw he didnt pin him which was a dead give anyway. Double J damn him for making sabin lose well the midrope stoke was nice a little sloppy. Anyways Go Petey hopefully he will win today at Genesis.
I never heard of Monty Stopp(sp) plus I havent seen Kishi wrestle in tna impact.
You don't know who Monty Sopp is? Monty Sopp is Kip "Billy Gunn" James' real name.
And Kishi isn't signed to TNA but he operates a promotion in Italy called Nu Wrestling Revolution. And I'm very sad that Eddie Guerrero died. Who will attend his funeral? And what do you think is the biggest wrestling death of 2005? Chris Candido's death? or Eddie Guerrero's death?

May you rest in peace Eddie.
We will all miss you.
I just got back from the WWE supshow live in Minneapolis, MN! I won't spoil thing for you guys, you'l see it all on tv, but I will say that they did have the 10 bells of silence for Eddie Guerero's death. I want to say more, but I don't wanna ruin it for the rest of ya. as for me, I live in Minnesota and I came, I went, and I saw. It was a great night. In rememberence of Eddie Guerero, we love you!
I just went to www.wwe.com. It says that SD! will have a special episode for Eddie. So does it mean that the world heavyweight championship match is canceled? So as Batista hurt his back, will be still be in the Survivor Series? Who will replace Eddie's place at the Survivor Series? Any answers? :)

Yes! There are many answers Dream_of_Duke. Warning! Spoiler warning!
The world heavyweight triple threat match was canceled. Mr. Kenedy won against someone else to become the new 5th member at survivor series. Batista never wrestled, and only cryed to Eddie's death and life. Also, just one more thing, there was an all SD and RAW, diva battle royal!

This is the scariest issue I've seen on wrestling since I started watching it. Batista has been the best World Heavyweight champ EVER and I'm afraid that Randy Orton might win since the tragic loss of Eddie Guerrero. It puts a tear in my eye for Eddies family.

Eddie...Eddie Guerrero was...
I'm sorry, this is just really really hard for me to do...I still can't believe this happened.
Eddie Guerrero was one of my favorite performers, one of the sole reasons I was watching WWE, Eddie could take a bad show, and for the little amount of time he was out there, he could make you forget all the garbage you'd seen beforehand, and just be entranced by whatever he was doing. Eddie was a wrestler who impressed me from the first time I saw him work in ECW (A 2 of 3 falls match against Dean Malenko, just before they went to WCW), to the last time I saw him work in WWE (just a couple of weeks ago). Eddie was a special performer, he was a special man too, I had tremendous respect for when he returned from drug abuse and alcoholism, and I cheered as loudly as anyone when he won the WWE title, and successfully defended it at Wrestlemania 20.
Eddie was as good in the ring, as he was on the mic, in a perfect world, Eddie would have been pushed to the moon, and some promotion out there would have turned them into their brightest shining star. Maybe WWE would have done that...we'll never know now. I offer my sincerest condolences to his friends, and to his family. I hope Eddie is looking down on us right now from heaven, and I hope he's smiling, Vaya Con Dios Eddie Guerrero. Go with God.
Latino Heat will be forever missed. I am deeply horrified to learn of his death.
I wanted to talk about other things but it doesnt seem appropriate to bring them up yet.
We need our mourning for EDDIE
HAPPY EASTERHappy EASTERhappy easter
If we were provided an address to send cards and such, I would.
Since Sd will be the tribute show, what will raw do?

I'm guessing Raw will also do a tribute show they should Eddie deserves it
Actually there is a tribute from both Raw and Smackdown and the tapings has ended hours ago..
A great athlete, great performer and a great entertainer Eddie is...No one is fit to sit in that hydraulicsthan Eddie Guerrero does in wrestling.
Wel will miss you Eddie! Tnx for everything!
I am not against a tribute show for Eddie. In addition, like all of you, I am also very sad that Eddie passed away. However, things have to move on. My question is: Is SD! still going to set up a world heavyweight championship match between RO and Batista? Will Batista lead the SD! team against RAW in the Survivor Series? I saw a report saying that the main event for Eddie's tribute will be Cena vs RO instead of Cena vs Batista? Does it mean that Randy Orton will be the champ very soon?
It is sad about eddie but as they say the show must go on
we need a ppv results for Genesis did anyone c it?
Eddie's death came as just the biggest shock. It was so unexpected. My condolences go out to his wife Vickie and to his family.

this is really hard to watch. im still in shock i cant believe it.
I have to say this about wwe. They do their best to honor what they have lost. They did an axcellent job when it was owen, and it;s no exception here.
As for the SS match.. Is Batista still in the match since he hurt his back? And they still have not figured out what to do about the title.
