Eh, I would've rather seen Big Show make the pin.

As for Doink, I only think he came back just for this week so Conway could beat him. Isn't Doink kinda old?

And JR got fired. What the fuck, guys. I kinda saw it coming, but this is just bad.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-10 23:30:22

I think we all knew JR was going to be the one, I mean come on they had it on wwe.com that he was being rumored to being let go. So besides that crap factory of a move that they have done way to many times in the past. they fired JR way to much. not that big of a deal anymore. On the plus side, vince still has it when it comes to him on a mic. unlike others vince has the skill and wordplay to make a enjoyable time when he is talking

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-10 23:39:46

damn... what we had 3 matches? Geez. Having JR off the announcing team is a big mistake.

The rest of the time was huge dialogue sessions by the McMahons (twice, actually), Triple H, and all of the people on Carlito's show. And commercials. They always have long commercial breaks.

I kinda liked Cena's part. I enjoy genital-oriented jokes.

Ask and ye shall receive.

At taboo Tuesday, cena will fight someone and get teh shit beat out of him but he will win, after he wins the match edeg will use his title shot to call in a ref after the match, beat cen and walk away the champ. I am telling you if that happened it would be so kool and new that it would draw attention

That's not all that new, as those who read my Justin Credible and Rhyno bios remember, both Rhyno and Justin used this same tactic on Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman respectively. Jumping into the ring after the champion has had a grueling match and won the belt, then goading him into an impromptu match which he quickly loses switching the belt to themselves. Granted, it hasn't been pulled in a few years, and Edge can much more easily claim such a shot then those two did (since they just essentially appealed to the manhood of the champ, where Edge can call in his "anytime before Mania 22" title shot and FORCE whoever is champion to face him). It's a good angle, and makes perfect sense as Edge is coming off of beating Matt Hardy and cheating him out of not just his shot at revenge, but justice. I think they've missed a good oppurtunity to shoehorn Hardy onto No Mercy to try and set up his coming to SD! as a big deal, but it's still a salvageable situation, and this may actually benefit Edge. If he WERE to cash the shot in at Taboo Tuesday, and Hardy has NOT appeared on SD! yet. Edge would easily be able to make himself the top heel on RAW, and then Hardy could be built up on SD! and debut at their next PPV, or as a dark horse in the Royal Rumble. But I really doubt any of that is going to happen.

See here is how it will go, at taboo tuesday they will have that voting thing again and of course HBK will win the vote. now if they use that idea that I am throwing out which has been done in the past. back in the WWF and WCW days it was done alot and cause people to watch more. if that happened edge would be something great. he does have the talent and he has the attitude to be the next great heel, this is true. but unless the writters make him win the title in a really "heel" way they will just brush him off after awhile. All I know is their is no way Cena can walk out of taboo tuesday the champ. he had that belt long enough.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2005-10-11 10:39:45

Lets just hope he doesn't keep it until WM. If they keep the belt on him he will have had it for a whole year. Then we would never hear the end of it.

Nice twist to Raw, but really, really predictable. And Linda really can't pull off the heel thing. She doesn't have the right evil/whiney whorish voice to say "you're fired".
If the money in the bank was on a face, it would be possible that they'd go with an angle where it becomes void if the wrestler doesnt return from an injury before a certain PPV. Any way that they could/would incorporate that on Edge? Oh wait, wasnt that edge that they pulled that on last, when he was gonna get stripped of the IC title if he didn't wrestle?

The title clause only has one stipulation expiration. The title being stripped is a good idea like the edge story. this doesnt include the womens title.

Okey dokey, a few things on RAW i wanna bitch about. One, not enough matches. Two, all the talk parts sucked balls. Like when Linda fired J.R.. Of course, we knew that was coming. And who the hell was that one girl who rushed in and kicked Victoria's ass after her match with Trish?

However, for the No Mercy predictions, heres my results. But before I release them, I want to say that Nunzio had one hell of a short reign as Crusierweight Champ. Just like Carlito with the Intercontinental belt.
Now, without further ado, the results of my predictions..

LOD w/ Christy Hemme v. MNM- LOD, yeah got that right.
Fatal 4 way for the US championship- Benoit, yep. Too early to lose that belt now.
JBL v. Rey Meysterio- JBL. Damn that sucks. I see a rematch in the near future.
Undertaker v. the Ortons- Ortons. Damn this sucks worse than JBL's match.
Mr. Kennedy v. Hardcore Holly- Didnt I tell ya's that Mr. Kennedy would pull the win outta his ass?
Batista v. Eddie- Well, Batista won. So, how long will Batista hold on to his World Heavyweight Championship? I say, at least another month. Cena, on the other hand, has weeks.
Bobby Lashley v. Simon Dean- Uh, this was easy. With Simon Dean having the skills of a jobber and Bobby Lashley kicking jobber ass lately, there was no doubt of this match and the way it would end.

In total, my score was 5/8 (counting the Cruiserweight Championship match.) Not as good as I was at SS. Ah well, we'll just see what happens on SD this Friday. Will they hire Matt Hardy? Well, if they knew what was good for them, they would.

The thing is Simon.. Nova.. is actually a very good wrestler. But because of his crappy character he is held back on what he can really do.

Oh, I remembered the vote too. But it will be so homo if they do it again this year. Face the fact, most WWE fans are retarded and they want the top face to win all the time. That's why Hogan still shows up. Once they start to gai vote again, HBK will easily get his chance. But I really hope that Angle or Edge can get the chance. Face vs Face is no fun.

Agreed. I was looking through Simon Dean's videos once, and... GASP... saw that he actually won on Velocity once! Not a bad-looking victory either, though awkward to see a guy like him win ANYTHING.

I think if they gave Dean one HELL of a makeover, he'd be a great character. No purple outfit, no sports supplements, none of that stuff. Get a cooler hairstyle, maybe a leather jacket... anything but his current outfit.

Its odd that he was playing someone who had Farooq's old finisher, so Richard Simmons vs. Ron Simmons. Agreed though that he needs a new character. Why did they stop the bWo storyline?

I guess peopel didn't respond to it fast and hot enough for them to consider it a sucess. Though it's not very fail considering we saw them maybe 3 times. I really think that could have been the start of a really good SD stable

Because they hate making money apparently. It was a fun gimmick that still had legs, but I guess at the time they figured they'd just push the Mexicools as the only comedy type group, but their push had evaporated up until the No Mercy title win for Juvy, but even then there's no guarantee since the Cruiser division was only being used to put a title on Velocity, and now that that is no longer televised here, I wonder if the division will see more time on SD! probably not, so there's no real justification for leaving whatever money could have been made with the bWo on the table.

yeah I mean you say it like they weren't going to drop the ball. The wwe is known for having the best shit and letting it go to waste. The BwO could have been the next DX, they could have had that kind of a following. but since wwe wanted to make mexicans happy they went with the mexicools. egh well who cares right? when shit like this happenes we always have TNA.

There is nothing wrong with the mexicools, it's just that the wwe has no idea what to do with them. At least they have a title to their name now. Might not change anything though..

If the WWE cut down the amount of promos they do, i think it would help them a hell of a lot, not solve all of their problems, but most.
Wrestling should be about wrestling, not image.

thanks and you are 100% right. see folks this is why TNA is better. then is no gimmicks. just striaght forward, in your face wrestling. at most on raw or SD we get 3-4 matches. the rest of the time it is people on the mic or dumb shit happening. I think once WWE bought out WCW and ECW they felt that they could do whatever they wanted, and that includes putting in half-assed stories, characters, and so on.

Let me say this too. I like when they have a good story line going. As much as I like TNA's no gimmick-straight-up-wrestling, I also enjoy a really good story. Sure WWE hasn't had a lot of good ones in a while, but there are certinaly a few. For example, at the beginning of the rey/eddie fued, it was a good storyline right up until they made it into a family custody type of thing.

Much as I have a fondness for anything ECW, I think you give the bWo too much credit Ryo. They would have been a fun group, could have helped the cruiser and tag divisions out a little, but they wouldn't have been something you could push to headlining shows like DX was. The Mexicools can fill that same role, WWE just won't push them.

Here's a link to a forum for giving WWE feedback on their shows, they say they listen, so it's worth a shot for everyone who would like to send them something and be able to say "at least I tried to improve the product": http://help-forms.wwe.com/contact_show.php

For example, at the beginning of the rey/eddie fued, it was a good storyline right up until they made it into a family custody type of thing.

I think the Eddie holding Rey hostage had some great story potential. Problem is, I can't think of a way Rey would've gotten out of it, and WWE didn't seem to have any great ideas on the ending, either. But during the feud itself, I was glad that it wasn't just a 'guy gets jealous and betrays his tag team partner' storyline. It was Eddie still claiming to have a brotherly love for Rey, but that he's doing what he is for personal reasons.

And for bWo: I think they're fun characters, but when I saw Blue Meanie and Steve Richards wrestle, they seemed to almost completely lack any real grace. The Mexicools can put on a better physical show than bWo can, which is what WWE needs more than good characters, which I think they have plenty of.
